From the comments I'm confused are Nigerians celebrating that he has been discharged and acquitted or what? If he carried out orders to murder someone then he is an accomplice to murder and should not be acquitted. If one is arguing that his sentence to death for being an accomplice is too much of a verdict it is a different matter oh but that someone was an accomplice to murder and people are saying he only followed orders so should be acquitted must be a joke oh. If that is how the law works then we can all get away with anything. Oh my beloved country I am lost oh I don't understand our ways anymore let alone our thoughts. |
Seriously? so we are just the 8th oh thank God after the stunt our president pulled the other day (Alams pardon) I thought we would forever remain number one. My people forget am a lot of Nigerians are ready and willing to sell their souls for a few thousands we are seeing it everyday. In fact the young generation na im carry the cup oh but na our fathers teach them. In fact democracy in Nigeria even made it worse |
Common guys this unnecessary war is becoming too much. I think we are trying to draw too many conclusions The man said ''why should he be insulting my mother''. He didn't say Patience abi is patience his mother? please educate me oh I think tribalism and ethnicity will tear Nigeria apart. I think ours is a unique country with over 200 tribes with different languages, cultures and values forced to live together. to make matters worse religious differences come add join on top the tribal wahala na wow what can we do to save ourselves from this terrible situation now? Please Nigerian youths let us try and unite and fight these politicians who are bent on destroying Nigeria. |
Once upon a time there was a president of Nigeria called Obasanjo he ruled for 8 years and received so many insults (from both non-yorubas and yorubas) and no support from his region and guess what he didn't die infact he continued to annoy them, when he nursed a third term agenda oh my the whole country went crazy and fought against it (Most tribes). What is the moral of the story please everyone should learn to put aside emotions and sentiments and always fight for what is right and true. |
Na wow oh this GEJ supporters mean business oh and I know most of them are from the Niger delta region. please you guys should stop criticizing and insulting the president the people of Niger delta will die from defending their own oh and I don't blame them me too I'm from a tribe considered as minority and if a president finally comes from my tribe the natural behavior will be to always defend the person no matter what even though I will hope to fight that natural behavior sha because I am strongly against tribal sentiments. My advice to GEJ supporters please accept these criticisms in good faith rather than be defensive all the time at least now you know how it feels to be on the other side of the coin, I'm sure you have also criticized other presidents. |
If you really want to know bet me you have asked on the wrong forum. I advise you to look for someone from Rivers state who has reliable information about politics in the state( I have come to realize that usually the wives of many politicians have this info), and who tries as much as possible to be objective at all times and not swayed by tribal, ethnic and religious sentiments(Believe me it is almost impossible to find such a person in Nigeria) and then ask the person. Otherwise Nigerians just make speculations and accusations based on whatever they are told even without facts. The media is usually confused or messed up as well so won't advise you to believe everything you read. Also remember politicians will only tell you the part that will get them sympathy so you can see it is difficult to always know the truth about issues life is full of deceit. |
Haven't made up my mind about the song but I think the beat is really cool sounds like an infusion of all sorts of African beats https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFnPkUnArrA |
For all those calling him a terrorist can you provide the evidence? If it is so evident that he supports terrorist let our present competent president and his colleagues bring him to justice now. Naija we are kings at hurling accusations at people and most of the time without any facts whatsoever. I heard however that during his regime he was really strict and Nigerians were disciplined. For me sha he is too old so he should go and rest and forget about ruling this country they enjoyed this country but are now watching it decay. As for GEJ I'm sorry I am yet to see or benefit from any meaningful achievement so please both men will receive absolutely no support from me in 2015. If they want to rig they can go ahead but I will not be swayed by tribal and religious sentiments. I will only support any man I identify has the passion to move Nigeria forward whether he is from south, west, north or east, Christian or muslim and I have my checklist of what I tag as moving Nigeria forward so will be watching. My father will tell you that Nigeria changed drastically from Good to Worse starting in 1986 (you know who was in power now) he says he cannot believe where we are now. Anyways nice write up by the way, I usually don't have the patience to read their biographies or history but you made it interesting. |
