Hope you know Henry is his own man. Like Vicmo, Henry is a winger who hardly play with the striker. He hardly cross, any space in the box with Defenders, he does it alone. Then defensively if we lose possession, he doesn't have the strength & so does Iwobi. Our second goal against Argentina was possible because kc didn't have the skillset but gifted with an eye for a telepathic pass to pick out Alex. With Henry, he will take them on & they will crowd him out in due course. Most tactical teams will do that to him.
hmmmmmm....you've got some points there.
it then means wit the the 3-5-2 formation.
Henry will.be no relevant...
save for iwobi,nacho,and Ighalo.

me think Moses is too important for us to use him as a wingback, he could pair with whoever up top and have the licence to roam, just my thought tho. but I don't think we'll use that formation unless situation calls for it
I won't mind Moses play the wing back role....

should we use the 3-5-2 formation.

how about we try...

iwobi and Henry in the two man attack...
and also give a try to...
Ighalo and nacho combo...in the two man attack.....

I think iwobi and Henry combination gonna be deadly.....
Henry ball control and dribbling skills gonna be disastrous to most teams...

I agree.

Is he older than Martins? If Martins is good enough even though he is scoring in China, Ogbeche should also be considered.

Club performance should get him an invite to the national team.
I agree wit the bolded.

The 3-5-2//5-3-2 formation is just a formation we're trying to master not to adopt
Since Rohr took over the team has played 4-4-1-1 formation, 4-3-2-1 formation even 4-3-3 (diamond). So he's experimenting on the 3-5-2/5-3-2 formation so our style can be unpredictable by opponents.
He wants to be like Loëw that has 8 different formations depending on the opponents (the reason why it's difficult to beat them). Cos at every time of the game, the team formation changes and it confuses opposition play.
i thinks I like this....

should we go wit one striker upfront...in the case of 4-4-1-1 perse...I will prefer we go wit ighalo being that he is not only good with his foot but his head also...
he has a reasonable height....that can be an advantage also.

My brother you are totally wrong.
Maldini and co retired due to old age .
Or are you saying those players are low class or what. Should they be playing football forever or won't they retire?

The saying is right, form us temporary and class is permanent.
then martins is never aging....

reread your write up..... saying that maldini and co retired due to old age....meaning they still have their class intact...can still deliver when called to play football...if possible win the world cup for their country....then why did them retire in the first place?

my brother nothing...absolutely nothing last forever....

That Obafemi Martins highlights though, that reminds me why he is called Obagoal... I think Rohr has no choice but to invite him now to camp for some of our next games. His goal scoring instincts and experience is not a bad weapon to have though.
Do you know that almost all Nigeria strikers have similar blazing highlights when coined from YouTube...? even Bartholomew Ogbeche self...

so highlights can be deceptive....

to be honest wit you...if we are going to adopt that 2-5-3 & 2-3-5 formation...

then we will have less need for too many forwards...

Martins may still have that quality tho. There's no big deal, he would be invited(l believe) and then given the chance to prove himself. There's a saying that form is temporary but class is permanent, so we may never know when it comes to Martins.
who said that...?
if that saying was true...the likes of pirlo, maldini, figo etc...

would have still been playing...
those are just words many use to justify their points...or give reason to their views...

it often does not hold water.

I don't know though if he was injured...
@MLS Martins was blazing hot...
I was among his fan...many a time I will search YouTube just to watch his play...

I wont be surprised if he's dropped. Truth is he's not really been impressive since the Match against Algeria. Some say it's because he ought not to be played as an AM but what then does versatility mean? Against Algeria he was lost. In any case it's up to him to stake a claim for a place in the final 23 cos I believe he would make the initial cut before the pruning down to 23
to be honest...I am more concerned of us taking Henry than him...because etebo only role to fit in will be the flanks...being that he is not creative enough to be our AM....

there is nothing I won't hear. So when Omeruo was playing for the U23's(Chelsea's U23 is way better than Leicester's) it was a very bad thing, but now that Iheanacho is playing for Leicester's U23 they will suddenly win the chinese cup if they register for it? Just read this again and check if it makes sense even to you
you've a problem wit decoding one's write up....

just overlook his comments....

I personally think Argentina will crash out at the Group Stage this time.

Nigeria and Croatia to go through from this group.

We need to top this group to avoid France and in case we somehow meet them, PLEASE break a French player's leg.
I am with you on this.....
Argentina may likely not scale through...

I see Croatia scaling through....we really need to avoid France because they could beat any Africa team silly...their match could be Brazil, Spain or Germany
