To say Akpeyi is only better than Ezenwa in the area of PK sounds strange.
All the same, let the friendlies come so we see who's prepared among them. somehow: One PK? Hmm not enough to rate him on.

Ogu had two solid games against Algeria and Argentina, meaning Ogu is ahead but now a talented midfielder in Joel Obi is coming in and barely injury the guy is solid meaning any of Ogu,Etebo and Agu could be dropped if they don't measure up Agu should be dropped. plain and simple.... |

Kog45: OK if that's the case Ajiboye should be on his way to Russia as penalty keeper not necessarily to be the first or second choice just for penalties, another scenario of Enyeama coming off for Aiyenugba when it comes to penalties.but i don't believe in this idea.
Sir i think we need balance keeper who would give us good 90 mins and solid when it comes to penalty decision during the course of a match or penalties shootouts. in the last world cup tourney... Luis Van gal (LVG) had same players in his team.... I r ememeber the match they played in the round of 16 or 8 I can't vividly remember though... |

If Ogu can build up on Algeria and Argentina performance then he is sure but with recent call of Joel Obi then Ogu, Etebo and Agu need to double their efforts. should etebor continue wit his display in la liga....he will hardly be dropped... it will be diffivult to drop such a player |

Kog45: I think a good performance at WC would shape our keepers especially number one,so keeper like Uzoho can even move to a better club as number one you're right sir... a good performance will project them in good light....especially the young goalies amongst them... uzoho stand a better chance reason because he is already wit a European club...many clubs aviod doing business wit Nigeria clubs and happen to look down on Africa based goal keepers....it will be a plus on uzoho that he is already undergoing football lessons wit a good European club side. |

tbaba1234: Uzoho was the third choice for Depor.. He is still a rookie
Martinez is the third choice for Arsenal, he is still a rookie.
The difference with this two is that they are still playing games for the youth teams and reserve sides.
Musa was playing with the under 23 instead of staying idle. Rohr specifically asked Leicester to allow Musa play for the under 23s instead of being idle. it is disheartening to read some of my brothers here....downgrade Spanish division 3 league....same league I believe is better organised than the npfl, managed wit good stadia, players progression and training facilities. |

Kog45: What an insightful comment.I never thought of this and to be candid you are not far from truth.
1.Peter Rufai was the first keeper to travel out for professional career, first with Dragon of Benin and moved to Lokeren in Belgium later Go ahead eagles in dutch league, fareinse in Portugal and Deportivo LA coruna in Spain.
2.Wilfred Agbonavbare moved from BCC lion of Gboko straight to Rayo Vallecano as number one and had a great time in la iga, remain the best Nigerian keeper in LA liga history followed by Peter Rufai who also had a stay with Deportivo LA coruna.
3.Alloy Agu moved from ACB if am right straight to starting eleven of MVV Maastricht in dutch league and had a great years before moving to Turkish league.
4.Ademola Bankole moved from shooting star to English championship club as number one and was damn good for his club, remain only local breed to move to England and command regular shirt as a keeper.
5.Ike Shorunmu moved from shooting star straight to swiss giant fc grasshopper as number one and was very solid for the club
6.Murphy Akanji the father of Dortmund and Switzerland CB Manuel Akanji moved from Julius Berger straight to Malta as number one and almost keep for Malta national team but already cap by Nigeria.
7.Willy Opara moved from Nigeria league straight to Orlando pirates as a starter for long before he quit the game.
8.Peterside Idah moved from Iwauyanwu nationals straight to south Africa league as number one
9.Greg Etafia moved from here and team up with marrowka swallo as number one before he quit the game now one of the technical member of the team.
10.Vincent Enyeama moved from Nigeria and command a regular shirt for his club in Isreal for so long before moving to French league also as number one.
11.Austin Ejide left Nigeria straight to Do sahel as number one and later to Bastia in French division two before moving to Isreal,in all these sojourn he was a regular now in Isreali second division.
12.Dele Aiyenugba moved from Enyimba and replaced Enyeama in his former club as number one for so long and still active as number one in Isreali league till dates.
13.Sunday Rotimi left plateau united straight to Isreali second division league as number one and came back home when the team got relegated meaning no space for thorough professional in division three. He came home spent a season and moved back and spent another three seasons before returning to NPFL and still remain solid.
14.Daniel Akpeyi moved from Nigeria league and straight as number one of chippa united in South Africa league, presently eagles keeper.
15.Dele Ajiboye from Nigeria to Spanish division three and command regular shirt until he moved back to Nigeria and sort his career out with shooting star,Nasarawa united and now with Plateau united, presently one of the five Rohr is considering, good decision for him to come back instead of wasting in division four league.
16.Ghanian international Edward Ansah was so solid with Leventis United for many years but went straight to claim Ghana number one keeper ahead of his Europe based counterparts, just to tell us talents abound in Nigeria league.
17.Fataou Dauda another Ghana international in Nigeria league and doing well with Enyimba.
Mike, truly Nigeria goalkeeping future is bleak with our keepers keeping for reserve teams and youth teams in Europe.
Presently Uzoho is number four cos Deportivo recently got another keeper on loan from Russia league instead of promoting the young lad to the main team.
Alampasu third keeper in Portuguese league after some years with the club not encouraging.
Well Maduka is still growing cos we don't know what future hold for him being a German which will definitely shape his future.
Honestly i don't think these guys are better than what we have at home but do we blame Rohr cos Alloy Agu failed to produce a solid keeper for the team if not how on earth will Super eagles be chasing goalkeepers who are under tutelage for Eagles. you see why...you always have my respect. your knowledge of this round leather game is top notch.... sir...I will still advise uzoho to still remain in deportivo reason because he still has much to learn and moreover his team is in top 3 in Spanish division 3 meaning there is the possibility of promotion for his team... I believe if he should play good football in Spanish division 2 he may get noticed by a good club not just in Spain may be elsewhere in Europe....he still young and there is still much he needs to learn. and regarding alampasu....he should seek for a move elsewhere....probably in Europe or go for a loan may be wit a Nigeria club side.... I still believe right there in nigeria league we have good goal keepers....alloy agu and co have not really done their homework well... I believe if we can get the likes of enyeama from the local league likewise we can get other good goalies too.....they abound... all the managers need do...is to search with an unbiased mind. |

