komekn: Actually to be honest most of our players are not playing in the top leagues. Those that are, stand out clearly and they are all from the EPL essentially.
Why then do people get offended, riled up and vexed. when I suggest EPL and or Championship players of Nigerian origin as better alternatives than some players in the backwater leagues. no one gets angry sir...it's just your opinion... It only draw my attention whenever epl or championship league is being used as a yardstick to judge SE players...because England that have been using same league players since ages have not won any world cup for years....the only one they've won was in 1966 during the time men still wear pants to play football..a tournament of just 8 teams... so let England thrive wit those players first in the world cup, Euro nations cup... beat Brazil,Spain,France and Germany... then I we all can join in canvassing how good the championship is.... moreover....take a look at all the winning teams in the world cup and Euro nations cup....their players are scattered all around Europe they have those playing abroad...and lots more...e.g France...I think a player from the MLS was invited last time during their Euro quest...and they beat hell out of the lowly Iceland that whipped England. lastly if shehu playing in backwater league...could develop so much guts some he displayed in the last olympics and presently in the colours of the SE...then the epl and it's kind Should never be used to judge our players.... moreover this boys potentials are never in doubt...but just that not everyone got the opportunities those borough players enjoyed... well trained, groomed and cultured and happen to play in an organised league unlike here in Nigeria...I can tell you talents abound in Nigeria...should Nigeria have a league as organised as the south Africa or Algerian league.....we will likely win the world cup.. despite the organised league England has...at their disposal all they could get from it....in senior men's football is world cup qualification and nothing more. |

Kog45: Oh Iheanacho and thegoodjoe is like Ndidi and Michael2, Akpeyi,Mikel and icon4s, Komne and Nigeria born English player, Ajagun and forgiveness,Awaziem and Safarigirl,Mikel and Kog45 just to mention a few.
I believe when it reach a certain stage in d course of our discussion or arguments we should put aside our love or hate for a player and let football reason take over.
This is d only way we can have good and constructive analysis. In one of my comment yesterday i said Awoniyi was like a son to me but did u ever see me mentioning his name has a potential player to be in d WC team, not yet for him but if he make it fine.
Dele Aiyenugba very closed guy to me,am one of d people that make sure he signed his first professional contract as a footballer but I read all d heated arguments about him yesterday and my comment on him was on football reason,i did not allowed my judgment to be based on personal relationship.
Good to love a player but when it comes to reality we should face it and talk football without sentiments.
I can mention some monikers(icon4s, safarigirl,Bascon velli,tbaba1234,Humility, enomakos,Joseph1013) despite their likeness for a player when it reach certain point they come out and say d truth, this is more reason i hold Jobie and mujtahida in high esteem when it comes to unbiased football analysis.
For instance,i remember safarigirl was one of d championing of Tammy Abraham but now one of d strongest antagonist coz she believe he insulted Nigeria. Lol...that oga forgiveness and ajagun is legendary...then add raheem lawal, tiago ilori....you made his day. I understand all your wrote though.... we can't really rule out value from our perceptions and opinions...reason why there is still a debate that social sciences....despite the use of some scientific variable is still not a science.. I just pray we all throw our weight and unflinching support behind rohr when he finally release his 24 man list....even if our favorite players are not included after all it is not every time one must have his way |

forgiveness: Stop shifting goal posts.
Did you watch all the 10 games he played this season?
From zero goals to zero assist. Bhuuuhahaha!
The fact remains he scored 2 goals when he played in the AM 4 times. Meaning your claim that he didn't play from the middle is null and void. Period. EOD
Whether, he played 4 times as a RM(take note right midfield) and ones as a DMF are inconsequential. The fact remains that he played as the central maestro has been established. EOD next please.
Why did you hide the fact he played as the AM 4 times?
Please, answer my other questions and this. Thanks to be honest wit you...my brother. Alhassan stands a better chance to be called into the SE as an AM...Than Ajagun... reason because rohr already knows the first and even assessed him in training... ajagun will have to get involved in close to 20-25 goals this season to get rohr's attention |

Joebie: All those saying Rohr is not a tactician and he is conservative, you will swallow your words even before Russia. Rohr wanted to maintain the trusted formation and winning team during the qualifiers. That was playing safe. It's the right thing to do at that stage especially as we were winning. We were always on top of the group. really ? I pray rohr prove me wrong.... I will be so glad...but until then...the German remain a conservative coach |