LOL I laugh at all the Nigerians supporting all these sorry politicians (GEJ, Amaechi, reps, senators etc) after all is said and done we will all sit in our houses without electricity, run our generators and pollute the environment, still go to bed with one eye open and shaking at the slightest sound, send our kids to poor quality schools, drive on roads filed with potholes, and the list is endless while they will continue to send their kids to schools abroad, fly in and out of the country at the slightest opportunity. And all we can do is insult each other over people that we should boot out of office? Kai I think we all need our brains examined. What happened in that house of assembly is unbelievably embarrassing. I cannot fathom why everyone lost their sense of decorum because I was not there but one thing I can say is that do not be quick to judge because the heart of a man is desperately wicked and no man can know it. All the people giving accounts and saying why these things are happening believe me you have no clue and I'm sure you are all far from the truth so please rest your cases and let us rise up and fight to save our nation from rascals and people who are only in power for their personal gain. We are the only ones who can fight for ourselves. We will hear so many accounts of this story in the next days to come and the truth will never be told but believe me after all is said and done Nigeria needs to move forward and we cannot move forward like this. |
Ok which version are we supposed to believe now? Can we have the video if any? When we keep voting rascals into office this is what we will continue to get. Since democracy returned to Nigeria under every regime there is always a troubled governor of the year. I think Ameachi has won that title in this dispensation LOL. Kai God I don vex for Naija issue tire now I go just dey laff that's the only way to be remain sane. GEJ and colleagues (governors, senators, reps) remember not only murderers will burn in hell oh. |
When will the police and military officers let us have peaceful protests in Nigeria? These guys don't understand that we need to rise up and fight. They are the ones who always come and turn the protest from peaceful to chaos, all they need to do is just move along to ensure no one gets out of hand but no when they come they threaten people and before you know it they begin to scare people with tear gas and voila wahala starts |
Madam there are several solutions to the problem and I believe you are in a good position to move towards the right direction. How long are we going to continue singing this song about unemployment? Yes we know there is unemployment and we keep hearing about job creation but you and I know the people that end up getting the jobs (that is if any at all). I will tell you the first solution to our problems- ELECTRICITY we need it like mad. With electricity will come the liberation of Nigerians. Young people can begin to think of setting up their businesses. I had the opportunity to write a business plan recently and in my financial estimations it was mind blowing the amount of money I will have to spend on generating electricity this alone makes it almost impractical for me to start this business. I also had the opportunity to be enrolled in an internship with a small company in Europe and the company is being supported by a business incubator. We can do it Madam Okonjo Iweala these countries who are doing this are not richer than us we are 1000 times richer than them so why cant we do these things. My suggestions 1. Collaborate with your colleagues (presidency, ministers, governors, senators etc) to solve electricity problems. 2. Launch a detailed and extensive business incubator scheme. 3. Collaborate with your colleagues to cut down all the unnecessary or exorbitant allowances. And believe me you will no longer have sleepless nights. |
abeg make una free this man make we hear word jare Is this the first time a president will be opposed by his so-called regional mate or whatever you guys want to call it. Obasanjo received almost no support from almost the entire region he came from and he did not die so please make we hear word about GEJ and Amaechi. Mr PDP chairman or whatever abeg if you want to be in the president's good books so you too can chop do so quietly as if we don't know why you are whining. |
