Hello everyone, i need your advise about a step I’m about to take

I’m a university graduate from one of the top Federal Universities in the country, my field of study is related to agriculture and since I finished school about 6 years ago all the jobs I’ve been getting isn’t really paying enough, they are mostly farm jobs paying 30-35k at most, I’ve considered setting up myself but tbh I have no back bone and it isn’t easy.

I’m 28 and I’ll be 29 this year then I decided I’ll really need to learn a skill if I want to be relevant in the society because sooner or later I’ll start considering settling down and all.

I tried learning tech stuffs but I have to be honest to myself I’m not a tech person, I try forcing it but no be my way, it’s better to be honest with myself, I’m not the kind of person that likes sitting down staring at screens for long even my phone.

I’m a natural handy person, that’s one of the things made me go to that field of study in school(Agriculture), I learnt a bit aspect of the tech which I enjoy to an extent that is drone piloting but I don’t think that is something I should sit with.

So I’m thinking of learning an handy skill which is why I need your advise, I’m passionate about painting, infact I’m good with it and it’s all self thought but I’l don’t want to go into it full time because I’m scared of height, so I’m considering learning POP and house interior which I’ve taken a step to start learning. I

nfact I have the money to pay and I’ve gotten someone to start teaching me already, why I opt for POP is I like the job and it’s an handy work plus Real estate is booming so skill related to real estate should be a hot cake at the moment.

I’m going in full time to learn and im ready for the adventure, because to be honest with ourselves if I keep saying I will land a good paying job due to my certificate and All,.

I might just keep waiting and might not move forward and time waits for nobody.

So Nairalanders I need your advise or your opinion do you think I should take this step? , do you think I’m making the right decision?

Am in this same dilemma right now looking around all my mates seems to doing well. Am currently living with a friend who is a DJ and from all indication it seems to be a very paying skill, i must tell you there is so much money in entertainment. I consider learning the skill but my only draw backs is that it so capital intensive that is when i actually want to start getting my own equipment. Am so confused honestly am not this handiwork kind of person

So I was arguing with a friend who stays in the states and he keeps saying I am a rich guy.

Current salary is about 512k per month (take home), and has an annual increment of 15% of your take home. This is aside perks of perdiem anytime I travel outside work base (15k per night).

Anytime he wants me to have minor something done in NG on his bahalf, he expects me to use my money and whenever I ask, he tells me not to complain that I am rich (he knows what I earn), I don't have a problem doing those things for him.

I don't see myself rich and pls guys, what can someone earn in Nigeria to be termed rich. Your opinions will count alot as I still find it hard getting the usual daily stuffs we all use.

i dont know if i should also add my own to it, i lost my mum in 2015 when i was 20 and since then we have been living alone, my dad has a house but i choose to leave after my mum death because i wanted to ve alone. but recently my girlfriend wants me tovmove out and go rent an apartment according to her that's how she feels Independent even though when i take care of the maintainance and every other thing that needs to be done in the house.

am in my mid 20s I'd be 26 precisely this September, i wasn't opportued to learn a skill in my teen because i was the only one assisting my mum then in her business. She died when i was in 300lv i only manage to finish and graduate since then it hasn't been easy. i have finish serving and now no good job is forth coming, just some minor jobs that can barely sustain me. looking around everyone of my age seems to be doing well with some even already getting married am really confused, somehow it just seems like am wasting a way. i have searched internally to see if their is any special talent i have that i can levrage on to make money but i haven't seem to discover any yet. several times i have thought of learning a skill but what's really limiting me is how would i cope before the skill start fetching me money, because i seem to spend money on a daily basics. please i need advice on the kind of skill i can learn and acquaire considering my age be it digital or artisan that can fetch me good money in the long term and also any advice generally. life nor easy the fear of failing in the future scares the shit out of me. i don't want to live the kind of life where my children might want to ask me what I did with my life.
And please if anyone here can help me with a better job am a graduate of biochemistry.