Kog45: Pls try and read my original comment then you would understand better coz sometimes am always lost here,i thought we are here for football analysis and discussion.
I think am not Rohr who said inactive Alampasu is among the five keepers is considering for WC,pls be logical on this,am i Rohr who named him,so what a fuss.
It seems some don't even understand why we are here, takes things personally and always emotive and sentimental in their thinking as if we are here to fight.
Pls am very sorry to say this, have been following Eagles since 1980 so i just don't talk or saying anything for sake of it.
Ask icon4s or goldfish80, am always against Alampasu calling cos i believe so much on Akpeyi until Argentina match that i changed my mind. elder we are not at rift now... I once told a friend of mine who is a feminist....that i will.be so elated and fulfilled if I sit to watch my wife make waves on the TV... my wife success is not a threat to my success but rather....a blessing to me... her success I will strive for and I celebrate wit her...I will want her be the best she can be...and attain goals she ever dreamt of. mind you...many men out there share same dreams...and will never impede their wives progress. |

trustyshoess: Life is simple. Since you want a maid for a wife, find a dependent submissive woman who's willing to be at your beck and call, cooking and slaving while you watch tv. There are many of them out there. Leave the independent women who refuse to do that alone! Afterall, you can't marry every woman so select the one that's right for you. These women will find men who understand them. Stop complaining this feminist thing has taken over you...to the extent that you could barely pass a reasonable message across.... |

TheSuperNerd: Young Eintracht Frankfurt LB Deji Beyreuther : I Model My Game After David Alaba
https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/66607Deji.png
Young Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Deji Beyreuther is making inroads at the Bundesliga club and is poised to make his first-team debut sooner rather than later. The 18-year-old was a non-playing substitute when the first team tackled Mainz and Schweinfurt 05 in the league and cup respectively back in October 2017.
Deji's leadership qualities should be taken note of as he skippered Eintracht Frankfurt U19s in the A-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest games against FC Augsburg and SC Freiburg this month.
In a brief chat with allnigeriasoccer.com , Deji said: ''My father is from Nigeria, my mother is German. Nobody has contacted me from Germany or Nigerian to play for their national teams. I played for FSV Frankfurt before I joined Eintracht Frankfurt.
''I am a left-back. I model my game after David Alaba, I want to play the same way he plays. ''
Deji Beyreuther was delighted to sign a professional contract with Eintracht Frankfurt earlier in the season, saying : ''I signed a professional contract last year, it will expire in 2021.''
The offensive left-back has been directly involved in seven goals (3 goals, 4 assists) in 21 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt U19s since his debut.
