N300,000 per year is cheap when you factor all the services that comes with living at the hostel. 24/7 constant electricity with back up generator. Personal bathrooms and toilets in each hostel Constant running water (two massive tanks) Shopping complex Computer room with internet Gymnasium Sports complex Free bus shuttle to school Etc. 2 Likes |

Igbos have woken up. The level of private indigenous investments pouring into igbo land is impressive. But I would like to thank Buhari for his wickedness and Marginalization. As I predicted years ago, it has become the biggest blessing in disguise. Think Home Think Home Aku luo Uno!!!!! 9 Likes 1 Share |

Massive projects to watch out for in the south east. 1) Enyimba Economic City. 2) The rail network discussed on this thread. 3) The south east gas ring network. 4) Massive Medical city planned in the south east All these plans are in the works by SEREDEC organization. I have been following their masterplans for the past 2 years. Edit: Follow the link below to see the plans that SEREDEC is working on. I introduced some of their plans back in June, 2019. https://www.nairaland.com/5244821/ndigbo-should-know-support-seredec 37 Likes 5 Shares |
Politics / Re: Ambazonia And Biafra: Same Goal, Different Method by horsepower101: 8:52am On Dec 20, 2019 |
BeachTime: My brother I prefer the same but Some particular Nigerians who benefit from the current situation don’t want to restructure the country. That’s why they leave us no choice at this point. Even Nnamdi Kanu once said he will reconsider his agitation for Biafra if they restructure the country. He said it weeks before they tried to kill him. So my brother, the real problem is your Nigeria which I am sure you wish to see remain one. 1 Like |

BeachTime: My response in no particular order. 1) It’s hard to be diplomatic when the only response you get is bullets. Keep that in mind. 2) No ethnic group will ever be forced to join the new Biafra. Only willing parties. FULL STOP. 3) Diplomacy only works in a civil environment. 4) No country will ever support cessation even if it’s burning to the ground but that has never stopped new countries from forming. Refer to history. 5) The right to cessation is a right that is enshrined in the United Nations which Nigeria a a signatory of. In fact Nigeria is actively supporting Western Sahara to break out of Morocco. 6) You will never get everyone in an ethnic group to agree to one idea so division is bound to exist. But if you can convince the majority. Then you will succeed. I will stop here for now. 11 Likes |

Tranquillity360: They invaded Nnamdi Kanu’s house to kill him when they realized that they couldn’t win the case on constitutional grounds. They proscribed unarmed IPOB BUT allow Fulani heardsmen continue their killing spree and renaming people’s villages. Yet some people think they won’t severely rig an election of an IPOB supported candidate? Smh 12 Likes |

This article captures my exact sentiments about Biafran agitation. Igbos are split between those who want to remain with Nigeria and those who want Biafra. This is not unusual in any movement. Before the Holocaust, there were Jews making strong arguments for a Jewish state BUT so many people in their communities called them radicals and miscreants. After the Holocaust, the argument was over but it was too late by then. Time will vindicate. 2 Likes |

allthingsgood: If you feel this way about Biafra but don’t feel 10 times worse about Nigeria then you are a bloody hypocrite. Your only reasonable excuse will be that you have been in coma for years and just woke up yesterday. I highly doubt this to be the case. 47 Likes 4 Shares |
Politics / Re: Yoruba Fighting Against Restructuring , Greater Autonomy To Regions by horsepower101: 8:40pm On Dec 19, 2019 |
kettykings: Finally people are beginning to wake up. I have said this many times in the past. The yorubas want the status quo to remain. A wise man always judge people from their actions not by their words. I came to my conclusion after observing their actions. As bad as Nigerian system is the yorubas and Northerners what to keep it that way. They only bring up restructuring when Biafra comes up or when Niger delta militants start blowing up oil installations. Only stupid one Nigerianist igbos that they will continue to deceive. Never judge a man by their words. Always judge with ACTIONS. |
Politics / Re: Herdsmen Hoist Flag In Orin-Ekiti, Near Fayemi’s Hometown by horsepower101: 4:33pm On Dec 18, 2019 |
Accommodators “The Nation gathered that the herders hoisted a red flag at the ‘annexed’ farmlands where they warned farmers to keep off or face death.” You will never see them tell the Hausa-Fulanis to respect their host. But igbos who work hard and do their business peacefully, buy lands 3 times the value, pay taxes and bring significant developments to their lands are the ones they are always screaming at to respect their host. Yet Hausa Fulanis kill and fight them in their own land and none of them ever dare to utter those words. 605 Likes 62 Shares |

All I care about is the eastern gas pipeline and the 1500Mw power plant in okija. To me, that should be his top priority. But I cannot tell a rich man how to spend his money. 1 Like |

I can smell the disappointment on this thread through my phone screen. Just because Yoruba mods are quick to push igbo criminals to front page doesn’t mean that the Yoruba criminals don’t exist in the same amount. I have seen so many crime threads that nobody commented on yet the mods rushed it to front page because it has igbo name. |
Politics / Re: Poverty Is Becoming Unbearable, Yoruba Leaders Cry by horsepower101: 8:28pm On Dec 15, 2019 |
Spending time on Nairaland, you will think that yorubas are living large while igbos are the ones suffering. But the reality tends to lean towards the opposite. If the plan for voting Buhari was to make igbos suffer, that plan has completely failed. In fact it not only failed, it backfired. 32 Likes 1 Share |
