Tribal warlords, una don start again abi? |
What sort of wickedness is this? Before you eat, drink or test anything, please, make sure you know the person that serve you. If a stranger present any edible to you, observe for suspicious particles, liquid or smell. Immediately you sense any pain, notify a family member, friend or neighbor about your suspicion. If it is a househelp you are skeptical of, let him or her taste the dish before you eat. Don't ask a stranger to buy you food; send somebody you trust. May her soul rest in peace. Amen. www.securitymattersafrica.com |
I smell foul play here. like someone mentioned Were there bruises abrasions or injuries on her body? Does the handwriting match that of the deceased? Was she displaying any sign of depression or was she lively before her death? Many questions begging for answers. www.securitymattersafrica.com |

OP, as a Security Consultant, recovering monies from fraudsters is not an easy task at all. The deed has been done already; but this is what you should do. 1. EFCC doesn't go after fraudulent schemes worth million, they also go after petty crooks too as in your case. Gather all evidence against the said Mr. Nelson and take it to the EFCC. 2. If you know his place of residence, use an Armed Force personnel to hunt him down; it works like magic. The police is what I don't know. 3. If you have a Pastor, Imam or government official or anybody with influence, let them use their influence to get your money back. 4. The last resort for the poor is the court. Get a good lawyer and sue him!. . . Please follow my blog. Still, check my blog on how to spot fraudsters and scammers. I also wrote on the MMM scheme back then. Search the key word 'fraudsters' on my blog at www.securitymattersafrica.com |
Amotekun is the best thing to ever happen to the south west. If well ochestrated, it will go a long way to tame the criminalities in the region. 1. Involve Security Consultants to pertake in the planning processes. 2. Use the Civil Defence to train them in physical combat; I don't think they would be allowed to carry gun, if allowed, then the Police should be involved. 3. Kit them well enough to give the men on the field confidence unlike the Lagos State Neighborhood Watch that is just a toothless bull dog. I suggest some ideas to the commanders of the Lagos outfit, they blatantly jettisoned it. www.securitymattersafrica.com |
Rest in peace to him. Thank God I didn't get the job last year. It is a highly contested job. I won't accept it a second time if offered on a platter of gold. |
LegendHero:A dirty piglet you are. So in your mind it only the Benin people that reside in the south south, right? How will you know when you never travelled outside south west. |
The world is heading for an apocalyse. |
Oh geez. What a confusionist OP. Young men with 'motor' have high sex drive. That means older men have low sex drive abi na. Your assertions does not make sense. |
There we go again . . . chaos and bloodshed everywhere. From the Middle East (terrorism) to Australia (bush fire), to Africa(terrorism). Threat of revenge and counter revenge. The sea pirates are overtly gallant and well equipped. The naval ratings are inexperienced and shouldn't have been deploy to counte the overwhelming threat . . . OK. Here are the solutions: 1. Sea pirates create fear. now, you counter the fear. 2. They have informants. 3. They use sophisticated technology. They navy should install CCTV, drones, aerial flashlighs to expose threats 4. Use excort boats. 5. Ships should avoid dangerous routes . . . www.securitymattersafrica.com m how to defeat sea pirates. Search the for key words . may their souls Rest in Peace. amin |
I am currently reading Tim Lahaye, Why You Act The Way You Do. The 8th Habit by Stephen R. Covey is a must. The Rule of Management by Richard Templar is another. The first quarter of the year has heralded a gloomy atmosphere. So much to expect. First, it was the attack by Iran on a U.S. base. Now, Al Shabab attack at another U.S. base along the Kenya border. This goes to show that the U.S. has stepped on so many toes; created so many enemies with a successions of presidents. The Arab world especially the oil rich arabs are sponsoring so many terrorist groups. The arabs want to see the downfall of the almighty U.S.A and it will go to any length to achieve that aim. The US should brace up. I wrote an article about the 5 likely wars to expect in coming years at www.securitymattersafrica.com |
You see, when a country treats terrorists with kid gloves, they (terrorists) become so emboldened, so powerful; and deploy the best tactics at their disposal to wreck havoc both at the citizens and state alike. Boko Haram is a stubborn virus that started like a harmless injury, but is now a dangerous, unstoppable and perpetual anti-friendly disease. it will take a miracle to defeat boko haram for good. A lot of enemies of the state, who are beneficiaries will frustrate the efforts of the state. 1. The State must forgo tribalism and deal thoroughly with those sabotaging the efforts 2. Equip the troops with top notch gears and gadgets, coupled with state of the art weaponry. 3. Create a troop which instill fear in the enemies. 4. Use intel to get one step ahead of the enemies. 5. Appoint a Chief of Army Staff who is competent and anti tribal to combat this monster. www.securitymattersafrica.com |
