According to Isaiah 45:7 the Lord that you go to church and worship every Sunday created evil:

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things".

Is not possible that bad government can be imposed on good people. Thailand , venzulea , cuba are valid examples.
The Nigerian problem has been blamed variously on the government, however, the government is not a person, the government is still made up of Nigerians, how then can anyone in his or her correct senses always blame a non existing personality for the woes of a nation? It beats me, can anyone then define to me who the "government" is?
This is a very good point!!. The Government in Nigeria is the innocent mirror of the nation. The quality of government and its leaders in Nigeria, is simply a reflection of the collective consciousness of all the people. If the collective consciousness in Nigeria is disintegrated and negative, and people are not behaving in accord with Natural Law, then problems and corruption will be an unavoidable phenomenon of government. If, on the other hand, the collective consciousness in Nigeria is positive, integrated, and coherent, then the government will not be influenced by any negativity. If the people of Nigeria wish to be protected from corruption in government, then they must create an integrated collective consciousness. Positivity and harmony should be so strong and dense in national consciousness that negative influences cannot penetrate it.

Holla if you feel me my Mormon brothas!
It’s sad how the Mormons who were founded by a man named Joseph Fielding Smith (1805-1844 AD), and now refer to themselves as The Church of Latter Day Saints, have actually succeeded in deceiving many Blacks into joining their congregation without telling them the root and seed of racism in their doctrine. According to them, the only black person in Mormon Heaven is the faithful servant of Joseph Smith , Abel Burns; and Blacks can become Mormons, but not priests and neither can they enter Mormon Heaven, how racist. As a matter of fact, when Mr. Abel’s nephew, Eugene Burns passed on, a Mormon patriarch, even repeated the Mormon belief, that he, being a Moor will not be able to enter Mormon Heaven. This racist thinking is not found anywhere in any of the ancient tablets. Not withstanding, Blacks are ignorant as to how they ever came up with the curse of Ham being black people. In light of what the bible says about the curse of Canaan, describing white spots in the skin (Leviticus 13:38) which the Jehovah’s Witness claim in their books, and I quote from them, page 407 of Did Man Get Here By Creation Or Evolution?, “Black race from Cush, not due to curse of Canaan, whose descendants were white.”

Obama effect 'hits UK politics'

The election of Barack Obama has made black Britons more interested in politics and optimistic about the scope for change, research suggests. A poll for the Hansard Society, in December, found 42% of black and ethnic minority respondents were interested in politics, against 27% a year earlier. Those who felt the political system can bring change rose from 31% to 41%. But black and ethnic minority Britons are still far less likely to vote compared to the population as a whole.

Importance of visibility

A recent report from Harvard and Manchester Universities concluded it would take several decades for there to be a black prime minister - arguing that the centralisation of the political system was a key barrier to progress. But political research charity, the Hansard Society, says Barack Obama's successful White House campaign has had a clear positive impact on political attitudes among black and ethnic minority (BME) voters.

Can interest in Barack Obama be translated into electoral progress?

For the first time in six years of research, BME respondents were more optimistic about how government works than their white counterparts and feel they have more impact over decision-making, both at national and local levels. "There may well be an Obama effect at play, suggesting that representation and visibility do matter in politics," said Fiona Booth, the Society's chief executive. The research was carried out in the period between Barack Obama's election and his inauguration. But the findings suggest black and ethnic minority Britons are still significantly less likely to vote than the rest of the population. Among BMEs asked, 35% said they were "absolutely certain" they would vote in the next election, against 53% of all those polled. "The challenge for everyone involved is how to harness this opportunity to better engage BME people in mainstream politics," the Hansard Society said. Parliament is looking at ways of boosting representation of female and minority MPs from current low levels. Just 3% of MPs are black or Asian compared with 10% of the UK population.

Nigerians are not cowards but Nigerians are just stuck in religion thinking that a foreign God is going to come and solve all the problems. Religion is too much over rated in Nigeria, and this is like a spell because it keeps you thinking that someone or something is going to save you, when the helping hand you are looking for is at the end of your arm.

If you’re standing next to some person and he says, “I worship the Almighty God, Allah God, God Allah,” fine. Then he says he’s a satanic worshipper. What do you mean? Well, God is Satan to them. They call him Baphomet the “satanic Goat of Mendez who is the God of lust;” Albert Pike, the Grand Commander, sovereign pontiff of universal freemasonry teaches that Satan is the God of Masonry: “. . . Yes, Lucifer is God . . .” If you don’t believe that God is Satan then this would not apply to you. The Pope teaches that Lucifer is God. The word Lucifer comes from the Latin word Lutfare which means “light-bringer, light-bearer.” The Catholics practice these light bearers, which means that they worship Lucifer in their churches.
So stop thinking that because people use God, Allah, et cetera, that it’s the same one you are referring to. Anyone can grab the name God and use it.

