yeah, we all know that cattle colony or ranching is the solution.
But the Federal Government shouldn't be the one buying land and providing grazing grass for this herdsmen.
The have been selling their cows for millions of naira daily in cattle markets around the country, so many of them can easily afford to buy ranches.
We should stop rewarding criminality in this country please. Instead of the Government talking about how to compensate farmers who lost their lives to this murderous herdsmen from hell, and put 'em in jail, the are trying so hard to convince us that this murderers should be rewarded with a ranch , so that the can stop killing. |

Family › Re: MY MARRIAGE IS FINALLY OVER! by hungryboy(m): 10:31pm On Jan 30, 2018 |
LadyPresh1: When you were first married, you probably felt understood, heard, and connected with your husband. You were polite. You didn’t want to hurt him – and he was sensitive to your feelings. But time passes, and the stress of daily life and kids, jobs, money, house, aging parents and health issues take a toll…and you find that you don’t have the time and patience it takes to be polite. This isn’t necessarily a sign your marriage is over – it just means you need to make time and effort to communicate with love and respect. This personal mantras have kept me going in my relationship.
Again, If your husband had an affair and wants to rebuild your relationship, then crack open the champagne and celebrate! The good news is that marriage infidelity by itself to me is not a sign your marriage is over. I know many couples survive marital unfaithfulness, and many have an even stronger bond because of the cheating. But mine is so different, your man brings her home and say it to your face, he is tired of you.
Today is a month, woke up this morning in utter shock that I am actually divorced. I had to say it out loud to sort of remind myself. I am divorced. Here are the facts: One, I have been living apart from my now ex-husband for a month. Therefore, I’ve had some time to get used to this single life and single parenting thing. “Is your marriage over?” Without hesitation, the reply came, “Yes.” Seriously, in my head, I was screaming, “It is?! Because honestly, deep down, I thought the trigger would never be pulled on this. So what all this means is, yes, I’ve gotten a bit used to parts of this new life of mine, but oh my word — I didn’t think it was going to actually happen. I’m so far from being healed and ready for my next chapter in life that it’s not even funny.
Do not get it twisted, I've severally on my real account seek for advise on how to resurrect my already sinking marriage. I was able to meet wonderful people here who begged they remain anonymous. Lawyers and welfare officers too who took my case upon their shoulders. I really appreciate. GOD BLESS! I would give link to my personal account as an evidence to this. Wouldn't go further with details. I was a fool for attempting suicide three consecutive times in my marriage. When at some point you were told to your face that you were only married to procreate. He brings this lady home, pushes you out and tell you that both you and your people can't do nothing. I've cried and now I'm healed.
You said I should quit school that you would help further my education, you asked I don't do anything and take care of your kids for you. I sneaked to learn trade and on finding out, you abused me of using your money to learn a trade, took my ATM, pin and sent me packing that I'm offensively annoying. Thanks to the good people of this great forum for seeing me through all this. Your words of encouragement to stay for my kids. Heeded to every advice, stayed, but he got worse. I can't live with another woman in the same house. It was killing me. I was like a slave, became a shadow of my own self. With some little money I was able to gather around, took the courage and filed for a divorce with the help of good people here. Finally, marriage is over. I’ve had some time to get used to this single life and single parenting thing. I left with my kids, parents ain't comfortable with my action because of their status. I understand, no wealthy or influential parents would allow a daughter to pass a meagre of what I've passed through. He was my first.
I seize this opportunity to call on good citizen of Nigeria to help me out. I'm Nicodemusly an active member on my other account. Can as well prove or provide any evidence you might need to verify the authenticity of this post. Want to start the food stuff business. Anything or help at all will be well appreciated. If I can pay for a store and have anything left, would get some food stuffs and start from there. I am a strong woman, it's all about you, your kids , and your happiness. Dont give a damn about other people's opinion. Better to be single than stay in sn abusive marriage. I'll advice you to contact this woman on facebook named Olu Bunmi, she is an anti domestic violence activist based in the UK and she has been helping out many abused women to start afresh. Search for her on facebook and send her a message. |