safarigirl:I used to think so too especially the feminist part. But, babe you are the most down to earth person. Your intelligent discussions to topics is unparallelled. You rock! |
The most useless forum ever! I have been posting articles on safety and security; never seen the light of the day. Kudos OP. Nice tips you have there. |
In life, you have to be grateful for what you have than what you don't. I always ask myself, 'what legacy am I leaving for my kids unborn?' 2019 is the most fulfilled year ever. Thank God I was able to take my blog to the level it is today even when people urged me to chose a niche on entertainment. Thank you Lord for my NGO, Project PASS. I will take it to the next level come 2020. Lord from the bottom of my heart, heal me of my over-blotted ego and my un-controlled anger. Oh, Lord give a wifey that understand me and accept me for my flaws, Lord nurture my dreams. lord give me grace. Question is: if I die today, what will people remember me for? #2020 #BlazingTrail |
Some of these banks prefer to put square pegs in round holes. They won't beef up their bank premises with enough security until the inevitable happens. There is an insider informant in the bank. The bank refused to invest in a good security outfit. The bank refused to do a monthly or quarterly assessment of the security apparatus: change the guards, mobile police on a quarterly basis. No staffers should carry phones during working hours. Invest in security gadgets. Frisk customers with hand-held scanners, use vehicle mirrors to search thoroughly. Use fish eye CCTVs to detect suspects. www.securitymattersafrica.com |
OP, kudos to you for trying to senitize a corrupt system. As a security consultant, the Serial Oscars (Security Officers) are poorly paid and as such the teachers are bribing them handsomely. This is what you should do. 1. Don't fall for the teachers gimmicks. Stand your ground. Moreover, apply the carrot and stick approach. 2. Reward hardwork and punish indiscipline. 3. Prepare a new memo stating the mission statement the school stand for; her rules and regulations and the consequences of breaking such rules. 4. Get close to few of the teachers and tell them to pass info about who are the bad influences in the schools. 5. Since you said some of the teachers are close to your parents, your parents can play a part too. Check my blog for all things security at www.securitymattersafrica.com |
The law is no respecter of any man. nobody is superior to the law. He thought because he is the son of a king he will get away with anything. And that fo*l took a mere 6000 naira to terminate a life. He who lived by the sword; die by the double edged sword. |
All I can say is GBEGEH! |

Take a deep breath, relax and calm your nerves: you are hurt. I know he verbally abused and constantly demean you. However, I see revenge on the horizon. You are in emotional pain and it is getting the better part of you. Let me share a similar story of my aunt. When my aunt got married some years ago, her husband was doing well, with a good paying job. My aunt on the other hand, was an O level holder and very naive and young too. The husband began to abuse her physically and emotionally. He would taunt her to no end, calling her demeaning names. Meanwhile, the husband too wasn't a graduate but was lucky to be working for a multinational. Fast forward years later. She sponsored herself through school and got a job as well. The husband eventually lost his job. My aunt vow to avenge what the husband did to her: that she did until he passed on last year. the children never forgave her till this day. Is that the legacy you want to leave behind for your children? Think about it. www.securitymattersafrica.com |
Why not! You just have to work harder. Maintain distinctions in all your courses. Again, it depends on the level you are too. If you are in 300 level, it might be difficult though. Goodluck. |
The craze for wealth is forcing people to do all sort of weird stuff. Moreover, the number of herbalists arrested is huge. The people patronizing them are of charismatic reputations. Perhaps, these respected figures had promised them (herbalists) protection from high places. Nigerians should be weary of people they tend to trust; trust no one: your Imam, Pastors, Reverends, Alfas might not be who he claimed to be on face value. Be vigilant. Inform your parents, guardians, spouses, lovers, etc of your movements. Always charge your phones before leaving home. Don't forget to tell your love ones about your present location too. Please, don't attach tribalistic or religious sentiment here. Thank you. CRIME IS NO RESPECTER OF TRIBE! www.securitymattersafrica.com |
What will the future hold for our youths? Will the women find enough men to marry in the future? The question is, what is pulling our youths to fraudulent activities? Is it just laziness or sheer desperation? Something tangible must be done by the government to put a stop to this menace. ASAP! www.securitymattersafrica.com |
It is very simple. You have a girlfriend you said. Let your girl friend come and stay with you or tell her you have a girl friend. Or do you want to dump your girl friend? |
