One of those boys will be dropped for Elderson but I really don't see him as a starter in Russia...
I pray this does not happen....
I will seriously blame rohr for this...ineptitude

This is exactly what I'm driving at. That's why I mentioned the best legs making the cut and not because some certain players are good friends.
sometimes you need team bond and spirit to make things happen in a tourney like the world cup.....not necessarily just talents...
when there is team spirit and good relationships amongst players....it makes for a good play on the field...

Because of their relationship, no
you're just hovering round the bush..

you should be concerned on elderson making the cut...because right now..
Aina and idowu seems to be better...
when it is talked on...taking the best legs to Russia....your thought should be centered on how elderson gonna make the list...if merit was to be pursued and not this two cute lads...playing good football

TheSuperNerd don't want BP but couldn't take it any longer, Mujtahida said Kog45 relax your mind but i cannot cos am seeing keeper as our major obstacles at WC
I will still prefer uzoho in goal @ the world cup....
you see that ezenwa...him always rushing out of his goal line...and his height gonna gift away plenty goals @ the world cup...
if messi could explore chelsea's goal keeper weakness trust him to do same to ezenwa who always rushing out...and his height gonna help messi and other dead ball specialist to place balls at unreachable angle for ezenwa....

we really need to wake up...especaliy those convassing for ezenwa...his weakness gonna be our greatest undermine at this world cup.......

U can cut it to 300mb grin .. Just start watching like 10 mins to first half and 10 mins to 2nd half.. grin .. That mobdro app is amazing though.. assuming there were Free WiFi spots in major areas on Nigeria, lots of people would have dump dstv
it is easy....should you have any mtn sim you've not used for the past 45 days...recharge it with #500 above...
you will get over #4000 worth of airtime for data only...charged @ #5/MB and gonna also give #2000 for voice calls...with that you can stream wit...watch the match or you subscribe at least #500-#1000 data plan....it won't cost much @all....something everyone can afford.

that's my only route...because even with the quantity of GB I have on my GLO sim I still can't watch the match...because network is very bad....only MTN can be of help.

My Oga pls try and read the post again cos it was stated that the club don't have the cash to make the deal permanent.
I am deeply concerned...regarding his willingness to remain a Chelsea player...when it is obvious for all to see that Chelsea don't have him in their plans...
he keep extending his contract season after season.......then Chelsea offload him on loan to a championship or a Turkish club...

he should seek a permanent leave...

EXCLUSIVE: Turkish club can't afford Chelsea loanee Omeruo
https://africanfootball.com//bp_images/2016/03/Samm_21_July_5.jpg
Omeruo signs for Kasimpasa on loan from Chelsea last year

by Samm Audu

Turkish club Kasimpasa will not sign Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo on a permanent transfer at the end of this season, AfricanFootball.com can exclusively reveal.

Omeruo has shone in Turkey, featuring in 18 matches and Kasimpasa are eighth on the Turkish Super Lig table.

Kasimpasa have the option to sign him permanently, but sources told AfricanFootball.com the modest Istanbul club do not have the cash for that and would rather want to have him on loan again for another season.

“Kasimpasa don’t have the money to buy Omeruo outrightly at the end of the season. They rather want another loan for the player and it may now mean the player will have to return to Chelsea,” a source informed AfricanFootball.com

Omeruo still has two more years on his contract at Premier League champions and if there is no agreement between ‘The Blues’ and Kasimpasa, the 22-year-old central defender will return to Stamford Bridge at season’s end.

He has already been shipped out on loan by Chelsea to Dutch ADO Den Haag and English Championship side Middlesbrough.

I don't think it's a good thing to just give them a slot in the team. Such actions can cause bitterness in the team. So who would lose his place for them now? Na so dem good reach? I even think it's too late in the day for them to be part of our WC team. Post WC, maybe
woe betide that nff official promising them a world cup slot....
so the other players battling for the slots..are not good enough...if the Germans desire the slots...let them fight fr it...
even aina we manage convince is battling for his....

I expect the nff to have talked them to believe they stand a brighter chance of playing in the national team should they opt for Nigeria...and that we need them at this point of time...so as to see to the realisation of our long term project of building a formidable team....
we should be realistic wit our approach.....
and not promise them a world cup slot....they're not better than the ones we have only coming to compliment them...

all being said...I will prefer have them in the team after the world cup....

and please someone should tell the nff...in the sojourn to lure English kids...Tammy and Ibe should be left out of it...we don't need those 2.