Not a bad initiative but organizers in my opinion have taken a wrong approach. I believe kids should have as much fun as they can as children after all when they become adults like us the suffer head go too much na the enjoyment wey dey enjoy for childhood na im go dey motivate them. Now organizers haven't you heard about fund raising or sponsorship? You should have raised funds or sought for sponsors for the event and then charged a lower fee or no fee for the kids to come and have a nice time with the artistes at the same time boosting your company's PR rather than charge a whooping sum of 10k and then the kids whose parents can afford it will not let those whose parents couldn't afford hear word na wow for una oh |
Enough of this rubbish. When we vote people we should tell them our expectations and not the other way round. Questions 1. which of these officers has met our expectations? Answer is simple- Absolutely NONE . 2. Are there some TRYING to meet expectations? Yes but very few. (emphasis on the word trying to) 3. Are these efforts worthy of applaud? Absolutely NOT. 4. Why? Nigeria is blessed with resources and we should all be living like kings with basic amenities (electricity, water, Good health care). As long as no one is enjoying this in Nigeria then all the officers have FAILED. Solution: Nigerians rise up and begin to demand results and stop fooling yourselves. Egypt is at it again. why can't we do the same and rise up? |
Congrats Ice prince. Personally you are not the best African act to me oh I'm surprised, but if you have been voted as the best then so shall it be. |
So that when something goes wrong the doctors can tell his family to take heart it was God's will? not trying to downplay Nigerian doctors expertise in fact I think they are doing very well considering the state of our hospitals it must be very difficult for them but believe me the number of people who die from 'minor ailments' is disheartening and makes every one afraid |
Nomoreless please can you stop publishing the names of those that have contributed? You can publish the names when you have all the money and make it final. Your broadcasting the names of donors is exactly what is causing the problem. Fans or supporters of some celebrities in a bid to make them look good can easily start the rumors. SO please keep the names to yourselves you can however update on how much has been received. Also advise the celebrities donating not to broadcast on twitter or other networks. |
Why are we so Judgmental? Someone was chased and shot and people just conclude that it was a drug deal gone wrong? This is stereotyping of the highest order. Let me tell you human beings are the same everywhere be it an American, Ghanaian, Nigerian, Filipino, Indian, Kenyans name it the only differentiating factor is the price/consequences you have to pay for breaking the law. For the countries where the laws are enforced the human beings are forced to comply but I bet you put these same humans in the countries where the laws are not enforced and you will see what will happen. Please stop the stereotyping it is totally wrong. |
Juliet Ibrahim if you have a problem with the price then don't donate it's not by force. Someone is in need and all people can think about is the way assistance is being sought? Have you been in dire need before and had no one to turn to? You have no idea how that can be. If you feel so strongly about it you are a celebrity too ask for a breakdown of the cost or the quote and stop trying to dissuade others. And for the people asking why he can't afford 15 million na wow for una oh this guy is a music producer not a politician. Please those that can help should do so while those that are not willing to or cannot should just keep quiet simple. |
Every day I read comments from Nigerians about issues in our beloved country and I actually feel like weeping more over the comments than even the issue at hand. Our hearts are filled with so much hatred for each other. Tribalism and religion has clouded our judgments and objectivity so much that we don't even know where we are headed. No one stops to think before saying anything all we think of first is this person na our person. Now let me ask some simple questions with some possible answers (in capital) 1. is this the first time governors are meeting with the presidency?- NO 2. If this is not the first time governors are meeting with the presidency then don't you think all the Governors know all the protocols that should be observed when they meet with the presidency?- I'M SURE THEY DO 3. So if they know all the protocols why will Amaechi go out of his way to break the protocol? - WE DONT KNOW IF THERE IS ANY SUCH PROTOCOL AS CLAIMED OR IF THERE IS WE DO NOT KNOW WHY AMAECHI WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO BREAK IT THEY ARE ALL POLITICIANS AND WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT GAMES THEY ARE PLAYING 4. Is Amaechi the only Governor that approached the president? I DONT KNOW 5. Assume it is a protocol, why didn't Amaechi wait to try again before leaving the dinner? I DONT KNOW 6. What was the purpose of the Dinner? I DONT KNOW 7. Why has the presidency not called the governor's to order over this shameful chairman showdown? WE ALL HAVE OUR DIFFERNT ANSWERS And the questions can go on and on. Now what am I trying to say let us learn to analyze issues critically because all parties will only tell you the part they want you to hear or part that will gain them sympathy or support. Let us stop supporting party but rather men whom we have identified can make a difference. Common Nigerians we are intelligent let us use it to move our nation forward rather than let scheming politicians deceive us all the time. |
