Marjoribanks: The Malian coach removed his best players thinking the match is over!
That decision might cost him his job and potentially first AFCON trophy! Same th ing Pasiero does when ever he bring in Onauchu instead of Moffi that can pressure the defense and score |

Curtisaxel17: Sure, I did. Did you watch Moffi's games this season? Can you tell me that with such a player, we would miss Osimhen a lot if Osimhen got injured?
Of course they are two different players so don't come and compare their speed and jump. But with Moffi's strengths in terms of ball tenacity, decision making, offside awareness/ positioning, accurate shooting, etc, I wouldn't lose any sleep if Osimhen was unavailable. And then there is Iheanacho, another potential CF.
Osimhen is highly replaceable, Sir. I am not really happy with Pasiero not giving Moffi a playtime even if it is 10Mins. I understand sha the man has never won a laurel in all his coaching career sha. This is the first time...So he is trying to stick to his lucky team and subs |

Omanambala: Onyeka is playing a different role from Iwobi. Iwobi's job is to control the game which comes with being efficient with passes. Onyeka is playing defensive midfield and back to back midfield. Iwobi was removed because after the first half he was spent and became a liability to the team. Onyeka held that midfield and controlled it after Iwobi was removed.
In case, you haven't noticed, Onyeka has stamped his influence and authority in that team. He is very key and almost irreplaceable in that team. Perhaps, his quiet nature isn't helping him.
I watched him deliver long and short accurate passes. He bossed that midfield yesterday. I think you guys have a preference for Iwobi for some reasons.
Onyeka is the spine of this squad! Mazi do u really know football at all? Iwobi is iireeplacable in that team. He connects the midfield and attack. Maybe when we get either of Eze or Olise then we can bench Iwobi that if they adapt to africa football Iwobi fluid passes and football intelligence is uncommon. If u have any problem with him...That's fine but when it comes to the super eagles...give him his flowers |

yinkeys: We hope this doesn’t affect us in the semis Imagine being 1 goal up and the opponent score in 85th minute because coach doesn’t bring in fresh legs early Momentum is a powerful force and it could adversely affect us The game against Cameroon was better than what we saw against Angola Our players seemed tired in the second half Not covering enough distance They need to up their game in the semis I think the semis would be very tough and draining To be honest with u Pasiero is very annoying. Why remove Oshimen put in Onauchu? Can Onauchu get you goals had it been Angola later scored and dragged that game to extra time? The coach need to understand Musa, Moffi and Iheancho abilities most especially Musa with Afcon experience Imagine the experience Ekong brings. This would've been missed had it been he didn't include Ekong in the team |

Someone who plays as right back in lower tier division Moffi should be given his chance The match be like extra time thing Leave this people to them oshimen is Yekini and Aghahowa combined. He does no wrong even when he misses the midfielders will be blamed. He is the only potent striker in Nigeria that can keep defenders in their toes, he has all round play and he is a poacher with just 1 goal It is even good Orban or Akor Adams were not called because na bench they go for dey. |

MetalJigsaw: If Osimhen isn't present that's a different case. Putting a highly notorious goal poacher Osimhen on the bench in a crucial game is not a wise call.
That guy keeps defenders on their toes and causes them to commit errors that leads to goals. His movement and presence also draws their attention to himself which is a leeway for our wingers to cause damage
If the wingers were doing well I'm sure our goals return wouldn't have been this bad. Goal paocher with just one goal I don't know how to tell you guys this During AFCON an unexpected player most times steal the show Like Amunike in 1994 Osaze in 2004 Sunday Mba in 2013 You give all your players chance to prove themselves you never can tell who the lucky one is I will remind you guys when Nigeria leaves the tournament |

comodo: Even with 10 men against Tunisia @ Afcon he still pushed Tunisia to the end if not that our attackers forgot their scoring booth. He even played Ghana with 2 major absentees in the MF but still out played and out muscled them even in their backyard. Our undoing was still our strikers. SE boasts of fearsome strike force. But I have not seen them come to the party when push comes to shove. Maybe they will prove me wrong this time and start burying even half chances. Exactly I really need to apologize to that man. Afcon have really thought me something that a coach must be willing to take risks with all his players because he never can tell which will shine Equaevon problem against Tunisia was starting iwobi from the bench..... and against Ghana he was just unlucky |

MetalJigsaw: That's is a call for disaster. You can't bench the most deadliest striker in the tournament. His presence alone is a handful for defenders.
And don't just conclude on him so soon. A sleeping lion is more dangerous than a lively dog. So if Oshimen was not in this team you guys will not play? The earlier you understand that in most afcon that Nigeria has done well usually an unexpected player steals the show 2002 AFCON Julius Aghahowa In 2004 AFCON it was Osaze In 2013 AFCON it was Sunday Mba Kanu Kwankwo our all time best player and two times AFRICA Best player have no AFCON goal. You need to understand that somehow it may be Iheancho or moffi afcon to shine |
