realpoacher: You all rooting for North Africans to excel at the Mundial are living in "fools paradise" ...
People that only flatter to deceive
Na for only Africa and their Home ground they get mouth
Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia all of them na big flops for world stage
North Africans can't beat even Tahiti convincingly not to talk more of Sweden, not to talk more of Spain or Portugal. Tunisia here is the worst culprit.
I will rather put my money on Togo or Angola or Zambia to give Africa a better performance if they are going to the world Cup than those pretenders.
I really wish they prove me wrong this year sha! please let today be the last time you will quote me... it seems you don't know how to pass your point across without resulting to insults...the fact that we all comment does not mean you should expect every one to reason same way wit you.... we all don't think alike...and don't expect me to pitch tenth wit you...and because I don't does not make you wiser.... |

modified: Shola and Uchebo also had decent games in some of our preWorld Cup matches, just that they didnt get enough time to impact on the world cup.
That said rewatch the Bosnia game and see just how vital Shola's introduction was, he held up the ball brilliantly which decent game has uchebo? you mean the goal against Scotland...? apart from that goal...he played trash that day.... how he made the team over imoh Ezekiel who despite being a second striker for his team in Belgium scored 12 goals and uchebo manage to get 5 for club de brugg |

Kog45: Well with intact 2013 afcon team with few changes at WC may be we would be talking about qtr final now.
Remember 2nd round record belonged to Westerhoff though Keshi equal it which to me is not a failure, hope Rohr would surpasses it cos anything short of qtr final not really good. keshi team had the opportunity to move beyond the round of 16....but the team lack the quality and motivation.... keshi never helped in his players selection...players imoh Ezekiel,Kenneth otigba, hope akpan etc were ignored |

TheSuperNerd: I agree to this. Players like Hadraf (the no.7) and that no.11 and 10 are very good technically. But shaa making the Moroccan WC Squad will be hellish for most of those CHAN winning players from Morocco. Morocco has a very strong foreign contingent especially in their midfield. I reckon Morocco to have one of Africa's best midfield forces right now with Ziyech, El-Ahmadi, and Bossoufa I have not been opportuned to watch Morocco team A play...going by you guys assertions here...it means that team is a bomb...and some persons are underrating them... I see them posing a shocker in that world cup group... |

tbaba1234: CHAN is a low level tournament. Players that shine in CHAN might not shine with better teams. Morocco already has one of the strongest African side. Remember, they conceded no goal in WC qualifying.
Ejike Uzeonyi was looking like lionel messi in CHAN. When he faced better opposition, he was no where. I understand...you bro... but mind you..that Morocco team in the last Chan was way better and more technical than the men keshi paraded in south Africa Chan of 2014.... for a player to score 9 goals in such a tourney is not an easy fit. there will always be like 2-4 players to be drafted into the main team from that Morocco team I saw in Chan... had it been Nigeria paraded such a team I tell you....it would be easy for rohr to pick at least 2 players into the main team.... I understand your stance about ejike...but in that Morocco team....you will see players of better quality and techniques than him... |

Kog45: Pls i want us to be realistic when it comes to considering players for certain positions.
Henry Oyekwuru no doubt a good player scoring goals with ease in Belgium league but a very fringe player in Super eagles meaning his place in 23 man list is not sure even in his normal position talk less of CF.
We know players Rohr rate unless we don't want to say it,so Oyekwuru will need to work extremely hard to make the team and making the team would not be as CF,Rohr will never try it.
Hope you remember that Oyekwuru couldn't do it as CF in his club and his coach pointed it out but as a winger the guy is damn good.
In eagle he has good competitors in Simeon Moses, Ahmed Musa,Victor Moses and possibly Alex Iwobi, just to tell you making the team is a big task for him.Remember the same player is out for now due to injury. yeah...since rohr gonna draft from a 35 man list...the possibility of him.making the cut...is there... he is a very ambitious player...someone who has lofty dreams and he is hardworking...I believe he gonna fight for his place... |

A: Uruguay Egypt B: Portugal Morocco (Spain knocked out, first shock) C: France Peru D: Nigeria, Croatia E. Brazil, Switzerland F: Germany, Mexico G: Belgium, England H: Senegal Columbia you're not far from the truth Big bro... I told someone Morocco likely to qualify from that group...they're Africa favorite in the mundial....going by what I saw their CHAN team play.... renard (Morocco team A coach) just need to absolve some of the CHAN team players into the main team and the Morocco world cup team will be a hit... unlike your prediction I see Spain going wit Morocco into the second round... for the first time africa likely gonna get up to 4 teams in the round of 16..... how I wish Tunisia was as strong as Morocco England won't qualify from that group.... |

In my opinion I will add Martins n ogbeche if ideye come out good great.. And let see how they come out in training. No close door for any player so far you are Stil very active and in form and also in coach 's plan you are good to go. I don't mind Henry be added as the 3ed striker...being that musa gonna likely make the team.... so Henry can be registered as the 3rd striker coupled wit his abilities to play as a winger too.... the CF....should be ighalo, nancho and Henry.... while Moses, Simon, iwobi, Musa,Etebo can come in as wingers |

Maradona Worried Over Argentina Team : We Almost Conceded Eight Goals Against Nigeria
Legendary Argentina midfielder Diego Maradona believes that the Argentina national team has lost its former glory and has called current manager Jorge Sampaoli a liar for claiming he does not have a genuine number nine in the squad. The former Barcelona and Napoli hero pointed out that Argentina would have conceded eight goals in their last friendly against the Super Eagles and the team rely too much on Messi to win. ''Today, except for Messi, they have lost respect for the team's jersey,'' Maradona told Diario Popular. ''Look at what happened in the last game with Nigeria, we almost conceded eight goals, please, you know what happened in my time in a match like that. "
Maradona added : ''Pipa' (Gonzalo Higuain) is ten times better, so for me he has to have another chance, but that boy (Sampaoli) does not know anything, what he does know is going to eat at friends' house..''
The 1986 World Cup winner said that Carlos Tevez deserves to be called up to the national team : It's not a debate, we have nothing else, we're scratching the stones to get a nine, one that overflows, Carlitos also has the sacred fire, it's contagious."
A brace from Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi plus additional tallies from Amkar Perm's Brian Idowu and Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho earned the Super Eagles a 4-2 win over Argentina in Southern Russia on November 14.
