Leicester City ’s Ahmed Musa has announced that he will open a sports and fitness centre in Kano on June 15.

The Nigeria international disclosed that the multipurpose sports building that is located in his home state, Kano will be named after him as Ahmed Musa Sports and Fitness Centre.

The 24-year-old forward netted twice in 21 league games for the Craig Shakespeare’s side that finished 12th in the English topflight log.

How would you rate this humanitarian act by Ahmed Musa who has enjoyed quite a fair start to life in England?

safarigirl:
some people on this thread have a certain pattern the regulars are used to. Hence, it is hard to accept their arguments as 'facts' most of the time.

This Kelechi matter no be here. In one year, the boy has been compared to Dembele, Rashford, Martial, Mbappe, G Jesus, Dybala sef.

Only Kelechi, this young talent from the streets of Imo state, in Nigeria. This happy African boy, this boy who started his career with monkey post grin now being compared to players that were born inside one football academy in Europe or were taught the rudiments by the likes of Beckham, Pele and great names in world football. Before UAE, which big name had Kelechi met in football?

If no be God, how else did Kelechi get to this point? It is a great thing to be mentioned among the world's brightest talents, when last did we have anyone raising Africa's flag in world football like this?

If Kelechi was reading these arguments, he will just be saying "Chineke, onye ka'm bu?" grin grin
Lol....Dear you're right.
I remember am Israeli scouts who once said all over the streets of Nigeria they exist talents who played better than Dembele of Celtic and co
I think the problem of many is their preoccupation wit anything western...
moreover like I said before and you repeated it again.... kelechi emergence is completely different from these lads...who were grown in academics of the round leather game... the emergence of the young lad all a result of Grace and hardwork and I am so proud of him...I still believe given the opportunity he will definitely outsmart and play better than these demi gods some here adore.

Martial is still a wonderful talent... I tip Mbappe to be better than Martial though...

But yeah you are right... I see what you mean... the talks then was how fantastic he was compared to Nacho...

Look If Mbappe means business, he will stay one more season at Monaco before making the move to a side like Madrid.... He reminds me of young Benzema at Lyon back then... Mbappe should follow his devt plans and his heart... not the hypes.

Mickael2:
for the record, I never said Iheanacho isn't talented. I didn't reply the guy's comment because well it's just ridiculous and wasn't close to what I said. The point there was that he called Wilshere an average player with hype(or atleast he implied that) so I corrected him, how Iheanacho entered the conversation there I would never know.

Secondly I don't diss on our players alone, if you go to a Barca site, Barcablaugranes.com you will see me sometimes pointing out that Neymar needs to be subbed, dude hogs the ball a lot and his decision making isn't great for a player of his age, so I just push sentiments aside. Besides you no see where I dey shout Kayode's name? Or where I was defending Onyekuru? Or maybe you didn't see when I was continously saying that Iwobi is better than Rashford?
thanks you made me know...
please let's stop that childish comparism
that A is better than B
players have different things to offer....
moreover they all grew in different environment and background... and subject to different development
so comparing them tends to neglect their uniqueness...
I have read your comments here where you loose it on Mikel, and onazi

Do the search yourself.... I have taken my time to drop news after news of our players transfers from various foreign sites om this thread and I see them weekly and daily... so plsss search for it... don't be lazy now... do it! if you so care... lol

Nacho didn't play much against the top 4 even... yet he got a fine goal against Bad-ass Tottenham... a fine goal it was too... wink

And just look at how you wanna play down that beautiful individual performance he put in Aguero's absence against Man Utd in that derby.... smh... man, your dislike for Nacho is real. You wanna talk about Mbappe... go right ahead but stop your "bring-him-down" approach to Nacho just to hype Mbappe....

And like I said... Nacho has done enough with less time in the EPL... and The EPL is better and more competitive than Ligue1... so stop your yammerings.
it reminds me of Antonio martial who attain almost similar strides for Monaco only to come to the EPL na....and still trying to find his footings

So iheanacho isn't talented?

This is why I hate comparisons.