Oasis007: Seem you expect him to request for a Tactician from the Board?! He would never ask the Federation to get him a tactics-Specialist coz he also believes in himself as a good Tactician.
However, there is difference between what's good for Rohr and what's good for the Team, thus I expect the Board to do the needful in this regard - the way they did with the recent Recruitment of a Keepers' Trainer. please to be honest I won't advise the federation to meld into this affairs... It will destabilise the team and attract the wrath of Nigerians... rather the management should grant him all supports and assistance he desires... because getting a tactician to support him...will also be an avenue for the vultures in glass house and Senate and ministries to milk from the national treasury... I can tell you...many are not happy seeing rohr head the SE they had wish one indigenous coach had manage to qualify us...and then after the qualification they begin shop for a quack foreign coach...where them too can make some cool cash from the sheddy deals |

Kog45: Truly not much difference but they cannot be compared coz i remember Bonfrere Jo was doing a lot for Clemens tactically and it was obvious but i don't know of Rohr may he has someone doing it for him too
Yes club football is totally different from national team football and cannot be compared tactically.Rohr already has his team and they are doing well,so to tamper with d team w not be easy especially on d verge of making it to d WC.
I see Rohr as a very conservative coach that need assistance in area of tactics coz i w not deceive u d team has been playing as a compact team which i understand.
I believe before WC things w take shape and we w see a better and balance team I saw this too... deep down I felt the assistant coach or one of the backroom staff initially told aina to warm up.... what have been winning games for rohr is...his man managing abilities, unbiased team selection and team spirit...the main backbone of rohr success thus far and not really tactics... especially being unbiased and non-loopsided team selection |

Don’t accept Tammy Abraham in Eagles, Adelabu tells NFF
Former Green Eagles winger , Adegoke Adelabu has advised the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF ) not to listen to England U -21 forward, Tammy Abraham, following reports that he has dropped another hint as regards his interest in switching allegiance to Nigeria after Super Eagles ’ qualification for Russia 2018 World Cup . During preparation for the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifier against Zambia , NFF president, Amaju Pinnick claimed that Chelsea striker Abraham, who is on loan at Swansea, had committed to declaring for Nigeria . However, the 19 -year-old Abraham quickly distanced himself from the claims. Now according to latest reports, Abraham allegedly confirmed two days ago that talks were on-going with Nigeria shortly after scoring for England U -21 in their 3-1 win over Scotland . For Adelabu, the latest turn around by Abraham should not be taken serious by the NFF . “Tammy should stay away from our national team . I want the NFF to use him as an example to other junior players, who feel that without them, Nigerian football won’ t go anywhere. Tammy has just realized that he might not be part of England ’ s squad to the World Cup in Russia, so he can quickly make a u-turn to Nigeria . No way . The NFF must not listen to him . We have enough players good to win the World Cup if only the team is well prepared. ” According to the report, Abraham, who has been ever present for the U -21 s of England that are top of their Euro 2019 qualifying group , liked and commented on a video posted by Alex Iwobi on Instagram .[/b]Football source: guardian news

jotey: (Photo Confirmation) Nigeria Target In Line To Make Eagles Home Debut Vs Chelsea
https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/19680Ladapo1.png
Nigeria Football Federation target Freddie Ladapo is in line to feature for the Eagles when they tackle champions Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
The ex-Flying Eagles invitee has been photographed training with the first team as Crystal Palace stepped up their preparations for the match day eight fixture against the Blues.
Manager Roy Hodgson is being forced to play Ladapo after first-choice striker Christian Benteke suffered an injury, and handed him his competitive debut in the 4-0 loss to Manchester United before the second international break of the season.
Before Ladapo's appearance at Old Trafford, the highest division in the pyramid he has played in was the third-tier for Oldham Athletic A.F.C and Shrewsbury Town.
The London-born striker played the last sixteen minutes against the Red Devils, and could come up against Super Eagles star Victor Moses on Saturday.
Crystal Palace have zero points and no goals after their first seven games of the new season.

Mujtahida: True that. Modern Football calls for such dynamism now ooo. That's why this cliché that you never change a winning team is one which has to be re-examined cos I feel the team has to be set up in accordance with the type of opponent one has to face, the personnel at one's disposal. Rohr stuck to the cliché and it nearly cost us cos Zambia and Cameroun don't play same kind of football. Yet I am not mindful of the pitfalls of always changing things but again that's what modern Football thrives on. Icon4s what do you say? Joebie. Humility017 the truth is rohr is more of a man manager than being technically gifted...so I don't expect him coming up with such changes as seen above.... he is a coach I see to have earn the respect of the players over a short space of time... Aina performance against Algeria will go tell if he will definitely be rohr first choice as far as the LB is concerned.....also for now I see shehu as one that will get to feature in that match....for ebuehi maybe in one of the friendlies he will get to play... to be honest the young lad ruin his chances...I really believe he would have get to play against Algeria in uyo had it been he snubbed Nigeria at first... then shehu had not lay hold on the RB slotid you remember...ndidi played that role against Zambia... I just pray the coach loosen up on his conservative approach to football prior the World cup...because Nigeria really have the squad to shock the World...come next year. for our CBs back up....rather than keep hopping over our German born players...why don't we go for tomori...of Chelsea in hull city for loan...I doubt that lad will ever reject SE considering Aina factor.. likewise illorfa |

