It is time for a reality check. Let us fix ourselves up internally first by facing the ugly truth.
We don't want to agree with the fact, but the reality is that the conditions for the breeding of terrorism are real in Nigeria. We all remember, it was August 1998, suicide bombers exploded 700 kilos of TNT in a truck outside of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. The bomb blast ended the lives of 257 people, injured 6,000. Can it happen in Lagos?. Please don't call me a fearmonger, I just try to imagine the possibility of such event. We never know.

I really pity all intending UK students. It will be very easy for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a Nigerian student to be given a visa.
If more Nigerians students are refused Visas now, so what?. Instead of applying for student visas to go to study abroad,  Nigerians should now turn this "problem" into an opportunity to create very high quality University in Nigeria. A high quality education system in Nigeria is the key to betterment. Nigerians need to breed doctors, lawyers, scientists, teachers, public speakers, inventors, in Nigeria. And, we must find a way to instill these alternatives into the minds of our youth. Even though it may take a little longer and they may have to study a little bit harder, the results will be long term success.

The word “cannibalism” according to the American Heritage Dictionary is defined as “eating the flesh of other human beings.”
According to your Bible in John 6:54-57, 2 Kings 6:28-29, and Ezekiel 39:17, God is telling people to eat flesh and drink blood. So yes cannibalism is encouraged in your Bible.

The Naked Truth About How to Make Money Online in Nigeria

A lot of people have nurtured the wrong thoughts and beliefs that as long as one resides in Nigeria, that one can not equally make money online in Nigeria. Please that's a wrong perception, however, if you happen to fall into this mindset of people then I would advice you change your psychology as quick as possible, before you become a prisoner of your own mind, and deny yourself the unlimited internet business opportunities enjoyed by many smart; open-minded Nigerians, just like you. Without wasting words, I am going to stress one very simple fact and that is: "the internet is one borderless breakthrough", openly available for everyone and it has ever come to stay. So having said that, it does not matter what colour of skin covering your body, your academic level or your location on planet earth. Needless to say, the internet doesn't understand such jargons. To make money online in Nigeria and as a Nigerian, all you need are; the right mindset, good business idea, right information, plus a sound coaching advice. Let me break them into points so you don't miss anything: The right mindset:- A lot of people have erroneously been made to believe that internet business does not really work in Nigeria, sad to say, they take every toxic information they perceive and swallowed it, which further pollutes their mindset and sense of belief. On the other hand, if all you have heard is true then what would "a complete internet-based business company" like e-Tranzact.com, be doing at the Nigerian Stock Market?. I am not even mentioning other small online businesses that probably you do not know that has turned its owners into information age millionaires, in no distant time. The only thin line separating you and these people is simple - the difference in mindsets. A good business idea:- For you to succeed online you need a good profitable business idea, and the best way you can get this idea is by focusing on your own unique strength or passion, then use this quality to create something you can give, in exchange for other people's money. Certainly, anybody you meet have a problem. So, do not just carry yourself about. Try and re-invent yourself; look for something unique you have that other people will be willing to pay for. This is a timeless formula for wealth creation.  The right Information:- The truth is, you ca not get any meaningful result without the right source of information, which is even the reason why the internet is alternatively called "the information super high way". The search engines and online forums have already made it easier for anybody to garner useful information and resources, and they are always at your reach.

Somalia: Man attempts to blow up plane

Thursday 31 December 2009 - 09:00

A Somali man was arrested in Mogadishu after being suspected of attempting to board an aircraft, Somali officials have announced. Officials said the man had chemicals, liquid and a syringe, same material to those used by the Nigerian man accused of attempting to blast a plane on Christmas Day. The man was arrested at the Mogadishu Airport while he was trying to fly on Daallo Airlines en route to the northern Somali city Hargeisa, then to Djibouti and Dubai. Mogadishu airport is one of the few areas that Somali weak government runs and African Union peacekeepers work with government on security in the Mogadishu Airport. Somali police said on Wednesday said that the chemicals could have caused a detonation but not one that would have taken out the airline. Somali Islamist Group has controlled most of the country while government controls a few areas in the capital. It is the first time an attempt has been made to blow up a commercial flight in Somalia. In Somalia, there are daily flights to neighbouring countries such as Djibouti and Kenya. US officials have learnt about the Somali case and are investigating any possible links with the attempted attack in Detroit, According to AP.

The word God is a substitute. Stop and think one moment. The name God is not really in the bible. If this is not an English book written by Englishmen, it’s not there; it was added. You will also find that God, whether you have a big "G", or little "g", is not being used in the singular tense, as Eloh or Allah. The beings spoken of in the bible and Koran are the Eloheem, the plural of Eloh.

If this information is true, (?) the presence of the Central Intelligence Agency, (CIA) in Nigeria is a shame and a proof that Nigeria is just a subservient of the US. How can Nigeria allow the presence of "agents" of the Central Intelligence Agency, who are responsible since World War II of most of the invasions, bombings, overthrowing governments, occupations, suppressing movements for political change, assassinating political leaders, kidnapping, perverting elections, manipulating labor unions, manufacturing "news", economic and political sanctions, death squads, torture, biological warfare, depleted uranium, drug trafficking, mercenaries. It's not a pretty picture and it is enough to give Nigeria a bad name again. It show that the Nigerian government is a wimp.

Is full body scanners enough?. Even if every airport in Nigeria scanned every bag loaded onto every airplane for explosives, and every passenger went under the full body scanner, a bomb could still get onto a passenger jet. Criminal groups have for years smuggled contraband by stuffing it into condoms and having a "mule" swallow the load, or by having it implanted surgically or rectally. The same technique can be used to smuggle plastic explosives like Semtex past security at any Nigerian airport. I still don't feel safe.

Death toll from Nigeria clashes climbs to 70

BAUCHI, Nigeria (AFP) – At least 70 people died in violent clashes between security forces and Islamists in the northern Nigeria city of Bauchi, according to a hospital morgue body count Wednesday. The clashes erupted Monday between suspected members of an Islamist sect and policy and military forces. An AFP reporter who visited the morgue counted 42 bodies on the floor of the morgue, all with bullet or machete wounds. Another 25 bodies, mostly young people including many minors, had been placed in cold storage rooms at the morgue.
Three members of the security forces were also killed in the unrest on Monday. "With the heat, these bodies need to be buried quickly as they will decompose rapidly," an employee told AFP at the morgue, where the room was being cooled by a single fan. The radical Islamic sect Kala-Kato, also known by the name of Maitatsine, has been present in several states in northern Nigeria for decades. Insurrections by its members in 1980 in the northern city of Kano and in 1992, capital of Adamawa state, also in the north, left thousands of people dead on each occasion. The number of its followers is not known but estimated to run into several thousand.

I fear for our people because they never get in-depth knowledge of the religions that they get involved in, making it very easy to mislead them with fanaticism. By that I mean, the Muslims in Africa, that are converts, most of them do not and cannot read, write, and speak classical Arabic (Fusha) of the Qur’aan, so they are always depending on some foreign Arab source to interpret and explain this foreign religion to them.

Religion (Christianity and Islam) is why no one has been able to unite the Nigerians in any considerable numbers, and is also why the people of African descent have not been able to make a real progress toward freedom and equality.