This is a very interresting topic. Sacrifice or suicide?.If Jesus know that they are going to kill him and dont try to escape and runaway from his own death, then he is commiting suicide. If suicide is always a sin, and Jesus was sinless, then Jesus must not have committed suicide. If Christians are claiming that Jesus gave his life for our sins then why Christians are still sinners even today. So he sacrified his life for nothing??. This topic bring many more questions unanswered by Christians.

If you do not believe as a Christian does, you are called crazy. I have debated with Christians many times in an open forum and all of their reasoning is the same, you are a cult if you believe outside of the bible. Thus, I use the bible as proof when I am debating with Christians. I show them what is written right in their bible in the languages they were originally revealed and they still can’t handle the facts. I have said it before and will say it again. The bible is nothing more than an ancient soap opera. It is filled with hate, death, murder, prostitution, suicide and lust. Look at the many contradictions, errors and nonsense stories that are written in the bible. If you are a Christian, you will realize that you are the crazy person for believing in it, living by it and dying for it.

One of the reason internet users are not shopping online in Nigeria is due to lack of trust. If nigerians consumers are not confident online, demand will grow at a slower rate. Among those who do shop online, they still have concerns about doing so and are only slightly aware of their online consumer rights.

If you look in the middle of the word Belief and Believe, you will see the word lie. Belief is ignorance. If one has to believe, it means he or she does not know, and if one does not know, that is ignorance. Hence, belief is ignorance. The most deceptive word in religion is the word BELIEVE or BELIEF, because a person can believe anything, and this means that a person can believe and be one hundred per cent wrong. But knowledge is KNOWING. Knowledge is CORRECT INFORMATION. TO KNOW gives one confidence, but belief infers doubt. Knowledge can be checked out by one or more of three tests (1) Experience (2) Evidence or (3) Reason.

Mozambique arrests 'dam plotters'

Four people who were plotting to sabotage one of the largest hydro-electric dams in Africa have been arrested in Mozambique, police say. The detained were foreigners caught with materials designed to damage the Cahora Bassa dam in north-western Mozambique, according to state media. The suspects were from South Africa, Botswana, Germany and Portugual, police reportedly said. The accused allegedly tried to put a corrosive chemical in the dam turbines. National police spokesperson Pedro Cossa told a weekly briefing in Mozambique's capital, Maputo, that 1,100lb (500kg) of the unidentified corrosive substance had been confiscated, reported the South African Press Association. "The suspects were caught putting the substance into the dam's turbines," Mr Cossa was quoted as saying by Sapa. The Cahora Bassa dam, on the Zambezi River, is a vital source of electricity for Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Built in 1974 when Mozambique was still a Portuguese territory, ownership of the dam transferred two years ago to the Mozambican government. Mozambique is among African countries which have pledged to provide electricity to South Africa during next year's World Cup to prevent power cuts.

Murder in church: Lebanese mafia fingered in Patricia Chidiak's death • Victim saw death coming, acquired bullet-proof jeeps