alexialin: Of course!
Be patient, watchful and pray.
You will.
Ladies like me are everywhere but we are not the social media kind of ladies.
One.of my best friends, she's married, one of the managers to one of the leading Telecom companies in Nigeria. This woman., may God bless her soul is an ideal wife. In fact she inspires me so well. She's very beautiful , calm, cultured ,respectful and successful. We became close in one event like that. She always carries her husband along everything she does. The husband is also doing well. But the lady is just too humble, especially round the husband.
In my. Mind, I will be like this man will be thanking God everyday for giving him this type.of wife. And her husband is calm, cultured ,practical and grounded.
There is peace, love and mutual respect radiating around them and in their home. You can feel it when u are with them. It's not make believe. It's real.
She's a blessed woman lemme not lie.
And she inspires me Alot. She manages her home and career so well.. Nothing lacks.
May God bless her for coming into my life. Amen.
So don't loose hope..
Women like us still exist. It's just that men tend to judge us from afar that we will be arrogant and proud due to our beauty. So they steer clear just by sighting us. We are condemned as a proud player of men's heart.
But such judgement is a complete fallacy from who we are.
She's extremely beautiful and fair.. She dresses responsibly, in and out of office. She does not deliberately tempt men like some married women do these days. Wearing skimpy, revealing outfits upandan. She's beautifully modest And cultured. She and her mother in-law and sister in-laws are close. Infact her MIL takes and gists with her as if she's her real daughter. They check up on each other It's Amazing. Upon the terrible stories, one hear about MILs and wives. .just imagine this scenario of the two of them. And I was blown away with lots of emotions. I was like wow! For real? One day I hugged her ,almost sob as I prayed with her . She added to this change in my life.
I love peace and she inspires peace ,care and originality.
So that's it.. It's take a wise man to come close becomes friends with ladies like Us and realise we are far off from what the society tends to paint.. Mehn it's far off. thanks for this.... It really inspired me... I have saved the number on whatsap..you can remove it now. thanks... |

Sports › Re: Troost-ekong Blasts Sunday Oliseh After Super Eagles Qualify For 2018 World Cup by Humility017(m): 6:26pm On Oct 10, 2017 |
TheSuperNerd: Sunday Oliseh remains a bright and very intelligent coach tactically... his only problems with the Super Eagles were bad Man management (a key skill in coaching), bringing in "his boys" like Paul Onobi and Sylvester Igboun who are bloody average players and then his really Overbloated Ego.
But despite his flaws, he remains one of Africa's fast rising tactical minds in the beautiful game today. Under Oliseh, we saw massive improvements in one particular area of the Super Eagles that his been lacking for years during the mid 2000s era and early 2010s era... That area was "setpieces".... Nigeria became very dangerous from set pieces such as cornerkicks, freekicks (direct or indirect)... under him, Simon brought his A-game to direct freekicks and scored a beauty. Also we made use of our aerial prowess in Efe Ambrose back then in 2015 under Oliseh...
Truth is he added a dimension to our game which made us more dangerous to play against and Somehow, Rohr is putting that piece together again and I hope he builds on that fervently because if we must hurt teams we must be able to do so in many different ways... relying on just Wing plays and individual brilliance and Mikel's creativity and Iwobi's fluidity or Nacho's clinicality or Victor Moses' one man army " tear them apart" style won't be enough....
Finals and tight games are also won by set pieces... one corner and a header and it is over... case study is Euro 2004 final... and also Nigeria 2009 U-17 WC final.
So Oliseh gave Nigeria that extra edge in making us wickedly clinical and deadly from set pieces... let Rohr build on that in addition to all the great work he is doing already and we will have a Super Juggernaut of a team.
But on Ekong... telling him, Oyibos are too soft for the African game...Hahahahaha... Oliseh was bloody wrong and we have the Oyibo wall to prove it... lol
The Oyibo Wall....
