This was your first post.
I've told you how and where the Married Act is applicable, you can play dumb afterwards.

Unlike the West, if your husband no get house or passive income, they are sharing nothing.

A divorced woman has no rights whatsoever a claim to maintenance except she has a kid and the property in question won't belong to neither the father nor mother but the kids ( James vs Whatever - the Oyo case you mentioned ) which is subjected to more clauses depending on the situation with reference to past cases.

The Married Women's Property Act of 1882 for those who are still not aware

The court also restrained James from harassing Toyin any further or disturbing the quiet possession of the property by her and the children, holding that, “the rationale is that a husband who marries a wife and builds a house during the pendency of the marriage stands the risk of losing that house if he later divorces the woman who had children for him unless such woman, of her own volition, leaves the matrimonial home. Also, a divorced woman is not entitled to any maintenance allowance but maintenance of the children by way of settlement.”

this is the summary of the Act. The forfeited property belongs to the children and not the woman.
As long as she remains unmarried, the proceeds from the Property is used to carter for The Kids responsibilities not what you're painting.
in 1882 Nigeria I believe was a Patriarchal society unlike 2021.
This time around na who get property deh take responsibility, if the man no get, court no go order Him to create money from thin air

only an irresponsible Man will chase His kids from his house.

There's difference between sharing the Man's property and giving shelter to your Children after divorce.

It depends on the financial muscle of the husband bc the court will use dt to judge the case n amt he is to provide. If he earns salary the court will even ask for his pay slip to decide the amt he will contribute as child support.

If he earns 150k monthly may be as civil servant then 200k is excessive n court may not grant more than 70k monthly.

But if he is a Davido with 30billion in his account then court can grant 7million monthly

What if he's jobless

The snakes are not that rampant anyway. The eggs I lost before killing the culprit may not be up to 3. I only suspected a missing egg from my noiler birds, then next night I saw a snake swallowing an egg around 1am when I went to check on the birds before going to bed. Before then I'd also seen a particular snake in the chicken pen and it escaped in both instances and was never seen again. Other encounters are mostly outside ones in a while. Sometimes 4 or 6 months may pass without seeing a snake. The farm is surrounded by bushes and palm plantations that are hardly cleared. I even think the number of snakes encountered is less that I should expect. As for village people, they can't try me.

Based on my experience I actually have doubt about lemon grass and the bitter cola. I learned they run away from carbide which I bought once but it looses it's strength too quickly and it's not cost effective or sustainable to continue with that. That's the one I actually have hope that it would work

Use local tobacco plant.

Most of these cash crops are grown within Nigeria so what happened that a paint of beans rose from 800 to 4500

Also the plantain one what happened on the farm that all of a sudden it’s now 2k a bunch of plantain cub

Is it the general inflation affecting everything or a specific issue with harvesting

If it’s harvesting of crops then it should automatically lead to a famine or shortage of same crops not abundance

So I really don’t understand why plantain rice beans almost things that are grown for almost for free keep rising with dollar price that has nothing to do with it in the first place

DCatt:
That's not true, Madam Tinubu fought English for that when a shipload of freed slaves were dumped in Lagos. This is one of the reasons they don't want history in Nigeria, they know it will open a can of worms.

Yoruba language is in a world of its own and most common words in Nigeria today are from Yoruba. We even have two words(old and new) for most things, so we don't need to find meaning for words.

I'm sure you have heard of Ijesa-tedo Epe-tedo or my great aunt's favorite song

Ilu ta tedo sori oke ko ma le f'ara si, a wa n'imole aiye.

Meaning

A city founded on a hill can't be hidden, we are the light of the world.

We even have a town called Edo in Osun state.

Yoruba is a nation with groups like Egba, Ekiti and Ijebu with slight difference in dialects but words are mostly the same.

As for your prince Ogun and Edo, I don't know if you are talking about Ogun the god of iron or something else but it's funny.

I'm not talking of Ogun ( deity ) but a Bini Prince named Ogun. I just told you how Ile Ibinu became Edo.

Also, Ajayi Crowther in His book recorded the Egbas speaks a different language from His native Osogun language and He couldn't understand them.

Prince Ogun/Square 1 predates Esigie, I'm talking of 14th/15th century not some 19th century slave trade.
Politics / Re: 3 Nigerians Who Are Not Yoruba But Currently Holding Political Offices In Lagos by HornyTave: 11:53pm On Oct 17, 2021
DCatt:
Edo itself is a Yoruba word.
Itedo = founding
Tedo = founded
Edo = settlement.

The whole Edo to part of delta were part of Yorubaland, the English seized the land and settled all the black servants they collected all over Africa and brought with them there. English tried to make a history for them but it didn't stick. That is it! Any history that doesn't add up still will never add up.

Omon the only place the white settled slaves at was at Freetown, Liberia.

I'm telling you how Bini became Edo, I dont know if it was a Yoruba word ( you guys always like to found meaning of other tribes from Yoruba which was greatly balkanized as a general language fr the southwest people, - originally, the Egbas speak a different language from the Ekitis )

During a Bini festival, Prince Ogun visited an of friend who has become a chief to the new Oba ( Prince Ogun's brother ) and told Ogun to hide in a pit, when the Chief left, His servant names Edo rescued Ogun from the Pit and told him His master's plan. The chief later killed His servant on realising be set Ogun free. Prince Ogun ( who later became Oba Square ) renamed Bini to Edo in Honor of His slave friend.

Bini is the proper word. And it is a Yoruba word, invented by Prince Oranmiyan. To educate you Edos are the pure bloods while the Binis are the half Edos half Yorubas through Oba Eweka, the first Yoruba king of Edos after the Ogiso dynasty

You also know Nothing

Edo was what Ile Ibinu was renamed to By Ewuare the first, in honor of a slave who died saving him.

it was Igodo to Ile Ibinu ( Oranmiyan ) and to Edo ( Ewuare 1) later.

It was during the renaming the Title ' Omo'Oba'N'Edo' Ukwa Apkolopkolo ' became effective.
