JayHymn: There have to be some calculations someone can follow. Did they reevaluate your grades for each course in your transcript? I'm talking about WES. I evaluated my transcript twice. When I did the trial on WES I hot 3.11 Education perspectives Evaluated my transcript and got 3.11 But when I did WES I got 3.33. All the grades in Nigeria have their equivalent in Canadian scale. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by hotboss: 4:01am On Jan 17, 2020 |
Phemols23: I didn't calculate it. Based on the original WES-evaluated transcripts I have seen, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.61 on the 5-point scale were 3.09, 3.16 and 3.22 respectively on the 4-point scale. So yours will definitely be between those values. You can get an estimated value by using the online WES calculator but you will have to fill in the grades and the units of each of your courses. I concur to this.. my 3.788/5.00 gave 3.33/4.00 |

Yahwehgbemi: Good day my people. Please, I want to know if it is wise to apply as a government-sponsored applicant for UK Visa (Tier 4) if one has got CAS statement and ATAS certificate but government has not paid tuition fees though I have the letter of sponsorship. They have also paid stipends for more than 60 days now.
Secondly, my resumption date is January 12, 2020 and up till now I have not applied for UK visa for the fear of refusal. Is it wise to go ahead and apply or defer till April or ask for extension?
Please house, I need your prompt responses. Thank you all. Please which school is this that has April start date.. I need schools with start dates other than january and September. Thanks in advance |

Zoey1: Get yourself guided and informed first. You came here seeking knowledge, face that and quit being delusional. There are no US, Canada graduates that are jobless aight? You will soon get hit with reality. Hahahahaha. Tell them oo.. that mindset came bcz those countries allow graduates to stay back.... it is not easy anywhere. In God and smart work we trust. |

hosey: Are u sure it will end Nov 2021. The website says 16 months from now.
Have you asked the school coordinator and head when u will graduate?
Better wait for Sept 2020 admission to get post study visa. Please, I'm really confused on the way different people has interpreted who qualifies for Post study work visa and who doesn't. Do you mean anyone who starts his/her studies before September 2020 will not be qualified for PSW? Does it depend on your start date, or your end date. I need clarification please, |

LaaJiblik: If it’s the University of Northumbria, London study centre you meant, that school is a ‘yahoo-yahoo’. The quality of education you can get there is shitty, to be honest. But if one has an ‘ulterior ‘ motive to travel to the UK (say for work or as an avenue for migration) then ok. Otherwise, those Study Centres on Middlesex street, London aren’t good value for money, EDUCATIONALLY speaking
Modified: Before someone will come and crucify me on this forum, the post above is STRICTLY my opinion. And YES! I am more than qualified to have that opinion about that London ‘Campus’ What about Northumbria university in Newcastle |

sassy92: If you're going for summer, my advice is that you don't limit yourself. Courses are very limited for summer. I'm also going for engineering courses and the ones I found that are offered for summer, most use Uniassist and require English Test (IELTS/TOEFL). So check all the requirements for the schools and their application timelines. Thanks .. I have TOEFL but a low score. Makes my selection more streamlined. Are you applying for summer? We may work together. What do you think brother. |