smirn: Just as the airlines are private business too but am surprised at government building and maintaining airports. The truth remains that any state coming up with anti open grazing law should make lands easily accessible to the herdsmen. Facilities such as loan should be given to them to finance their ranching business just like farmers who are given loans, seedlings and fertilizer subsidy to grow their crops. Not until we relinquish hatred towards ourselves as a people Nigeria will remain in this sorry state. i bet this guy na hausa fulani, cos na dem alone dey always see things from an ethnic perspective. Maybe i should school you again, since e dey like say dem waste your fees for school. Government builds an airport, private airlines pay for landing and parking their aircraft, and Government makes money second point, last time i checked, this herdsmen were not indigenes of Benue, if the wish to get a loan to buy a ranch, the should go back to their state of origin, Benue State or any other state will only give a farmer loan if he is an indigene of their state. Thirdly you should reserve that advise for your brothers up North who only vote and support someone based on tribal and religious sentiments not by competence, cos majority of us down South , will support any candidate , not based on which God he worships, but based on competence, |

Ekweremadu is spot on, cattle rearing is a private business, if you wish to ranch cattle, buy land and ranch it.
Last time i checked, the revenues Fulani made from selling their cattle wasn't paid into the federation account.
So government doesn't owe 'em land for use in ranching their cattle. |

TERRORISTS.
Definition of terror:To use fear, intimidation and violence to intimidate people. comparing Ipob to fulani herdsmen is like spitting on the graves of thousands , this herdsmen have killed, and the tragic part is that , Buhari's Government isn't making plans to label 'em a terrorist group . Let's stop comparing death with sleep abeg. Ipob did advocate for violence but the never went through with it. i'll rather have a guy who talks about killing around, than a guy who kills without talking about it. |

Politics › To End This Bloodshed, Ban Open Grazing Of Cattle by hungryboy(op): 9:23pm On Jan 17, 2018 |
I stumbled on a news article, in which our Minister of Agriculture , Audu Ogbeh was talking about establishhing cattle colonies for herdsmen and importing grasses from Brazil for the cattle to feed on, since our local grasses are not too good for Cattle's consumption, i was so furious that night,
why are we ruled by so many stupid people and why do so many not so smart people get to be ministers in this country?.
Cattle rearing like Pig Farming, Goat Herding, Fish Farming etc is a personal business, the Government owes the cattle rearer nothing, if you wish to rear cattle, buy a ranch and rear your cattle, if we were in a sane country, moving cattle to graze on Peoples' farm , will be a criminal offence, even herding cattle on the street will get your cattle seized and the herder jailed.
I listened to the ediot Miyetti Allah Cattle Rearer's association Spokesman, saying States dont have any right to ban cattle grazing because the have freedom of movement, as enshrined in our constitution, the ediot forgot that , your freedom of movement is allowed not that of your cow.
This Cattle rearers dont provide a necessary service, the have no right or power to hold this country to ransom
Can Nigerians survive without eating cow meat, Yes. Goat meat sef is sweeter, and we have other sources of protein in abundance.
The only sane thing to do, is to ban open grazing of cattle, but since we are in a shithole of a country, i bet our President or our Legislators wont be talking about that.
So many have died yet our leaders aren't looking for ways to stop this menace once and for all to avoid unnecessary loss of lives of our people, maybe is because it's only the poor that are getting killed that's why the have this nonchalant attitude about this issue, maybe it will be until the loss someone the care about, before the will try to address this issue once and for all . |

All you need to enjoy this earth is not to break principles. The only issue is that there is a day of judgement for all men, and the requirement for your freedom is to recognize and believe in Him as the Savior and Lord. My dear I will ask you, what is your plan for life after death. As you go to sleep tonight, I am not telling you to pray to someone you do not believe exist. Just say to yourself I want to know the real mystery behind life and death and go and sleep... Come back here and tell us what you saw... na fear of death and afterlife dey keep this one for church. It's kind of sad that people still believe in God . A god we were told has the power to do all things and nothing is impossible for him to do, yet there is so much violence , killings, and suffering and hunger in this world , and he is too impotent to act.