By OUR REPORTERS
Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Fears of the existence, in Nigeria, of a deadly Lebanese mafia have again come to the fore as the police and family of slain businesswoman and socialite, Patricia Chidiak, seek to unravel her killers. This is even as Daily Sun gathered yesterday that the Imo State-born woman who was married to a Lebanese named Malik Habib, may have had cause to believe that her life was in danger, suspicion which saw her investing heavily in bullet-proof vehicles. A source told Daily Sun that there might have been as much as three such vehicles at her disposal. Chidiak was gunned down during mass on Sunday morning, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Creek Road, Apapa - a place where her killers seemed to have been dead sure that she would not be sitting behind the protective amour of a bullet-proof vehicle. Unconfirmed reports are pointing fingers in the direction of Lebanese business cult on whose big toes she might have stepped. So, as the authorities labour to uncover those behind Sunday's dastardly act, several theories have begun to emerge. However, one of the strongest theories as to what may have happened is that the businesswoman is another victim of a dreaded Lebanese 'mafia' believed to be operating in Lagos, but domiciled in the Apapa area. But not too many people are bold enough to say what they know about the goings on around them. Mum seems to be the word everywhere - her family, friends, police and even neighbours. A source who identified himself simply as Tunde alluded to what he described as “the Lebanese mafia operating in Nigeria.” Tunde recalled that a key member of this dreaded gang (names withheld by us) not too long ago, was instrumental to the disappearance of a Nigerian ship within the country’s territorial waters. He said the man was later deported to Lebanon, but after a while, he relocated to neigbhouring Cotonou, Benin Republuc, from where he continued to run his ‘businesses’ in Nigeria. The same source said for some time now, the same ‘deported’ man had been moving freely in Nigeria, especially in the Apapa area of Lagos. Another source, Kunle disclosed that when the controversial Lebanese was away, his younger brother managed his oil bunkering and other businesses as the general manager. The link between Chidiak, her husband and the gang is still what the authorities are trying to unravel but Daily Sun gathered that the slain socialite may have unknowingly walked unto the gang's path when she and her husband decided to run their business together. As for Chidiak whose marriage to Habib was believed to be experiencing turbulence at the time of her death, with talk of another woman coming into the picture with her husband, some members of the larger family did not seem to like the influence she was exerting on the business, but it was not clear if that discomfort and distrust was enough to elicit murder. But the web becomes even more intricate when viewed against the backdrop of the fact that there is also a link between Chidiak's family and the said deported Lebanese kingpin. In fact, Daily Sun gathered that on one of his clandestine visits to Nigeria, soon after relocating to Cotonou, one of the persons he picked bones with for encroaching into his business was Chidiak. In fact, he was said to have even accused husband and wife of mismanagement. His anger caused disaffection among the 'family members' who felt, Habib and wife were cutting corners. According to information Daily Sun picked up from police circles, the problem later degenerated into an uncontrollable crisis that ended in a no love lust relationship between the husband and wife - Habib and Chidiak. Habib was said to have gathered his four kids and departed to another country probably, Lebanon, on Friday. Two days later, Chidiak was murdered in the church. With the killing, the 'deported' Lebanese was said to have again slipped out of the country. On the nature of businesses that he does, a police source told Daily Sun that the belief is that he fronts for some members of the military cabals which ruled Nigeria until the present democratic dispensation. Incidentally, much as there is so much street talk about the operation of the Lebanese group, not too many people are eager to openly discuss them. Even within the Nigerian families and circle of friends, everyone is claiming to be too devastated by the killing that the shock would not let them say a word. But Daily Sun gathered that this might actually be because no one wants to offend the Mafia. So, mum is the word everywhere, even at the police, where the matter is being handled from the highest level. "These people have connections", a policeman told Daily Sun on the condition of annonimity. He cited a situation some years ago, when one of them was being investigated. "He just put one call through and we were all ordered to leave the place: order from above." Like the Italian mafia family the Lebanese kingpin and his family occupied bungalows in a large expanse of land in Apapa, while Chidiak had her home at another street in same locality. A lady who identified herself simply as Angelina disclosed that she heard the woman bought three bullet proof Jeeps for only herself, which means that she was aware of the evil machination and modus operandi of the 'family' or whoever that was after her life. “She never knew they would have the courage to send assassins boldly to the church during service and in broad day light just to eliminate her,” Angelina alleged. She continued, “Why is it that people are so scared of this man (the deported man)? Everybody seemed to be scared of the Lebanese – an ordinary foreigner. How can we be scared of a foreigner because he has connection? He can call Inspector General of Police and even Mr. President and they would support him!” she stressed.

Cigarette smoker = drug addict

Cigarettes are poisonous intoxicants, They are composed of tobacco and nicotine. Tobacco is the most powerful stimulant and addictive plants known. The active ingredient, nicotine, is one of the most toxic drugs. The average cigarette contains enough nicotine to kill several people. When the smoke of a cigarette is inhaled, it delivers nicotine to the brain within seven seconds, which is faster than the time it takes heroin to travel to the brain. While in the lungs seventy to ninety percent of the inhaled compounds of the cigarette smoke is retained and only twenty to thirty percent is exhaled. Nicotine affects a person’s mood, learning, alertness and ability to concentrate and perform. It is harder to break the habit of smoking cigarettes than it is to stop using heroin or alcohol. Smokers can develop a variety of diseases like lung cancer, heart disease, bronchitis, and emphysema. Chewing-tobacco and snuff (finely powdered tobacco) also contain very high doses of nicotine.
Christianity Etc › Catholic Church No Longer Swears By Truth Of The Bible by Horus(op): 1:12pm On May 03, 2009
Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible

THE hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true. The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy” from the Bible. “We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific accuracy or complete historical precision,” they say in The Gift of Scripture. The document is timely, coming as it does amid the rise of the religious Right, in particular in the US. Some Christians want a literal interpretation of the story of creation, as told in Genesis, taught alongside Darwin’s theory of evolution in schools, believing “intelligent design” to be an equally plausible theory of how the world began. But the first 11 chapters of Genesis, in which two different and at times conflicting stories of creation are told, are among those that this country’s Catholic bishops insist cannot be “historical”. At most, they say, they may contain “historical traces”. The document shows how far the Catholic Church has come since the 17th century, when Galileo was condemned as a heretic for flouting a near-universal belief in the divine inspiration of the Bible by advocating the Copernican view of the solar system. Only a century ago, Pope Pius X condemned Modernist Catholic scholars who adapted historical-critical methods of analysing ancient literature to the Bible. In the document, the bishops acknowledge their debt to biblical scholars. They say the Bible must be approached in the knowledge that it is “God’s word expressed in human language” and that proper acknowledgement should be given both to the word of God and its human dimensions. They say the Church must offer the gospel in ways “appropriate to changing times, intelligible and attractive to our contemporaries”. The Bible is true in passages relating to human salvation, they say, but continue: “We should not expect total accuracy from the Bible in other, secular matters.” They go on to condemn fundamentalism for its “intransigent intolerance” and to warn of “significant dangers” involved in a fundamentalist approach. “Such an approach is dangerous, for example, when people of one nation or group see in the Bible a mandate for their own superiority, and even consider themselves permitted by the Bible to use violence against others.”