Congo4ka I've been thinking of starting a series to add spice to the build up to the WC. Just as TheSuperNerd has set an alarm clock that tick tocks towards the D-day. I'm thinking of a series like from say 50 days to the tournament to make short daily infotaining posts about Russia, to drop interesting tidbits about Russia, from their culture, history, important characters in Russian history, their literature, music, arts, geography, food, architecture including special highlights of the stadiums and host cities with each short post accompanied by pictures to make it vivid and colourful. I'm mentioning you cos you said you familiar with Russia and also tbaba1234 cos he's perfect at giving short quipy posts. Fifty days to the tourny it should begin.
nice one I think I will learn something from this...I meet wit a Russian recently...I was quite not too happy being that I couldn't talk to him about some interesting things about his country...I have always done this with the foreigners I meet....but that day...I had no unique knowledge about Russia to pour out to him....

so I think this suggestion gonna boast my knowledge bank and also the fact that I am quite into geography and anthropology...

Matic is a better DM than Mikel ever was. He successfully converted to DM from AM something which Mikel didn't do too well
when was matic when mikel was in his prime?
where was matic when mikel was bossing Chelsea midfield in the era of champions league glory and Europa...?
where was matic when mikel at a very young age...one of the most difficult to pleased manager in the world...could not so away without him....in the midst of array od seasoned midfielders(ballack, lampard, essien, joeCole, markele, etc )..he could find a place to slot him in.

was playing and getting some minutes in Chelsea....at that age.

Most of our best performing players past and present have one time or another played in England, so you think Komekn is without justification in implying that till date our best legs are in the EPL?

Not that I support Komekn's constant appraisal of the EPL, but only when we have a higher ratio of players in other leagues compared to those from the EPL, can I rightly stand against Komekn.

What has the musical artists I mentioned got to do with all of these? well we've dragged in the English press, government and their lifestyle into discussions in the past, why not talk about music when holistically, it's seen here everything English is mediocre.

Oh, and I forgot to mention a certain Jacob Banks, another young English chap (naija born) whose music is gaining global recognition.
you're just beating round the Bush.....
just feel free to state your view...rather than clingin to the blame game...accusing folks of berating the epl and England...

I don't understand why some of us here are not straightforward.

no one is sayn that our best legs are not in England...but our best legs are not solely restricted or living only in England... just same way you can view the sun from any spot....likewise our best players are litered in Europe....
you guys need to break loose from that parochial mindset......and begin to view thing holistically.

the best legs can be majorly in England....elsewhere we have them too.

as regard music....common sense should teach us... that we are concerned wit music...made in English language because it's official language....
same way a nation like Senegal will priortize the French songs over any in other languages....

moreover...those musicians you mentioned I dont even know them...because i play only gospel songs...and they are mainly from the USA, Nigeria and Australia.....
so it is relative...

I made this post last year November and I can see that we're still talking down the quality of EPL, when in the real sense of it y'all ain't got nothing on Komekn, so long as we have this much players from the EPL.

I can see we've all giving into the not totally truthful assertion that anything English is mediocre and average, including their music, a country where the likes of Adele, Tinnie tempah, Stormzy, Sade, Seal, Lemar, Olly Murs, Emeli Sande and the rest come from.
please who is talking down the quality of the epl?
if not for komekn always belittling other leagues....no one here will point to the epl weakness.....

please how does those musician names you mentioned relate to football?

please try direct this to komekn who delights in hyping the epl and looking down on players plying their trade elsewhere....

what many likes about bazee is because he is like an assist king....iwobi kind of player.

of course we ain't gonna loose kalu to any nation...but you see bazee, eze, deji etc should we act slow we may loose them to their birth nations....
we just have to cap them on time.....and then we move on from there.....I really believe had otigba played in the last Olympics for Nigeria....he won't have been in Hungary now....a more better club would have call for his service.

national team recognition have a way of boasting players careers...
I think same thing happened to ekong...and awaziem...if not they won't have been recognised this way in Europe.