This is so embarrassing so they are still fighting over who is the chairman? Lord save us from Anarchy and Doom |
If I remember correctly the bond is for visitors requesting for six months visa abi am I wrong? So if you are a visitor requesting for one month then it shouldn't be a problem right? Look most of these countries are just tired of Nigerians, Indians etc so they are looking for all means to prevent us from coming to their countries unnecessarily so why don't we look inwards and make Nigeria what it should be so that people can stop trying to go out. It's a pity that as a Nigerian you need a visa to go virtually everywhere even if you just want to go for one week. Many nationals don't need visas to go to several places as long as they are not staying more than 3 months but Not for we Naija. Let us admit it a lot of Nigerians have abused the systems and messed up so we all need to suffer for it. IF the Govt. feels like reciprocating of course I support that big time but please let us not focus on retaliating but on Building Nigeria for goodness sake we are richer than a lot of these countries and should not be begging to enter their countries NAIJA wake up. |
It's Jesse Jagz Nation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfsmGJfBB5w Me thinks this is good music. What do you think? |
I bet other EU countries will do same but good for us we need to wake up and begin to demand results from the Government rather than fight amongst ourselves. One thing I have come to learn the European countries do not like themselves but when it comes to uniting to stand against other continents they do so seamlessly but we Naija all we do is fight (Tribal, religion) we cannot even be united as a nation |
Human beings we are soooooo quick to judge people (me inclusive) why? I remember reading about tuface's donation this morning and all the hailing he received and insults Don jazzy received. Truth is the guy needs help and I think the people that donate or how much they donate should not be our concern. Most celebrities are perceived to have a lot of money but in truth a lot do not though their lifestyles portray otherwise, I'm pretty sure a lot of them get a lot of stuff from goodwill (cars, expensive wines, watches etc). What am I trying to say please stop judging these celebrities you may be doing so unjustly. Nomoreless please stop revealing the names of those who have donated or have not. We pray for more donations and successful transplant. |
Trust me even if you had said all those things you would have spoken the whole truth and nothing but the truth about Nigeria. So no hard feelings at all from Nigerians except from the guilty of course. |
maryjames9: I feel tribalism has eaten so deep into a lot of nigerian youth that we just cant help condemning anyone who is not same tribe. Why should everytn be about Igbo vs yoruba. Tinubu/Fashola vs Jonathan, Pdp vs Apc. Musa vs Emenike. Now it is Dbanj vs Psquare. Some bigots will even defend Lucifer so long he appeared in d shape of a fellow tribe.God Bless you. You took the words right out of my mouth. I tire for Naija oh we cant even support each other just tearing each other down over tribal, regional and religious sentiments Gosh I sometimes wonder why we are deceiving ourselves that we are one country. I am pretty sure that 95% of the people who said they didn't like the song and started comparing P square and D banj are not IBOS same thing with Dbanj's finally song the people who said they didn't like it and started comparing with Don Jazzy are not YORUBA'S which kind country be this now Kai I tire oh. |
justsayemma: D video is CWho Cares they are both Nigerians and we are proud of them why do we hate ourselves so much? And please tell me who doesn't copy in this world. Please this is not a comparison between D banj and P square thread. |
Lovely and quality video. This is my kind of video a lot of dance moves and no blinding light effects BRAVO P square BRAVO. The Michael Jackson moves were also very perfect. People say you copy but believe me even though you copy you guys are blessed with turning it into your show and style. |
The D banj and DOn Jazzy fight on Nairaland is too much oh. As far as am concerned I repeat their break up has not favored both (I'm not talking in terms of money). But for me It is now 2:1 Dbanj:Don Jazzy since the break up (Dbanj- Oyato and Finally)- (Don Jazzy- The kick). So D banj in the lead for now. Lol |
Yes FINALLY our Dbanj is Back. Correct jam we are glad to have you back FINALLY. |
