Those who have won in the elections should be humble. They should not insult the ones who have lost. The ones who have lost should not
lose their self-esteem. In life sometimes you win, other times you lose. Don’t become sad if you lose. If you lost, so what! What’s the use of getting dejected? If someone has used wrong means to win, you must speak up, do whatever is possible by law, go to the higher authorities of the country. Sometimes, people win elections by wrong means, and think that they are enjoying the fruits of their actions. Whatever work is done by wrong means, the result will become momentary. In the end truth will only triumph.
PoliticsRe: Participatory Democracy: How Exactly Can Nigeria Be Politically Refined? by Horus(m): 5:30am On Mar 07, 2023
Yankiss:
Many of us, including our political leaders, are guilty of only pointing fingers, but fail woefully in adducing workable solutions to the myriads of problems in Nigeria. Until the present government came into power, they did not fully appreciate the numerous challenges faced by the predecessor government. We are in the dawn of a new dispensation and a record number of aspirants are openly declaring daily to take over the mantle of leadership of our great nation. What exactly are the challenges of Nigeria and how, workably, can these be fixed? Informed views, please!

It is true that many people are guilty of only pointing fingers. When a man or a politician is miserable, he blames the people around
him, the system, and the country in general instead of trying to find solutions to Nigeria's problems. One of the biggest challenge we face today is prejudice. In Nigeria there is prejudice against tribes, against gender, and religious bigotry. Class and generation prejudice, too, is there.
We have to walk carefully between those prejudices, because they hinder or impede the progress of Nigeria. The second thing is that
there are good people in every party. We should not say all good people are in one party and all bad people are in the other. It is not the party, but the people that matter. If they are criminals and are doing wrong, they should not be given a ticket...Period!!!. So we should not think one party is better than the other. It is people who make a difference

We know so much of rigging has happened during the elections. What do we do now? We have to play the role of a responsible citizen.
You must speak up when you see some wrong happening. The second thing is that there are good people in every party. Don’t say all good people are in one party and all bad people are in the other. It is not the party, but the people that matter. If they are criminals and are doing wrong, they should not be given a ticket. So don’t think one party is better it is people who make a difference.
