Earlier this year, the Government of India (DoT) had passed a law requiring all mobile devices sold in the country from January 1, 2017 onwards, to have a preinstalled “panic button” feature. It’s already November 2016 now, and it looks like Apple might just have conformed to the said law.




An option called Emergency SOS has popped up iOS 10.2 Beta, which allows you to activate Emergency SOS feature on iPhone. Emergency SOS will allow you to automatically dial local emergency services by pressing the Power button five times in quick succession. Thus, in case of an emergency, now you can call for emergency services even without having to take your iPhone out of the pocket.

How Emergency SOS feature on iPhone works
Once Emergency SOS has been activated (by pressing the Power button rapidly 5 times), the iPhone will sound an alarm and start a 3 second countdown. If you have accidentally triggered the SOS, you may cancel it within this time. After the 3 second countdown is over, the iPhone will automatically call the emergency number.

If for some reason, you want to toggle the Emergency SOS feature on iPhone, here’s how you do it.
Launch Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap on General >> Emergency SOS.
Toggle the Click Sleep/Wake to Auto Call switch.
Turning the switch off will disable Emergency SOS feature on your iPhone; turning on will enable it.
Disable SOS Countdown Sound on iPhone
There are situations when you may need to call emergency services without sounding an alarm. Or you may not like the blaring sound the countdown alarm makes when you trigger SOS. In such cases, you can disable the Countdown Sound without disabling the SOS feature altogether. Your iPhone will still respond to the Emergency SOS trigger, and it will still count to 3 before dialing the emergency services in your area, but it will do so silently. After the match, Conte admitted he felt compelled to personally praise Messi for his display against Chelsea at Camp Nou.

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr , has declared that Lilleof France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, will not be part of his squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Franco-German said it was practically impossible to consider Enyeama for the tournament.

Rohr said the former national team goalie was struggling with his form.

Enyeama resigned from his international career in October 2015 following a row with former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh.

With Rohr in charge, rumours have been flying about that the former Enyimba number one keeper could return to the team.

This is the moment Chelsea fans appeared to be hit by baton-wielding security guards after their Champions League defeat to Barcelona last night.

Shocking footages has emerged on Twitter appearing to show a group of stewards wearing hi-vis jackets march towards Chelsea supporters who were backed against a wall as they left the Nou Camp following the 3-0 defeat.

Staggeringly, stewards can be seen taking out their batons and smacking fans leading to a scuffle between supporters and security staff.

Chelsea supporter Rob, who claims to have filmed the incident, described what happened on social media.

“This happened as we were leaving the stadium,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Security pushed passed us aggressively to attack fans, a young supporter was left in tears.

“Extremely aggressive and totally unprovoked.”

Another Chelsea fan said: “I was just down the walkway.

“It happened after Chelsea supporters started chanting ‘Barcelona, you’ll always be Spain’. Shocking from the stewards.”

In the wake of the incident, Chelsea have asked supporters for their version of events.

“Chelsea Football Club is aware of incidents that took place at the stadium in Barcelona last night which affected a number of our supporters, both before and after the match,” the club said in a statement on their website.

“We are keen to receive any first-hand accounts from those present, including photos and video, or any other useful details. Please send information to customer.services@chelseafc.com

“We are seeking details of supporters’ experiences on arrival at the entrance gates at Camp Nou stadium, the passage through the entry system to the seats and then after the game, any information on incidents when exiting the stadium.

“The incidents were brought to the attention of UEFA immediately and information we collect will form the basis of a report the club will send to the relevant authorities and organisations.”

Chelsea were dumped out of the Champions League thanks to a brace from Lionel Messi and a stunning strike from youngster Ousmane Dembele.

The UEFA Champions League have released the ‘Team of the Week’ after the conclusion of second leg round of 16 games.

The Europe topflight football body on Thursday announced the Team of The Week through their official website.

However, six Barcelona players made the list.

Barca’s Lionel Messi is the only player in the Champions League Team of the Week with the highest point (13).

Messi led the Catalan club into the quarter finals of the competition after a wonderful display against Chelsea on Wednesday night at Camp Nou.

Meanwhile, Barcelona, Liverpool, Juventus, Manchester City, Sevilla, ASRoma, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have all qualified for the quarter finals of the competition.

The draw for the last eight will take place at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday, March 16.

How To Set Up Column Width With The Columns Dialog Box

Just note that when you set a Word document to use multiple columns, Word assigns a default column width that depends on the number of columns you choose. Here are those default widths below...





One Column: 6.5″ width for the column. Most people are used to this standard setup when you start typing in a blank document with default page settings. Start with an 8.5″ width for the paper size, take away 1″ on either side for the default page margins, and you’re left with 6.5″ for the actual text.

Two Columns: 3″ width for each column, with a 0.5″ space between columns.

Three Columns: 1.83″ width for each column, with a 0.5″ space between columns and it goes on like that.
Word lets you have up to 13 columns, and the more you add, the less space each column gets.

Among all this column, you can just set the number of columns you want and go about your business. But, you can change things up if you want. Maybe you want smaller columns, with more space in between those columns. Or, maybe you two columns to be a similar size, and then have a smaller column off to the right.
