Please I need help o. I’ve been on passport renewal since March. Applied for change of name due to Marriage. It took a while stress and journey. Captured towards the end of May. And the person helping me with the process said the portal isn’t opened for online submission for fresh passport since they are treating my application as fresh. Please how true is this concerning the online portal being closed. The stress since March has been too much on me

Once experienced this as well.... Kindly try paying using another GTB mastercard
Ensure the card is a mastercard and it has being used for online payments before

Banks have restricted their international transaction to $100 per month. It’s according to CBN policy. So once you exhaust $100 spending you wait till the next month to use up another. It will be lifted once the economy/dollar rate is stable

Family / Re: My Brother's Wife Served Me With Just A Meat Instead Of Two Meats by hotice1954: 10:08pm On Jun 01, 2020
Akinsoladwayne:
Hi everyone! So I was at my brother's house yesterday and could you believe his wife cooked rice for me and served me with a meat shocked I mean just a meat.

This is the person that knows how choosy I could be when it comes to eating.

I'd recall vividly before my brother married her, then when I visit my brother at his place I do the cooking and the least meat/fish I'd always dish my food with could be two or three.
But I have been wondering how on earth would she serve me her in-law with just a meat.
This is an insult of the highest order, like I'm gonna need to call my brother's attention to it.

Well at the end of the day I had no choice than to eat the food like that with the one meat she served me. The food self no sweet.

If you like bant me, it's none of my fuvking business.

Bastard Omo! You are very unfortunate sir

How dare to go to someone’s house and still have choice of meat? If you wanted to eat why didn’t you cook in your house? You are very Lucky she served you food sef. You don’t know how people are faring/managing their lives and then you come here to spew rubbish.

You are a nitwit

You are clearly ignorant

THE ONE EYED KING....
YOU'RE VERY CORRECT.

UNDER NORMAL SETTINGS SEF WE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE MENTIONING LOCAL SCHOOLS LIKE UNILAG OR HYPING THAT SLUM. EXCEPT THAT NAIJA IS LOADED WITH SLUM-SCHOOLS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH SO WE'RE SHORT OF OPTIONS.
OUR NEIGHBORS LIKE GHANA, EGYPT, S/AFRICA AND THE REST ARE LIGHTYEARS AHEAD.

I WON'T LIE, IT IS BETTER TO ENROLL YOUR KIDS INTO FREE ALMAJERI SCHOOLS IN THE NORTH THAN SEND THEM TO ANY NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY.. BECAUSE THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH.

Romance / Re: 3 Weeks To Wedding & I'm Confused! Please Advise Me by hotice1954: 8:00pm On May 26, 2020
I think you should read up on temperaments. I think your fiancé is a dominant PHLEG and secondary MEL. Also read up on 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman, so you can be able to understand and manage her better. I used to be like that before when I was dating my boyfriend, “oh, how we fight (not physical) and argue like cat and rat. Till one day, I got to understand his Love language and all that fight and argument reduced drastically. I used to switch up my moods on him too much and he hated that too. When he got to understand my temperament, he started helping me overcome my weaknesses. Now our communication level is 100. Sometimes, he complains I talk too much, He knows when I’m happy and when I’m not. We are married now. Your fiancé doesn’t sound like a bad person though. All the best dear

Hi guys, someone mentioned Dec 12 for the embassy to close for the years. Does that mean we won't be hearing from them again till next year?

As in we can't get passports back , apply or withdraw application s.?

I’m not sure it will be open for withdrawals. You can only pick up your passport once you have received the notification for pick up

Hi guys, what is going on with visas. Please if you have gotten visas or not please let the house know so we could at least put one and two together because right now it seems nothing is happening at all. And kindly state what kinda visa you applied for. Mine is study visa on the 11th Oct 2019 and no gist yet, officially 8 weeks.

Lol!
I submitted common Visit Visa since 17th Sept. I haven’t heard anything till date. When my travel date clearly states 13th Dec. I have left it for them. Maybe they just want to be looking at my fine face on my passport. Na them sabi!

I mistakenly loaded 7000 mtn credit via bank application but need the money.
Is there any solution?
Or any person wanting to help by buying.
Would really appreciate

Awwwww sorry dear. It once happened to me and I was so depressed. I used aimtoget to get my money bank. Although they charged some percentage for it. But I wasn’t bothered(it wasn’t much though). Just google aimtoget and follow their instructions. You will get your money back in no time. Don’t listen to these online hungry scammers who are just out to rip you off.
Goodnight grin

If I have to appeal, do I need any documents in addition to the appeal letter?

Don’t appeal. Just reapply. Appealing takes longer time

do you have an idea of how to go about this appeal process?

I’d advise you just reapply. Appealing takes about 6months or more. You can get more info about it on the VFS site
