Not every one wants to go into business

Some people just love simple life
Lol...simple life my foot.
that man have no ideas...his brain I beleive is empty....

he has no ideas to grow his farm...

to be honest how you do one thing is the same as how you do everything...
if one cannot be successful in business then how can he manage the nation's economy...?

though I am not praising atiku though because he is a thief too...but he is more business minded than buhari...

had it been this religious practises will restore sanity and forestall corruption in our government and individual relationships...I don't mind...but still all I see over them are hypocrites...who only remember their religion practises to show off..and never reflects in their characters...

every year you will see corrupt politicians and thieves in government offices...shuttling between Nigeria and Mecca and also Nigeria and Jerusalem...

all the religion tenets they claim to know wont stop them from stealing.

The Flamingos drew 0-0 with Ethiopia in Benin City yesterday and qualified courtesy of their 1-1 away draw.

Meanwhile their next round opponent, Cameroon, beat Algeria 11-0 on aggregate (4-0 in Algeria, 7-0 in Cameroon) to book a meeting with Nigeria.

This got me thinking. Is it that the Ethiopians produced a very strong side or Nigeria has raised a very poor U17 team? Cos I didn't watch the game.

Secondly why have we always produced poor U17 teams at female levels. The falconets have always achieved far more than the Flamingos with 4 semi finals and two finals. While our best for the Flamingos is the quarter final.

Something is definitely not right.

We are going into that Cameroon encounter with the later as favorites.

We have never failed to qualify for any Female U17 or U20 WC. I hope this will not be the first.
what do you expect when they're no proper plans and management for the team...
let me say this...what have been paving way for us...is just TALENTS...because when it comes to planning we have been behind...

do you know that countries like south Africa even Lesotho organise friendlies for the cadet teams (male & female) everytime especaliy during fifa friendlies Windows...?
here in Nigeria we believe the fire brigade approach whenever there is a qualifer match to be played...

what I still don't get...is it that CAF/FIFA don't send in grants for this friendlies...
or the tournaments they have been winning and participating in all this while the CAFand FIFA tourneys....they don't get monetary prize and rewards..?
if they do...then where is cash?

I know for sure...the winner of FIFA world cup part ways with close to 30M dollars meaning the under 17 will be like 5-10M dollars......likewise in the CAF level.
so where are all this money?

haba..at least they are not fighting each other and forgetting to pay anybody.

The friendlies will be confirmed, they have confirmed one already.

Just remember we have never had a perfect NFF, each tackle what they deem important and ignore others
I agree with the bolded...I have begin to loose patience wit them...
living here in Abuja have really influenced my perception of civil servants...they rarely takes their job serious....can hardly be seen in the office...

I believe the reason why other national football teams like the cadet an female football team suffer neglect is not really because of funding per se but reason of no one has ever drafted or suggest any programs for these teams...no plan at all to contain them...

because I see nothing there in camping any of the aforementioned teams here in Nigeria and play friendlies wit any club sides If that is what they can afford at least it would afford the coaches to begin assess and know their players well....

so bad....I really think..I will have to make this draft and send it to the NFF office here in wuse....so bad I have lost Dr Sanusi Mohammed phone number...he once came over to my office some time ago...of which I had to attend to him..just forget to save his number that day....

but will still do something regarding this plans...it is so annoying until now they have been no road map for the under 17, 20 teams...etc while other countries are planning cadet teams friendlies we can't even arrange a mere friendly for the super eagles...

Dear...I want enough friendlies for rohr to be able to assess all this players by match..so as to rap up his team selection plans prior the June friendlies...it will be perfect if him and his technical team come to know like 95% of the players heading to Russia prior the June friendlies so as to enable him prepare his tactics and strategies prior those later friendlies....in June.

I was kind of skeptical that we would be able to pull off two GOOD friendlies in March.
We will end up playing an African country maybe. We could as well have just taken on Seychelles. Well it's too early to murmur.
If possible let's get a team that didn't qualify. Even if it's Greece or the USA.
to be honest...wit you.
that nff Secretary and his parlies have not impress me for once....
so slow and lackadaisical in planning...
they seems not to be working on the same page wit the presidents.....imagine him sayin he was aware of shehu's suspension and stil refuse to alert the teams coaches....even the yusuf and co....who were supposed to be taking records still was ignorant.....

and coming back to the friendlies...I have begin to see their poor planning and lackadiscal attitude in display....one just hope this does not affect the coach plans...
every other countries plans for their age grade teams, female football teams, including the male football team successfully but here in Nigeria the nff just have to plan for the super eagles and the super eagles alone as they beleive the rest football teams does not deserve to be look into...except when they've got Nations or world cup qualifiers in their categories and yet they still fail in lag behind in planninh for the super eagles...

up till now....the friendlies have still not been confirmed...and announced....
this nff is a problem....

I know about Sokari. He's used to be dubbed as the "Nigerian iniesta" those days. My point is many said Rohr is looking for someone to replicate Onazi's work and I'm asking why Sokari and not Joel Obi and Azubuike?? Both have better defensive qualities and offer more versatility(especially Joel Obi). I'm not against inviting him but it'd be unfair if someone like J Obi doesn't get an opportunity as well.
life itself is not fair bro.....
sometimes opportunities does not come across to everyone at the same time...
but when opportunity meet preparation...that's the best.

The first thing people need to do is know the difference between Bride Price and Marriage List, before they run their mouths about throwing anythih away. It is ignorance that causes such misplaced discussions

In my village, the bride price is 25 naira, till today.....so, what is the hullabaloo about? Can they not afford 25 naira?

Because some people have copied westerners, they want to abolish everything their forefathers stood for and what got them here. Shame to the African race
first lady I am wit you on this...I won't like marry any lady without paying her dowry...even the Bible talks of dowry..
I remember when I gave my sisters out in marriage...together wit the elders I collected not more than #2500 on each...as dowry.
I wanted even collect less......
I think the bride price in some cultures need to be reduced or revisited but not to be totally scrapped out...

Nigeria: 'Super-Six Tournament Will Help Home-Based Eagles Ahead of CHAN'

Salisu Yusuf, the Super Eagles Assistant Coach, has said the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 6 Tournament was an avenue to test and improve the home-based Eagles team.

Yusuf told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja yesterday that the event would also help in the discovery of new and talented players for the team.

"It will help improve the form of the home-based Eagles, as well as the players' performance and quality," he said.

Yusuf, who is the home-based Super Eagles' Chief Coach, has been preparing the team for the 2018 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) billed for January in Morocco.

The coach pointed out that Nigerian clubs were blessed with talented and young football players who were yet to be given opportunities to show their worth at the national team.

"The Super 6 tournament will help us to see some young players from these clubs here in Nigeria and it will also help us build a better team," he said.

Yusuf expressed optimism in the capability of his payers to be better shaped by the tournament for greater results.

The six teams at the tournament are the home-based Super Eagles, Enyimba FC of Aba, Plateau United of Jos, MFM FC of Lagos, Akwa United of Uyo and hosts Kano Pillars.

Holding the three friendlies in Abuja (or any other Nigerian City) is certainly an ambitious plan on the part of the NFF.

It’s ambitious because the cost of flight tickets (business class/premium economy), and hotel lodging for the visiting teams would amount to no less than N80 million.

However, as the NFF will receive $1 million and $500,000 from FIFA and CAF respectively for WC preparation, hosting the 3 matches wouldn’t be a big financial burden to them.
moreover it will remit more money for our hotels and promote business activities round the match avenue....
