TheGoodJoe: Do you honestly think Martins can meet up with the intensity of the Super Eagles counter attacks? NO....... he won't be missed....there is nothing exceptional about his play style that gonna rob on the eagles..... my 3 strikers for the world cup.... Ighalo Nacho Kayode or Paul.... though I will prefer kayode because of his pace...and more |

Thank you Sister....... I'm kinda happy with your Submission. Hypocrisy is; if you are craving for the Return of an unfit Enyeama, but doesn't want an in-form Martins near the Team.
They should all stay far away from the List and allow the young Bloods to enjoy their moment. thanks my brother.....the way they clamour for Martins leave me afraid..... if he was that good....he won't be in Chinese league..... an average player....many wanna stick their head for.... I will rather.....we have nwakeme than him... |

komekn: Your club consistent and continuous performance and national team selection is the reward and recognition that it brings.
If you loose form and are not performing, then that position is no longer secure.
If Ighalo and or Martins out perform him will KC will he still be Numero 1 you make me laugh...nacho has scored over 7 goals for the super eagles wit just 14 matches....please tell me Martins stats? two players far better than Martins...since you will love to know....are ighalo and nacho.... if Martins was that good let him move to the epl come January......and let's see how well he will play.... you make me laugh comparing someone playing in Chinese league...to players playing in Belgium, netherland, Israel etc the strength of a league is revealed in the national.team..... how good is the Chinese national team where a team in the league must parade up to 70% of full nationals in their team set up... these are folks Martins play with weekly and here...you are mixing words as if he now play for Barcelona.... ighalo this season...some epl clubs already mulling on signing him come next year..... |

safarigirl: Ndidi with an assist today and another 90 minutes
But let's all ignore that and extensively discuss Kelechi's absence on the team sheet. the most important thinh is they all stay fit for the world cup games.... the truth is...had it been KC was English he won't be treated this way....though him moving to leicester wasn't a wise move.. I want him and musa to at least play weekly even if it is in EPL 2...(elite under23 team) most important thing is that they keep fit...we all know what they can offer when they're on the SE colors. I think no playtime never really affected Ahmed musa performance I watched his pass to iwobi against Argentina...there was much brilliance in it and doesn't look like an assist from someone who has not been getting game time.... |

Efe should just continue reminiscing on his past World Cup appearances and that 2013 AFCON. Nigeria stands a higher chance of winning the World Cup than Efe getting a recall into the team you took the words out of my mouth.... |

TheGoodJoe: I also felt the big money move to Watford was premature. I think his agent was more interested in the financial bounty than Success growing. Atletico Madrid was the right step. There he would have been with other young players in a familiar environment.
We can not turn back the hand of time, so Success needs to make the right decisions now if he is going to become a footballing great. there is nothing like premature move there big bro.... the boy lost it...he is not disciplined. I remember ndidi got to Europe at a very tender age 17....so young that the team had to look for foster parents fr him.... same young lad break into the epl at a very tender age....discipline is the watchword |

At Fulham I watched him and he had no discipline and respect. Late for training doing what he likes. But the Managers allowed him because he was that good. komekn: After a £12.5 million move to Watford that's very big money for Watford. He came in as a striker.
This is his second season 17 games and 1 goal.
Those statistics are abysmal add to that reports of gross indiscipline and unprofessionalism. You can see he has been his worst enemy. You do not get too many chances in football. If he plays with the U23's he better be the most outstanding player in every game. Or even there small hungry determined teenage boys will overtake him.
Nobody has time for failure in football particularly self induced failure.
He need a clean break a loan in the championship will not be easy. But the intensity of the Championship will prepare him for the EPL. But that is if he performs.
I guarantee at least 4/5 clubs will give him an immediate chance based on past performance.
Richarlison is not the problem Success is his own problem. Richarlison came in this season not last. I am really impressed with this your write up....big bro. well done |

Icon4s: O boy who doesn't like good old memories.
Our youth teams of the 80s were highly talented.
Due to the competition in the national team in the 90s a lot of them couldnt play for Nigeria at the senior level.
Imagine players like Tarila Okoronwanta, Dimeji Lawal, Chris Ohenhen, not being able to break into the team even with their exploits both at youths and club level.
Even the likes of Siasia, Adepoju, Ugbade that managed to break in mostly were not starters. Alloy Agu and Agbonavbare were also goalkeepers products of that era.
A player like Ohenhen was with the Real Madrid youth team at a stage. wow... if you had not wrote this things I won't have know..... thanks for this...I am in my late 20s so I know little about Nigeria football of old... thanks oga icon... |

Icon4s: Fatai Atere was not really outstanding.
The outstanding player in that pic was Dimeji Lawal. Formerly Oladimeji Mohammed(at U17). Dimeji was such an awesome player to watch. He played football, pulled stunts and enjoyed it. And he played with so much confidence.
Dimeji, Osondu and Christopher Nwosu were totally unplayable at the 1987 U17.
Why Dimeji Lawal's career failed to progress is still a mystery to me today. That boy was pure class. oga icon this is where you thrive...good to know this from.you especially as regarding ohenhen...I never knew this.. |

The only European team Ghana has ever beaten is Czech Republic. While they have never beaten any South American team.
But as for Nigeria, for Europe we have beaten: Bulgaria 2X, Greece, Spain, Scotland, France, Bosnia and Luxemburg. While for South America we have beaten Argentina 2X. how did they got to quarter final in 2010... all their matches I have watched they have always prove difficult for south America teAms and some European power house |
