Aaron Ramsey will have a late fitness test to determine whether he can feature in Sunday's Carabao Cup final.

Ramsey has missed Arsenal’s last three matches with what was described as a minor injury.


Due to injury, Ramsey has played just 19 appearances this season but in his last match, the 27-year-old scored a hat-trick against Everton.


But the Welshman returned to training this week in a bid to make Sunday’s match.


And speaking in his press conference,Wenger gave a fitness update on Alex Iwobi and Ramsey.


Wenger said: "From last night we don't know what kind of state Alex Iwobi [is in].


"A few players were rested, they are all alright. After that, I have to make a decision on Aaron Ramsey.


"He looks to be available but he has another test today. We will know more about it tomorrow."

Bayer Leverkusen Ace Leon Bailey has his eye on developing in Germany before taking "the next step" in his career.

The Jamaica-born 20-year-old- who according to recent reports revealed could be an option for England'd World Cup squad last week- has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent months.


After joining the Bundesliga side from Belgian club Genk last January, Bailey has scored 11 goals in 22 games this season to attract interest of several European giants.


And while claiming that he's happy where he is for now, Bailey says it's a case of "when" rather than "if" he makes a move to a big hitter.


"Leverkusen is perfect for me," he told Sport Bild.


"I want to develop and then I can take the next step. When I Move to a big club, the people there will want to know me.


"I want to make a name for myself at the highest level."


And part of making that name for himself would seem to include winning honours with Leverkusen.


The five-time Bundesliga runners-up have become known as 'Neverkusen' in Germany because of their inability to get over the line and win major honours, but this season they've reached the DFB-Pokal semi-finals, a tournament they last won in 1993.


“If we go to the cup final, we'll win it, I promise,” he continued.

One Chelsea star could be on his way out of the club this summer after he seemed to fuel potential interest from Real Madrid.

DStv Nigeria have confirmed that they will not show the Carabao Cup final between Arsenal and Manchester City this Sunday.

According to the cable TV network, they do not have the rights to air the clash which will be played at Wembley Stadium.

Mohamed Salah has revealed the secret to his incredible form.

The Egyptian has been a revelation since moving to Liverpool from Roma for £34million in the summer.

Along with helping the Reds into the Champions League places, Salah has also scored 31 goals in the process.

However, there is a major reason why the 25-year-old has been able to find such a rich vein of form in every competition.

And that is all down to manager Jurgen Klopp, who apparently gives him the freedom to express himself behind the striker.

Manchester United forward,Anthony Martial reportedly lost his temper after a disappointing display against Tottenham in the Premier League and accidentally hit a staff member with a bottle of water.

Martial has struggled to build on his excellent start to the season and failed to make an impact in Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to Spurs at Wembley.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly blasted his Real Madrid team-mates after they beat Real Betis 5-3.



The Portuguese star was unhappy with the team’s defending as they made hard work of what should have been a routine victory.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Ronaldo was furious with his fellow Real Madrid players as they trailed 2-1 at half-time.

Zinedine Zidane’s side were able to respond and claim maximum points which keeps them 17 points behind league Leaders Barcelona.

But it was incident in the first half which really rattled the attacker, who scored his 10th goal in six games.

Diario Gol add that Ronaldo was furious with the defending of Sergio Ramos and mostly Nacho, who scored an own goal.

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, says he was ‘gutted’ to miss the club’s FA Cup clash with Huddersfield after withdrawing from the squad due to illness.


The France international was forced to pull out of United’s squad that will face the Terriers on Saturday night.

Pogba insisted he needed to make a full recovery, after also struggling with sickness in a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle last weekend.

Willian has issued a “come-and-get-me” plea to Real Madrid and Barcelona after admitting it is his dream to play for the La Liga giants.


The 29-year-old has been at Chelsea for nearly five years now after moving from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.

And he has established himself as one of the key figureheads at Stamford Bridge ever since and is one of the longest serving players at the club.

As per a growing number of reports in the English press, European champions Real Madrid have joined the race For Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld.

Alderweireld, a 28-year-old Belgian international, has been on the books of Spurs since making the move to London from Atletico Madrid in 2015.

Alderweireld’s current Tottenham contract is set to expire in the summer of 2019, though his deal also contains an option for a further year.

Cristiano Ronaldo is someone who loves a trophy – in terms of his team or individually, and when Real Madrid won back to back Champions League trophies, he was keen to make it all about him – and he loves that.

Roger Federer has revealed one thing he can’t wait to do when he decides to retire from tennis.


The Swiss star is competing at the Rotterdam Open this week where he could become the new world No 1 if he reaches the semi-finals.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has used one word to sum up Manchester United’s new signing Alexis Sanchez - intense.

Henry interviewed Sanchez for Sky Sports this week so got an up-close insight on the forward.
The Chile international joined Manchester United from Henry’s beloved Arsenal in the January transfer window.
He scored his first goal for the club in the 2-0 win over Huddersfield last Saturday.

It is so annoying to have any of your files deleted on your phone most especially pictures. Chelsea reject Michy Batshuayi has scored again for Borussia Dortmund and fans are not happy.

Batshuayi was shipped out of Stamford Bridge last month after failing to secure a regular starting spot under Antonio Conte.
The striker was replaced by Olivier Giroud as the former Arsenal man arrived to provide back-up for Alvaro Morata.
But since his move to the Bundesliga, Batshuayi has been in impressive form and has been showing Conte exactly what he’s missing – and fans are not impressed.
Batshuayi scored his third goal in two matches for Dortmund in their clash against Hamburg.
