The management of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited (OMSL) has debunked any knowledge or involvement in the physical attack of the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman, at the National Assembly.

NPA boss Ms. Hadiza Usman petitioned the President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan alleging that she was physically attacked by hoodlums at the premises of the National Assembly in Abuja on Tuesday.

She claimed that her attack was sponsored by Chairman of Messrs Ocean Maritime Solutions Limited (OMSL), Captain Wells Okunbo apparently over the decision of the NPA on the Secure Anchorage issue after attending investigative hearing in the Assembly.

She said that she was only saved a bigger assault by her security agents who took her into Senator Danjuma Goje’s office where she waited for the hoodlums to leave.

Reacting to the allegation, Commodore Chuma Adogu (rtd), said the allegation was a falsehood and a figment of imagination, saying the Chairman of OMSL, Captain Wells Okunbo, a fine gentlemen who has served the nation diligently in various capacities, could not have sponsored thugs to attack the NPA boss.

Commodore Adogu (retired) noted that on that Tuesday there was no any sign of such alleged attach or rented crowd in the premises of the National Assembly that could warrant such allegation, maintaining that OMSL Management came to the National Assembly just like other invited organizations on the day of the investigation by the Joint Committee of the Senate investigating the Secure Anchorage Area (SAA).

‘’On the day of the investigation at the National Assembly, we came like other invited organizations and we never came with any thugs or rented crowd to harass anybody talkless the Managing Director of NPA. The security at the premises of the National Assembly was very tight as everybody was routinely checked and controlled while entering thus forestalling any rented crowd or thugs to gain entrance. We came before the panel and presented our position in the SAA without nursing hatred against anyone.

‘’Let me make it clear to the Nigerian public that OMSL is a responsible corporate organization with a lot of Nigerians working as its employees. We are mindful of this and never can we trade it away. I repeat, we do not have hands nor did our Chairman sponsor any group of thugs to attack Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman. We see this as part of the attempts to discredit OMS and distract attention from the main issue which is already with the Senate’’ he submitted.

As part of events lined up by the Federal Head of Service to mark its 41st Council on establishments Participants from the said council which is currently ongoing in Asaba, the Delta State Capital today paid a visit to the Mount Ned Nwoko Resort and Tourism Center.

Interestingly, the accusation of sexual misconduct against prophet T.B. Joshua has taken a twist with the admission of the lady involved that she was paid money to smear the name of the cleric shortly after his exploits in Israel.

According to the Nigerian online Portal, The Pointer News, Vicki Royce, an upcoming singer based in Lagos state confessed that ,’She was paid to carry out the evil act’ in accusing Joshua of rape and experienced a mental breakdown ever since her name was embroiled in the scandal.
It would be recalled that shortly after the COZA rape saga erupted, multiple Nigerian bloggers Carried the news alleging Royce was raped by Joshua in 2012, even though she didn’t specifically mention his name in the tweets where she recounted the purported assault .

Several days later, Royce retorted online that Joshua was not the one who abused her, although the story of his sordid involvement had already spread in the Nigerian social media platforms.

International preacher and popular television evangelist and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, has called for special prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari and the nation of Nigeria.

He had indicated then that “be calm, there is no cause for alarm. Those who will cause trouble will see trouble. Those who want peace will see peace. There is no need to stock food.

After the election, there will be a lot of situations. When it is about to rain, the cloud will gather and it will become dark. But after the darkness comes light. But you will respect God after the election…If anything happens to Nigeria, that will be the end of Africa.”

The event which had been slated to commence at 12pm had participants coming in their large numbers with every race represented. For Robert Nath from Australia, it was a fulfillment of God’s promise. “What I saw could only have been God. No man could have done all these. I saw those who had given up hope about life. Joshua Winterstrand, from Poland, insisted that all planes should lead to Israel for the event. “When I heard that SCOAN and Emmanuel TV would be holding a crusade in UK, I told myself that I would be there. I came believing and I am glad that God did not disappoint me. We have also been told that Prophet Joshua will be visiting Israel for a power-packed program. If what we saw in UK could be this powerful with only the junior evangelists ministering, we can only imagine the extent of God’s power that would be in operation when Prophet TB Joshua will be physically present to pray for the sick and deliver the oppressed through God’s power. Israel is blessed to have such visitation. The whole world will be watching. All planes should lead to Israel for that encounter. I will be there and I know that millions will be there for such encounter,” he said.