Our admiration for him, and that we express it enthusiastically should be a source of motivation to him for him to reach higher heights in his career, not pulling him down with negativity.
one thing I observe about that guy
is that he is someone that go any length to pull down his own...
he does not believe in his own even when it obvious to all how gifted they're..
I remember him ridiculing Mikel sometime ago...
he only knows formations and team strategies and not players potentials and talents...
I remember a tweet from a west ham..fan. he was so much joyful getting to know they wanna get such a clinical forward... and said £24m for such a forward is not a transfer but stealing ...he came too cheap.

I think it will make him more of an EEA player. He won't be referred to as "foreign" anymore if he can achieve this citizenship by age 22. So relax.... I think his handlers are not entirely off point... they know if Nacho does exceptionally well at West Ham, his price/market value will rise and his being considered a UK citizen and an EEA-marked player will place good premiums on him. wink

And uhmmm, his handlers/managers are foreigners too ooo... not only Nigerians.
OK...if you say so

Exclusive – Agent Gives Reasons Why West Ham Bound Iheanacho Won’t Join PSG

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/ACB1D86E-A22B-4FE5-8F14-DF71F94D17D4-3258-000000F7747799E8.jpeg

The intermediary of out of favour Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho says the 20 year old won’t be joining French giants PSG following reports of a bid for his services by the Ligue 1 side.

Iheanacho move to West Ham United is all but sealed for a fee in excess of 20 miilion pounds but several issues including, Manchester City buy back option clause and his image right tussle between agents is holding up any official announcement of the deal.

The 20 year old left the camp of the Nigeria national team in France on Saturday morning for London, where talks were concluded on his possible departure with the hierarchy of Manchester City.

” Talks with West Ham are very advanced I must confess, and barring any last minute hiccup he will end up joining them. If not them then any other team in England but not outside England “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” He is not interested in a move away from England for now. He is two years away from getting his papers as a citizen, so moving away from England at this time is a non starter particularly as they are interested in him from England.

” That said offers have come in from outside England, but his immediate priority is to stay in England, reasons why the offer from West Ham ticks the right box”.

Patrick Kluivert Reveals Ajax Still Pushing To Sign Arsenal, Barcelona Linked Nigerian Prodigy

https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/80072Lateef.jpg

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam have not thrown in the towel as regards to the pursuit of American-born Nigerian wonderkid Lateef Omidiji Jnr.

Bearing it in mind that the highly-rated teenager can't be signed by a foreign club until he attains the age of majority, Feyenoord pulled off a transfer coup when they snapped him up from Dordrecht FC last month.

Despite that, Real Madrid and Barcelona are still in the hunt to land Omidiji as they believe the kid is the future of world football.

Ajax Amsterdam hero Patrick Kluivert, who is now the director of football for Paris Saint-Germain, has revealed that Ajax are still interested in the young striker, but he will do everything possible to bring him to PSG.

It is believed that Premier League side Arsenal have an agreement in place to sign Omidiji when he turns eighteen.

Meanwhile, it is understood that the United States Soccer Federation are on the verge of making a major announcement with regards to the international future of Lateef Omidiji, while the Nigerian and Dutch FA are also interested in capping the player.

I keep saying it... if Etebo was Etebinho who scored four goals in one game at the Olympics plus his star sparkling performances for the Super Eagles since he walked into Rohr's team, he would have been wrapping up the 2016/17 season with either PSG, Man Utd, Leicester, Monaco, Atletico, Madrid even (he got more fuel and energy than Casemiro #fact)..... nonsense!!!! Exclusive : Lyon Scouting Super Eagles New Star Oghenekaro Etebo In France

https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/58565Etebo.jpg

French Ligue 1 club Lyon are mulling over a summer move for Nigeria U23 poster boy Oghenekaro Etebo.

A Lyon insider has informed this website that they are delighted with the performances of the midfielder since he linked up with Portuguese setup CD Feirense in 2016, and will continue to observe him when Nigeria tackle Togo in Paris on Thursday.

''The player Etebo is also being looked at by OL (Olympique Lyonnais), he is very pacy,'' a Lyon insider told
allnigeriasoccer.com .

''Scouts there tell us he might fit well into their team with three high profile expected departures from their midfield/attack this summer.''

With Etebo yet to sign a new contract with CD Feirense, the Primeira Liga outfit are willing to cash in on the Nigerian or he'll leave for nothing at the end of the 2017-2018 season.
