How come other managers are fired for results and not behavior?

How much must you stink up, the job that even your players are against you?
may be oliseh is the only saint in netherland...coaching roles

why haven't other coaches raise up their voices should his corrupt allegations is anything to go by.... may be the rest coaches are corrupt too?

Because a Dutch writer did, I should swallow such writings?

If he's got bad man management as being preached, why was he winning matches with the players thereby setting records? Was he using mercheneries?
can I ask you some questions?

is oliseh the first coach to have worked in the netherland?
why is the club management reporting some of this issues about him?
compare his fall out wit enyeama and the nff wit the drama he went display in Holland...

should that Michael assertion be taken for true...that the club management want some of their players in the club team one of the reason for his suspension....then tell me..why the other coaches working in that country still haven't had same rifts prior now...?
is he the only one coaching in netherland...or is he going to tell me that the netherland football is still as corrupt as Nigeria...?

please it will be good you guys come to terms that this man's character is telling on him and not people presumption.

Henry Oyekwuru played mostly as winger,as top man he couldn't do it in his club but very solid from the wings.

My point is this making 23 man list with the presence of Victor Moses,Alex Iwobi,Simeon Moses and Ahmed Musa not easy for him and Rohr will never consider him as number three striker after Ighalo and Iheanacho.
that injury does him no good...
Henry is one player I'II like to see in Russia....going by your writing up there...gonna be difficult for him though...
meaning oshimen or ideye or may be another player spring up prior the World cup...may be the 3rd striker... but I am still hopeful for Henry

Your question has nothing to do with what I have been typing. Stay within the context of my post if we're discussing my post.

If oliseh was so bad as they have painted it, how then did he set all the records? With which players and staff? Shouldn't all of them be against him or at least most?

Make we reason am na.

Some poeple already have a pre-assumed mindset of Oliseh so anything that supports this, they lash on.

When things was rosy and he was enjoying good performance, some here we're putting up the 'but' in their statements waiting for one slip so they can say "I told you".

Weird set of Nigerians.
nobody has a presumed mindset about him...
his nasty character is telling on him....
mind you same character he manifested when he handled the super eagles came to play in netherland..and watch...it will still play out in his next coaching job...he has a bad attitude...they've been many coaches fired or suspended because of Similiar issue may be refusal to party to the club dubious schemes if the allegations by oliseh is anything to go by...
but this coaches will never utter any of such irresponsible words he said after his suspension....

don't forget a Dutch journalist wrote about his poor man managerial skill some time ago which lead to the resignation of some of his backroom staffs....but we took it lightly and now the everything have been left open...and here you're talking about presumption

My major point is third striker which i don't think Rohr would consider Oyekwuru for cos you mentioned him.

So Oyekwuru have Victor Moses,Simeon Moses,Alex Iwobi and Ahmed Musa to compete with meaning that one must be dropped for him to make the team, huge task.

The third striker apart from Ighalo and Iheanacho have to be from Nwakaeme,Ideye and Kayode, mentioning Nwakaeme,Ideye and Kayode was based on being part of Rohr team during qualifier nothing more, hope you read my line on Martins,i said i don't see his calling happening.

Now my question is will you consider Oyekwuru as third striker ahead of Ideye or Nwakaeme in the 23 man list.
to be true...wit ideye recent performance I fear he may likely be the 3rd striker...
but any day I will prefer Henry not only more clinical but also....got more pace, ball control and can also play as a winger when occasion demands.

Pls why are we disturbing ourselves with Success.A real student of Nigeria football history would never be bothered cos we have seen enough of them better than Isaac Success in all ramifications but with same attitudes.

Pls do you know Tarilla Okorowanta,Etim Esin,Ochucko Otis,Dondo Ava,Duke UDI,Emma Ebiede, these are extremely talented footballers who are supposed to make it in the world of football but indiscipline ruined them,so Success would not be exceptional unless he changed his attitude.

Some months ago i was telling anyone who care to listen that Success is not a player for this WC,may be 2022 if he can changed but sentiments beclouded some and said am talking trash but good even Success people which i belonged are beginning to see it now.

Sir Komkne always saying it that Success is a failure, pls check Iheanacho now but a lot disagreed citing that he is extremely talented forgetting football is always about discipline not even talent.

Success is someone I know very well right from U 17 in UAE,very bozzling guy who love partying a lot,he shiuld just take it cool and learn from extremely talented players likes Eric Cantona,David Ginola,Paul Gascoigne and Etim Esin, what was the end result.
thanks for your rich words of wisdom...sir.

I never knew some of this names you put up there... to be honest one of the reason why many of us here cry for the inclusion of foreign born and groomed players...is because of this "discipline" factor
for a player groomed and tutored in good academics in Europe right from their infant age will hardly go this way....except on few cases....just take a look at iwobi saga...recently he never went online to rant same way success did....instead he kept his head cool and I am sure he regreted his actions.....for rohr to have called Wenger his fellow French man and talked to him about it......it shows he is has some sense of humility.

sometimes it saddens me to see Nigeria players while still in their late 20s they begin to dwindle....except for some of the disciplined ones...

so pathetic to see a young player of success kind refusing to take held...

