asha80:hmmmm...who do they have there? England wit players like alli,Kane, vardy, rashford etc should be feared.... these players well managed can wreck any team.... |
Joebie:I got your point.... though mine a bit contrary.... I will want someone else to man the post against Serbia while uzoho be called up again.....when we play England...and Czech.. reason because I expect Poland and England to try us more than the rest teams... both team have in their ranks quality strikers to give him a trial and as well build his confidence. |
asha80:I quite agree wit you but I think the English are more hypocrisy in their dealings...they have a coded racial attitude that they won't let show in the open. they're lot of racial attitude that try repress. |
Mujtahida:Lollllll |
komekn:so unfortunate to read about the Burnley under 23 goal keeper....still don't understand why we still don't have a black skinned goal keeper in the epl and championship....may be you can throw more light into this...I will appreciate. anyway that's a story for another day... from your comments it is very obvious uzoho is the best chioce we have...I still believe the black skin problem is likewise telling on his devt in Spain...because from all indices had it been he was a Spanish or a Latino he would have been playing for this first team by now... black goal keepers don't have it easy in European leagues except in the French League....many clubs rarely give them that opportunity.... so I think uzoho is not a bad gamble...for a player to have kept such number of clean sheet in the reserve team is no child's play...that league I will see to be more organized than the npfl... |
komekn:please who else do you want us to put in goal? |
tbaba1234:so pathetic.... you know the nff should be blamed for this... someone like finidi who was ready to do the job jostle for this coaching role but he was denied....and now we have a lazy coach who can shout academics all over the country to look for talented players to put together and harness.... even manu garba will do better.... |
somehow:I have said it here repeatedly... that agbiogun coach have nothing good to offer.... when you put in someone who never merit the job in a role....it will take serious hardwork for such an individual to meet up...of which I don't think this man can do. |
bedspread:***smiles. I pray for same woman. stay blessed bro |
bedspread:awww...you don't mean it? i really respect her...please keep treating her right sir. |
TheSuperNerd:it is well..... may be until this No.1 make a costly mistake in a match....he will learn. *winks. against Cameroon from his wing the Cameroonians had their heyday. |
Oasis007:what's wrong wit my words it took me days to reply to your quotes... you must be kidding me right...? it's like you already have some perceived notions or hold some grudge against me in your heart prior now.... because I can't even remember if we have had disagreement before...even if we had...I must have forgotten because I hardly keep things in mind... I expected you to freely express your mind and prove my quotes wrong by posting your facts... I have never watched dele play for a long time....you should have convinced me and everyone else popping through the thread why he deserve a place in the super eagles... instead you just digress to something else even when I meant the bolded a joke. |
Icon4s:but I never said anything wrong...just trying to express my opinion.... I respect his views as well |
Daejoyoung:I tell you...my brother during the Chan tourney I became scared when I saw this...which means he still haven't learn anything yet...ajiboye unlike him never act in such manner.... I think...the problem wit ezenwa is so much...something we can't work with prior the World cup....uzoho should be trusted and allowed to man the post if he proves better during the friendlies...if not...leaving our world cup goal keeping role in the hands of akpeyi and ezenwa gonna be too risky.... though I don't really know about Dele fitness and I can't tell how good he is...because i haven't watch him play for a long time don't even know which team he play for... but I still think he is not in rohr's plans... |
somehow:brother we are no longer living on the past. you will agree wit me...that during the qualifiers elderson was our weakest link in the defense....then he was even in Turkey...though from some of his club highlights posted here...he played below par most times.. why can't we fix it...fix this defensive problem by putting round peg in round hole... presently you can't compare a player like Aina and elderson....forget this experience talk...his so called experience will keep him glued to the bench had it been he was in the English championship...... I am not sayn he should be dropped indescrimately but presently those guys- Aina and ebuehi all proved better at the moment |
Joebie:a good 90 mins against Poland should be enough to seal his place as super eagles No.1. one thing we still haven't understand about ezenwa is that...he always rush out from his line....and there by leaving space for a talented player to chip the ball off his head...he did this severally in this last Chan you know he is not that tall but him always rushing out may gift a player like messi 5 goals in a match... |
TheSuperNerd:with the bolded...meaning Aina is likely going to give way for Elderson...? I really don't fancy this move... |
TheSuperNerd:to think that one of Aina/Idowu will be sacrificed for his inclusion leaves me worried.... I will really want Aina to make this team same wit ebuehi both players are promising same wit shehu he has never disappoint |
komekn:I quite agree with you sir... it fear me more...to think that one of these young players - aina, ebuehi, shehu and idowu will be dropped for him. this young lads are all promising players....the future of the team and presenly they're well ahead of him |
