Politics / Re: IPOB Press Release On Invasion Of Ifeanyi Ejiofor's House In Anambra by horsepower101: 8:07pm On Dec 03, 2019
gidgiddy:
Now I understand what happened. I have been wondering about the Police version of events, that they went to arrest Ifeanyi Ejiofor and IPOB attacked them with rifles machete and burnt their patrol van and killed two Police men

I wondered how the same patrol van ended up burnt in the middle of the road and why the so called 'police men' did not jump out of the back of the burning vehicle. How do you burn someone in the back of a patrol van?

IPOB's version makes far more sense. They invaded the home of IPOB Lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, just like they invaded Nnamdi Kanu's home. They killed two unarmed people and put them in the back of the patrol van. The now doused the place with petrol and left. But the fire trailed them, probably due to leakage from whatever they used in carrying the petrol. The Patrol van caught fire and they all ran away leaving the two people they had murdered to burn in the back of the van

It is these two people they now claim are Police men murdered by IPOB

Now it all makes sense

Have you notice that the most igbo hating men tend to have this obsession with marrying igbo women.

Even here on Nairaland.

I wonder why.

AS A RIVERS BOY, I WILL ALWAYS BE ON THIS THREAD

Even someone from Afghanistan is welcome on this thread as long as they remain civil.

That is not the point.

You have a mission and a vested interest to derail this thread and constantly looking for opportunities to post massive amounts of dirty pictures.

This must stop. The internet is not as anonymous as you think.

You are a despicable hypocrite. When that nuisance first insulted him by calling him an idiot you were no where to be found on this thread , but you immediately jumped out like a rat from a hole somewhere to cry over a response.

Are the pictures he posted not of Abia state? If 95% Abia state is like that, we can assume that the pictures represents the true condition of Abia state.

This thread belongs to all of us, so no leave nor transfer. You better go and open your own website.

Once again you are in the wrong thread. Open your own thread to post your dirty pictures as you enjoy doing.

It’s sad that a lot of borrowing in Nigeria goes to paying salaries.

This means that you have both the federal government and some state government borrowing money not to build critical bankable infrastructures but to pay salaries.

This means the future of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is being mortgaged for stupid and non-productive expenses.

They will in their generation still not have good roads or constant electricity or portable drinking water.

They will lay a curse on this current generation.

Reform gini? You are talking to backward people still searching for oil in this day and age.

The economic storm coming for this nation soon will enter global history books.

Rapid population growth with dwindling oil revenue and a 1% GDP growth from a developing economy.

This is beyond abomination.

Hmmmm.

Na lie o!

We all die here. It must continue as before. In fact let's give it all to the North, they deserve everything.

Foolish sophisticated people.

This is just the beginning. I'll be the last to support restructuring on this grounds.

If it was okay to take from the ND and waste on the North, the same must happen on the tax revenues.

We must all continue to drink of the cup of stupidity as we have hitherto being doing.

Una good morning.

This is something that will cause serious political crisis if care is not taken. The current allocation formula cannot stand if ordinary citizens are going to be increasingly taxed as this government is planning on doing.

Some may not like my position ,but I think Junk processed food such as those displayed on this thread in the name of industrialization should be banned by the government . Nigeria has the 2nd highest rate of malnutrition and stunted growth in Children .
Mechanized agriculture should be heavily invested in to produce abundant healthy food for the people . Healthy eating and living should be highly promoted.
Only copy the positive western culture. A lot of westerners are obese and suffer from health issues associated with consuming junk food. The only reason there's low malnutrition is because most people make up for it with frequent consumption of veggies and fruits .
Did you know Japan has the highest life expectancy? That's because Junk foods are banned and Japanese cuisine is healthy .ditto South Korea.
I observe that most Nigerian foods are 90 percent carbs ,and fruit consumption is extremely low.

You opinions here are very welcome and you have remained respectful and forward thinking in your ideas. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Politics / Pending Danger: Taxing Nigerian Citizens With Current Allocation Formula by horsepower101: 11:53am On Dec 02, 2019
With the way Nigerian economy has been performing for the past couple of years, I always knew that this day will come.

What day am I talking about?

The day Nigerian Government will start increasing taxes Of working citizens to make up oil revenues.

Why is this dangerous?

For majority of Nigeria’s history, the federal government budget has always depended on oil revenues. In addition the various governments allocated vast majority of the budget to the northern states through very questionable population count and local governments creations.

NIGERIANS KEPT QUIET ABOUT THIS because when it comes to oil money, it doesn’t come from people pocket( except for those whose lands are destroyed and exploited)

But Now The Federal Government of Nigeria is now forced to rely More and More on Taxes from working people!!!

Taxes are not just from companies or cooperations but from peoples HARD EARNED money.

But they want to maintain the same allocation formula where the North continues to get the vast majority of the federal allocation.

This means that majority of the taxes coming from the working pockets of economically productive regions will end up in the hand of less productive regions.

This is a recipe for disaster and may eventually become the real issue that forces People to truly call for REAL RESTRUCTURING.

2017/2018, Imo, Anambra and Delta state leads in numbers of students studying Engineering, Medicine and Law in Nigeria , these three states has dominated for more a decade.

I think you meant to say

Imo
Anambra
Anioma

The educational attainment and excellence of Aniomas always puts delta state in high rankings. Once you remove them, it won’t be the same. This is just the bitter truth.
