Sincerely based on this STATS Amunike's chance of becoming SE's coach is very slim, yet looking at grade Y white oaches that as been employed before him I will give it to him.

Nevertheless, methinks Amunike's STATS is the most poorest for SE's coaching job in recent years so he doesnt deserves that job because of empathy. Or can anyone marry a woman because of empathy?
Bro we're in a world qualification year

The last time we missed out on the world cup
Meaning taking the risk of appointing him is very risky..imagine the likes of Oshimen and co miss out on another world cup ?

God abeg ooo I pray the NFF yield to the words of reason because this is the only thing that bring Nigerians happiness.

We don't need indigenous coach sentiments to appoint a coach for super eagles

Even football countries like Portugal and Austria have foreign coaches managing their national team

If Manu is better than Amunike or Finidi then we are in troubles but one thing about Nigeria coaching job is that the best is not always having it.I just hope Amunike is getting it on competence not through back door
Which competence. The lobbying and sentiments was too much

Big Sheg wey don dey vie for the NFF chair since time immemorial nko? What we need to understand is that things don't always appear as they seem. The underhanded tactics and shenanigans going on in the FA and by extension Nigeria 🇳🇬 at large is what is costing us big. Have we ever had any square peg in square holes ? It's all political
The set of Segun don't really have money like okocha and kanu set just that this guys are not just ambitious like their counterparts in other countries

but on a more serious note, I believe the eagles would play more of a possessive game now.
But possessive game does not necessitate better win ratio.
Make everybody mind dey o Tor .
Because we knw how e end for Tanzania o
Same possessive football he played with Tanzania at afcon they were leading Uganda by 2 goals to nil Uganda came back from behind to win that match I think 3 goals to 2

His defense is always porous and can barely hold down a lead

He should get someone like Yobo as assistant

Anyway in all seriousness now is the time to back him up to succeed 100% we may all have our misgivings about his appointment but let's just believe his tenure will bring much success to the SE. Not that he should be immune from criticism when wrong or team is floundering but let's just believe he will succeed on the job.
Immune kini?

Person may i go criticise if he mess up I go copy supernerd and the two joe sef.
But of a truth I pray he succeeds and stay clear of sentiments in players selection

Thanks!!! Manu was really poor and Amunike was at best mediocre in the NPFL. However, in my own books, he didnt exceptionally well in Tanzania.
For the past 20 years this is the most average indigenous coach let's add Equaevon too.

Considering the likes of Keshi, Siasia, Christian Chukwu, Amodu etc so unfortunate that we are in a world cup qualification year

I am really surprised some people are clamoring for Manu as SE coach. I have made mention of Nigeria vs Brazil U20 match at the group stage where Manu was in charge. It was TACTICAL CLUELESSNESS in full display.
Yes you made a point

How about Amunike led under 20 team against Sudan and could not even qualify for AYC

At least manu side played Brazil at the under 20 world cup in new Zealand

Had your Manu venture out of Naija to Coach before?

Are their 2 both winners with U17, and Same record with U20, Since then what had Manu being doinghuh
Manu had a successful career with under 20 compare to Amunike

Well as regard experience of coaching abroad. ..Amunike coached abroad and got fired on 3 occasions his performance was so poor. Siasia has never coached abroad but he is way competent than the duo

Anyway I wish Amunike the best

*Olumide Ajibolade is 2nd assistant coach

Newly appointed coach of NPFL side Sporting Lagos, Abdullahi Biffo, has been named as the first assistant coach of the Golden Eaglets.

The former Katsina United and Kwara United coach is a resident of the United States of America, where he has bagged several coaching badges.

Biffo also applied to be the head coach of the national U17s.

Beyond Limits Football Academy coach Olumide Ajibolade is the Eaglets second assistant coach.

Definitely local coach. He also spoke of financial challenges the association is facing and increase in exchange rate.
Even when it comes to local coach
I will pick Manu Garba to coach the super eagles over Amunike

He successfully managed under 17 and under 20 and even an NPFL side

The other one had a failed career in Zambian and Egyptian league and under 20

We are not telling ourselves truth in this country

The under 20 job too I don't know how Ladan Bosso merit that job

I even doubt having such a fellow as assistant? Because they can sabotage the effort of the main man

Finidi, Amokachi and Salisu remain the best assistant to me. Very calm and interested in the over all team success.

If not Siasia or any in the calibre of keshi none of them deserve the super eagles at this moment

Like I said. Highly influential people are backing that Buiju Banton. He will likely be the next SE coach.
Amunike is better than that guy abeg

Domenec Torrent stands out for me

Gave the Yankees the best season run in the league

For flamingos he won 15 and lost 6 out of 26 matches he managed. He was used as a scape goat because the club was going through an ordeal at that time

His stats for Gala don't seems too impressive

But we need a manager that bring that fluidity in our midfield

The spread is where I think Akpata miscalculated. Because I really don’t understand the political capital that the woman he chose as running mate is bringing to his ticket.

But should LP get the simple majority and fail to get the spread and things go to run-off, you know it would be easy victory for Akpata especially if he’s up against Okpebholo.

See, I don’t think Edo people are ready to vote APC again.
The APC candidate likely will clear edo central. He is a grass root politician in Esan and he will perform poorly in edo south. In edo north oshomhole may help him get overwhelming majority. All the APC needs is for LP and PDP to cancel each other in edo south