Oasis007:I will....because I can't ask such questions repeatedly... that your Dele you asking for....how many clean saves has he made in the Israeli top flight this season? i will even pick that 18 years kid in Brazil over Dele anytime anyday let alone uzoho.... Dele is not better than the goal keepers we have presently....so him not been invited makes no difference...but ejide invitation will be in the negative....he gonna depreciate the team...akpeyi way far better. |
Oasis007:you asked a question naaaaa |
Oasis007:why don't you forward this to rohr... I believe him alone can provide you an answer.... but I will rather have Dele in the team in place of akpeyi |
mazimee:provided one of ebuehi, Aina, Shehu and idowu is not dropped for him.... rohr is threading on a wrong path....by sticking to elderson |
Winners72:deliverance for what....? stop spreading ignorance... haven't you read your Bible that Christ has delivered all men from the bonds of the devil and has translated us into His kingdom....? your deliverance lies in the Word of God for through knowledge shall the just be delivered and also....the truth you know shall set you free.... Jesus is the Word of God ...and the more knowledge you grasp of him....your life will be illuminated |
daveP:it's like you don't really know drinkwater abilities...... dude good wit long balls...and power shot too...watch his replay for Leicester.. |
MhizAJ:your comment made no sense...is OP her father? only a spoilt girl shamelessly ask money from men in like manner... if you're one....good you change your attitude. OP even tried...someone like me won't even bother make any further move....I easily lost respect for women that demands fr money at the very early stage.... |
crystalclear93:if you can really do what you wrote up there... then your kind of lady is hard to find.. |
komekn:was ikeme playing in the epl...prior he became super eagles No 1 ? you know in Spain...their reserve team get to play in la liga 2 unlike in england |
Ola Aina Names His Favourite Position And It's Not Right-Back In a recent interview with the official website of Chelsea, Nigeria international Ola Aina has listed the positions he has been playing for Hull City and explained why he has thrived at left-back. When Aina joined Chelsea Academy at U11 level, he was a right winger with an eye for goal before he was moved back to the right back position and can also be deployed as a central defender. In eight of his last ten matches for Hull City in the Championship, the defender operated at left-back, the same position he was fielded in Nigeria's matches against Zambia, Argentina and Algeria. ''At the beginning of the season I was playing right-back, obviously a position I am used to,'' Ola Aina stated. ''In the second half of the season I have been playing predominantly at left-back. ''I have probably enjoyed it there a bit more funnily enough, because I can drive on the inside or go down the outside and create more chances.'' The London-born Aina could not face Chelsea in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Friday, and the Tigers lost 4-0 without him in the line-up. Igho Kingsley source : ANS |
Uzoho Set To Beat Enyeama's World Cup Record, Keeps 11th Clean Sheet In 15 Games Deportivo de La Coruña goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is set to earn a spot in Nigeria's World Cup going by his form for Depor Fabril in the Segunda División B - Grupo I. The former Golden Eaglets invitee won plaudits from the fans following his performance on his debut against the Argentinian national team last November, keeping the strikers at bay as Nigeria came from behind to beat the two-time world champions 4-2. Despite the fact Uzoho is only 19 years, he is expected to be a key figure for the Super Eagles at the World Cup as he is expected to be the number one goalkeeper, provided that Vincent Enyeama does not return to the squad. The teenager has taken part in 15 matches for Deportivo de La Coruña across all levels - 2 in La Liga and 13 in the third-tier - and has posted an impressive 11 shutouts, including Saturday's clash vs Ponferradina. Only eight players Portu, Aday, álex Arias, David Añón, Randy Nteka, Juanma, Luismi Quezada and Cristo González have managed to score against Uzoho in the current season. He kept a clean sheet against Eibar, Real Madrid Castilla, R. Majadahonda, Valladolid B, CD Guijuelo, Atl. Madrid B , Celta Vigo B, CD Toledo, UD Sanse, R. Majadahonda and Ponferradina. Vincent Enyeama is the youngest goalkeeper to play for Nigeria at the World Cup, he was aged 19 years, nine months and 14 days when he started against England on June 12, 2002. Uzoho would beat that record if he is named in the starting line-up against Croatia on June 16. Igho Kingsley source: ANS |
somehow:if his allegations on the club management/board was truly something we should go by... you think such shady acts will be goinh on in the netherland without the FA knowinh... the netherland is one of Europe most transparent country....you mean the gross corruption and dirty deals of fortune stittard will slip through their fingers without their notice. oliseh rubbed his face dirty wit those defensive words he mutted after he was suspended...those things were not necessary. |
somehow:better you worry about oliseh's attitude...the club will be just fine. the club was supposed to be an opportunity for him to launch his career in Europe coaching roles...and make up for his abysmal display wit the super eagles... but he ruined it...... it takes character to keep a job....not necessarily competence. organisation sometimes don't mind let go of a dexterous employee who lacks character just to stay organized an United. |
