Mikel did his job in the team, that does not make him a legend. Yaya Toure was a vital part of the 2008 treble winning barca side, still he isn't a Barca legend
to you he is not a legend...
but to Chelsea board and many Chelsea fans outside he is....even John Terry called him so...

so it's your opinion....you can live wit it

do you know when Douglas Perreira(you haven't heard the name abi?) left Barca what the Barca site announced? 'Barcelona Superstar moves to so so and so club'. Is Douglas a superstar? It's called courtesy
see how you shifting goal post...
so Chelsea was just applying courtsey ?
how many players have them addressed in such way ?

you leave me surprised sometimes the way you downplay these players achievements.
you think mikel was not a good material but still he survived the influx of coaches that managed Chelsea during his 10 years era.....and partook in the club milestone of winning the ucl

he appears in just two or three. Can you compare Mikel's achievements to any of Lampard or Drogba?

We did win the Afcon with Mikel holding our midfield, the U20 too(not SE but still) plus Olympics(granted he messed up at the world cup) but he was also great at the Confed cup so SE legend? Absolutely
please go watch the champions league final again against bayern Munich...
please do and come tell me....his ratings from that match...

Ok sef,dis Mikel u re calling a legend,he has never been nominated as a top 15 best player in Europe,so what re u saying, Mikel effort was a collective one,no be say baba do one extra ordinary thing to rescue d team for once

Go and check legends now, shey na Gerrard we wan talk against Acmilan 2005,or Fa cup final 2006 liverpool against west ham,Go and watch those two matches again and knw what a legend means
you should forward this long epistle of yours to Chelsea board...that calls him a legend...
to you he may not be one..
but not to the club....

most people misunderstand this legendary thing, shevchenko is a bigger player compare to Mikel in the wider picture, but he Shevy is not a Chelsea legend. A player that gave more than 10yrs to a club, help the club to win every single trophy and someone will still argue. Go argue with Chelsea board members that called him a Chelsea legend, a club in England called a player their legend and someone down here in Nigeria wants to question the club, that's the height.....
I know someone here who can argue this out even wit Chelsea board that mikel is not a legend...

Sorry there is no list on why people engage in sexual immorality. There is just one reason and that is, people do not know their body is not theirs to do as they please. Until we realize this, we'll keep seeing threads and posts on people auctioning Virginity, begging to be disvirgined, body no be firewood, konji na bastard, testing the drive and safe sex.

Every other reason that pushes people to commit fornication is nullified when you consider this reason.

You cannot give out what is not yours, can you?

We are nothing but souls occupying a body we are not permitted to use for intercourse till we've been rightly joined in marriage. Our body is not ours. It belongs to God and when married, our spouse. Easy as ABC. Don't let the world confuse you.

Lalasticl.ala, help these people hear.
you wrote true...
God bless you for this.

sorry but I don't agree that he should train with the world cup bound squad based on grooming of his potential if he is good enough then he can be invited on merit. If not he can continue to improve at club level when by God's grace we beat zambia to qualify for the world cup we can then call him up with other hopefuls for the game against algeria to get a good look at them to see if they are good enough
what's wrong wit young lads train wit their natoonal team players...
I remember solanke once trained on several occasions wit the 3 Lions squad.
it ignite in them the zeal and ambition to work harder....
I will like rohr to call up at least young players like oshimen and many others even from the league or even nff special tournament like the nff promise competition under 15 and the zenith under 15 football competition...
we're outstanding young players can be granted the olive branch to train wit the national team....
and get to learn one or two things to take home and build on

Firstly the EPL is the most international league in the World without any doubt. The 5/6 top EPL clubs are capable of fielding a 1st 11 without a single English players. On average the top 5 clubs will very rarely have more than 3/4 English players in the team.

In comparison the the Spanish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese first division teams are the complete opposite.

Your analogy is without substance as national team prominence and or superiority is not a reflection of the domestic league quality.

Which leagues do the top players in the world play? What league does the cream of the Dutch team play in.

England is ranked currently at about 15 but the EPL is ranked in the top 3 in the world in some assessments it is ranked number 1

So your comments is prejudiced sentiment very far from objective observations and or measurement.
your last paragraph was not necessary...
because we all don't reason the same way...
I understand you took it personal...because you feel i berates England...in my words.

you can tell with the exception of Chelsea and man city the rest top 5 club in the epl have over 4 English players...moreover going by your previous assertion on this thread....you do believe the supremacy of the English championship over the 11th place team beneath in German Budisliga, French league, Belgium etc wit the exception of Spain
so why the fuss?
the truth remains those players paraded by England in last world cup and European nations cup where Iceland sent them packing are all from the epl and sure starters in their various clubs....
same epl you hype here every day.

let me say this.....you see publicity and the media hype don't play football...
players do...and right there in the field of play you can never give what you don't have.

same Iceland wit a league you will even compare to supreme epl under 19 wallop them and in the world cup they manage to draw Costa Rica....

i just want to let you...know...
that playing in the epl should not be a standard you rate dear players of super eagles....
or any other good players elsewhere.

He may be doing so but the league he is in is a weak one. The reality is that Ebuehi no disrespect intended will struggle to get into the U21 of a EPL top six academy.

However, he has been invited and should be given a chance to show what he can do. He should not be left to just make up numbers.
you've started again with this your epl supremacy...
same epl players that could not take England beyond group stage in the last world cup....where Netherland with so much of their own league players....
clinch the bronze medal...and Uruguay even wit MLS players gave them two unreplied goals

Some of the rudiments of coaching:

1. You don't change a winning formation.
2. You don't change a winning team.
the way you take sides wit some coaches ineptitude or weakness leaves me surprised.
same way you backed salisu home based team selection...
you make this coach look like a demigod