Why Liverpool fans got excited about tackling machine Ndidi…

https://d2x51gyc4ptf2q.cloudfront.net/content/uploads/2018/02/14152710/Wilfred-Ndidi-Jordan-Henderson-700x366.jpg

There are two reasons why one Liverpool fan’s opinion piece about the Reds’ need for a player like Wilfred Ndidi spawned dozens of transfer stories still reverberating around the globe a week later. The first is the desperation of a click-hungry sports media for transfer gossip in February and the second is that it made complete sense.
This is a team without any discernible dynamism in midfield and here is a player who has made more tackles this season than any other Premier League player. Liverpool fans understandably went a little gooey and started dreaming of an Ndidi/Keita midfield that would condemn the stodginess of Jordan Henderson to the bench or even another club.
If Claude Puel spends any time at all on the internet, we hope he reads Mediawatch and thus knows that those reports are unfounded. We would hate the wonderfully unruffled Frenchman to get ruffled so soon after he had successfully fought to keep hold of Riyad Mahrez. But while quoting numbers approaching £100m for the Algerian, we cannot help but wonder about the asking price for the Nigerian, five years younger but equally vital to Leicester’s mission to reclaim European football.

Were you to believe the people we are duty-bound to call boffins from the CIES Football Observatory then you would put his value at around £58m. In a list released in December , Ndidi was rated as the 11th most valuable Under-21 player across Europe’s big five leagues. Only Dele Alli, Leroy Sane, Marcus Rashford, Gabriel Jesus, Anthony Martial and Davinson Sanchez were given higher values among young Premier League players, and two of that number have since turned 22.
It will not have escaped your notice that all of those players are at top-six clubs. Whether it be Liverpool or another suitor, it seems unlikely that Ndidi will be allowed to quietly excel at Leicester far beyond this summer’s World Cup. That’s not how football works in 2018.

When a player only joins a club in January and still wins the Young Player of the Year award, you know that he is special.

When a player joins in January but makes more tackles than all but two of his teammates across the whole season, you know why Claudio Ranieri called him a ‘warrior’. Ndidi based his game on that of his hero Jon Obi Mikel, was compared to Yaya Toure in Belgium and has walked (scratch that, he never walks) into inevitable N’Golo Kante comparisons at Leicester; you can certainly see traces of all in his relentless running and prolific tackling.

The tackling is the headline statistic (113 successful tackles with Everton’s Idrissa Gueye a distant second on 85) but that has to be tempered by the fact that no Premier League player has been dribbled past more; he simply attempts a hell of a lot more tackles than anybody else, though his success rate of 62.5% trails behind both Gueye (68%) and Kante (64%). But even taken with those pinches of salt, to be that effective at 21 is simply spectacular.

“He is a fantastic recoverer of the ball, winning the ball back, and gives us possession,” says Puel, but the Frenchman has also been careful to keep using the word ‘potential’; he clearly sees his job as turning Ndidi into a complete midfielder rather than just a tackling machine. The question is whether he will get the opportunity to complete that job or whether the task will be handed over to Jurgen Klopp or Another in exchange for £60m or more.
One thing that should not be difficult to improve is Ndidi’s shooting. As it stands he has taken the most Premier League shots this season without scoring. He’s probably not quite as proud of being top of that particular table.

Manu Garba abandoned his best under 20 players on the bench and went for those who were largely still homebased to help them find clubs. The result was a poor performance which did not help anyone find good European clubs.

If you choose your best players regardless of where they are based. The chance for a good tournament is high. This improves the chances for the home-based to find good clubs.

So your pick for penalty kicks is Victor Moses-I think that's a fair one.

Victor's ball deliveries most especially crosses are poor. But I think he can be work on. His deliveries against Cameroon in Uyo are testament to this. One from the corner kick lead to a goal. The direct free kicks he took that day weren't that bad as one hit the target though the resultant goal was over turned.

A bit of extra training should put him in shape.
I have always know that nancho and Moses Simon can do better wit free kicks...the dead balls Moses got to play against Cameroon....could have been well converted had it been it was left for nancho/S Moses to play....

I remember Simon made a good use of one against swaziland and nancho against Argentina...

AIG07:
Throughout the World Cup qualifiers, the Super Eagles scored 12goals across 6matches averaging 2goals per match which is an impressive stat putting in mind the strength of the opponents they faced and going on to concede 4goals in total.

Of the 12goals scored, only 1 was scored via setpiece(corner kick) while the rest came from open play. The team conceded 4goals: 2 from open play and 2 from spotkick(resulting from avoidable goalkeeping errors). This has gone to show how strong our line of defence was against the top, strong and physical african sides.

With Rohr, looking forward to strengthen his defence and finding a reliable and permanent solution to the ever unconvincing goalkeeping department, I see the team putting off any forms of attack from the open play.

In the light of this, Eagles opponents might have to exploit other means to break the Eagles' wall and get the desired points/results. One of these means will definitely be SET-PIECES.

Eagles' group stage opponents Croatia, Iceland and Argentina all boast of world class and deadly dead ball specialists. These opponents, might decide to draw fouls out of our boys in dangerous areas to capitalise on our team's weakness-SET PIECE DEFENDING.

There is therefore need for us to settle and fix our inabilities to convert and defend setpieces before
we kick the first ball at the mundial.

A very good left and right setpiece takers who have the ability of weeping deadly balls into the 18yard boxes from left and right sides of the pitch. These players should be our notable takers in the upcoming friendlies so as to enable them to master the act before World cup proper.

*my suggestions*
Victor Moses
Simon Moses
Kelechi Iheanacho.

Russia 2018 WC Countdown: 120 days 7mins to go
please bro who is Paul aigbogun?
what are his achievements as a coach?
a square peg in a round hole...
I'II call it.

to be honest i don't think he merit this job
how he got the job ahead of other more qualified persons still a mystery....

I don't expect much from him at all....

I remember he got signed by enyimba after they refused to extend kadiri ikhana contract at enyimba despite a successful season where they won the league wit a whopping 70 points....only for paul to take them to abyss the following season....
that's much I could remember of him...
