Yea u are right, big boss and Agbim only God can reveal d union just too glaring d guy was poor.

Truly indigenous coaches didn't do enough regards players invitations especially goalkeepers.
that's why I expect a revolution in that area wit the presence of this new foreign goal keeper trainer....

why

Pls what is so special picking Onazi to test keeper in shooting training session and what do u mean by shot conversion ratio, are u talking in a match situation or what.
he just don't like onazi....and it Is becoming glaring by the day

If u watch Nigeria-Guinea match during WAFU cup, d guy was just too composed, played d ball on d ground with his defenders in Guardiola way, though opposition is weak.

Enyeama made his Eagles entry with just a friendly match against Kenya and relegate Ejinde who had series of grade A friendly matches.

Hope w round it up against Zambia and let see Ajiboye against Algeria just like Westerhoff had Alloy Agu,Agbonavbare and later Peter Rufai who wasn't even in d picture during US 94 qualifiers.
to be honest wit you....I sincerely believe one area where merit have never played on national team call ups for a long while now...is the area of goalie invitation...and I will blame the indigenous coaches for this...
I still remember how keshi tried to pass agbim down our throat even when it become glaring to the world that the guy was a basket...

he kept akpeyi in the dark...never let us know what he has to offer...

Onazi was just a random example, and yes his shot-conversion ratio isn't great, this has nothing to do with anything.

Ok would you rather choose Mikel to be testing the gk?

Not really. One person here is doing his best to bury the truth. I am trying to make sure the truth stays alive.

When once I posted Rooney's comment of Roy Keane being the best Passer, that is enough for someone to know he made a mistake, learn from it and move forward. Instead he went to a forum, selected a few negative views and made it a concensus.

Reaching there, the remarks were opposite. That is not argument again. That is blatant denial and trickery.
I had to leave...when one of my bro...refused to accept the message from Chelsea hurdle...calling mikel a legend.
the way assumptions and prepositions were drawn up to refute the statement leaves me baffled.

There is a difference between agree to disagree and blatant denial of pure facts which baffles me. Imagine Rooney saying Roy Keane passes well and someone here is trying to look for an excuse to show he knows more than Rooney. Nwannem I do not know how to agree that.

Someone trying to play down the DMF role because he wants to taint Mikel's impact is a no, no for me. I do not know how to agree to disagree.
I think...I am with you on this.

You haven't answered the question, how many games has he played in the Bundesliga for his team
huh

Being in the Bundesliga as a first team player playing regular football is a world away from playing a few games and warming the bench. That's not the pedigree required for the SE.

Wolfsburg was almost relegated last season and are far from being a top club. The bottom section of the Bundesliga I will rate on par with the mid section of the Championship.

Bundesliga is rated 4th in Europe and I have watched quite a few German teams. Which I find to be almost a one team league with Bayern winning everything going almost year in year out. The gap between Bayern and it's closest rivals is considerable.

Unlike in the premiership you really cannot tell each year who can win it. You have almost 5/6 teams in contention every year. Wining the league consecutively or three years in a row is near impossible.

Bundesliga is close to Scotland premier league with Celtic running away with everything for the past few years. It's the performance of Bayern that pushes them up the European rankings.

That's why I can't really see Wolfsburg, Mainz and Augsberg beating Fulham, Derby and Middlesbrough.

It's in thar regard I consider the premiership the most competitive, the fastest and physically demanding intense league in the World.

The Bundesliga may contend technically speaking but that's about it. That's my view on the Bundesliga.

With this in mind why do you regard 20 year old youth player essentially who is inexperienced, untested and unproven a better option than Efe Ambrose.huh huh huh

Dominic Iorfa is fast strong but technically superior with regard to the SE he is not that comfortable on the ball. However, he probably is better than Omeruo who wasn't able to cut it in the championship with Middlesbrough.
you comparing German league wit the Scottish league....is a gross injustice and loopsided...
even Dortmund and bayern levekersun will beat hell out of Celtic.

every ucl season...bayern do prove their worth and that their triumph in German league is no fluke
calling a young defender like Felix a bench warmer is surprising...a player who had played over 50% of his club football this season...
same way you downplayed ebuehi because he plays in the Dutch league...

mind you the acclaimed one of the best CB in Africa right now...Leon plies his trade in the German league...and doesn't get to play that much...but whenever he plays for Nigeria he shines like a milion stars...
going by your assertion Leon should be a Benjamin.

with all due respect sir...it seems you ignorant of the German football culture, something evident in all their groomed players

same league wit only only dominant champion...bayern and other average clubs..
Germany will build a formidable senior national team, under 23, under 20 and under 17 from and they will be unbeatable and have other nations for dinner even England...

go back to history both male and female football...
besides Brazil....Germany have one of the most robust history in football having won more trophies and appearing in more finals than any other european nation.

Felix don't need experience to get into the super eagles......with his potentials he is raring to go...we should go for him instead...

let forgiveness catch you as you no include Ajagun and Kayode.
That time e go accuse all of us for this thread of conspiracy. grin
Lol...he can include it if he likes....
I think kayode too...should be included
I really don't think that Aaron Samuel has any business wit the super eagles for now...likewise Isaac success...

the problem is...we have so much players as strikers now...so kayode chances gonna be limited...just imagine had it been we were able to get Tammy....
so those who wanna go to Russia should step up their game...

I think nwakali too stand a chance...if he step up his game too....

he may make the provisional squad

GBAM abi no be d same Efe again, very erratic as CB,back up for Ekong and Leon?

Rohr should just look for CB in d class of Balogun who can read d game very well.Felix Uduokhai should be considered coz is not easy to be a starter in German league especially as CB.

Am an apostle of experience but a lot forget that some players doesnt need any national team experience to break into d team.

Balogun came to national team through Keshi, his first match he got injured as RB when he came in d 2nd half but his first touch on d ball was a class, already ripe at that time.

I remember Onigbinde invited Danny Shittu prior to 2002 WC and played a friendly but later dropped,i told a friend that this guy was better than Efe Sodje even better than Joseph Enakhire as at then coz it was glaring.

Look at Ikeme case for instance,it was glaring that Ikeme should have in Eagles for long or do we say Ikeme need any experience to be in goal for national team.He doesn't need it,championship league already prepared d guy for any challenges.

My question is this why do we need to wait for this foreign born to reach d age of 28 plus before extending invitation to them, thanks for Rohr for changing this perspectives.

If Ekong can lay claim to shirt as CB in d Super Eagles then player like Felix Uduokhai,Ojokojo, Irofa are more ready, let give them d chance now not after 28 years of age.
the sentiments here...leave me surprised...
I do much thank God some of us here are not the national team coach or the nff boss...only God knows what state our football would have been...

Why not huh

How many games has Felix played in the Bundesliga?

Currently he is potential but that's all. I would rather have an experienced center half with quality who is proven and tested. Against a speculative youngster essentially a youth player who is largely unproven.

Furthermore Efe is not old he is a only 28.
experienced centre half that will sit on the bench...ryt?
do you think efe will like sit on the bench or rather act as back up to the current defenders.....?

you simply not sold on Felix reason because he plies his football in Germany and not in England...
had it been you've been following up the German league...you will know how well he has played this season and minutes he has to his belt.
I remember you once signalled Wolfsburg to be in same lane wit championship club....

let's leave that aside....the German league is miles ahead of the Scottish league...
Felix will offer more in the long run...for Nigeria...the goal is not just now but to build a formidable team that will make a mark in Qatar 2022...and beyond
rather than go for efe I will prefer we even go for illorfa
