Ahmadu Alli is Obasanjo's good friend, this could be a ploy to bring baba back to the fold, in any case Baba has no option now but to support GEJ now, his Kwankwaso calculation has fallen flat, and he will surely not want GMB to win. |

The southwest and the northern are the most selfish people I have ever seen.
How may pass president between the northern and the southwestern and how many between the southern and south east.
The northern and the southwest make me sick with their selfishness.

Sincere9gerian: Like their father, the devil, Buhari and his disciples have been telling wicked lies since 1804. However, unlike in the past, Sincere and patriotic Nigerians will make sure they do not get away with their lies this time. i love topics like this, it gives undecided and confused voters like us enough opportunities to make informed choices, from the look of things i think GEJ will still win, however lets cut out the name calling. |

Otenestbestyaho: wow, his bloody region? Can you pls push for a confederel state or fiscal federalism? And let's see which region is bloody. I know yoruba pple to be miscrant and ungreatful, take away oil and let's see how nigeria( ur dirty west will feed). Thank God I dont have yoruba as friend, very poor and Dirty set pple, I hate it when they are speaking their evil tribe of deception. Anything i dont care, my region houses 80% of all industries in Nigeria, 55% of all economic activities in the contry take place in just 2 states from my region,Lagos and Ogun states, ondo state is also an oil producing state, the oyel u people have been shouting about has become pure water and your government will have to depend on VAT from my region to balabce its budget next year. So you see u need to clear your oyel infested brain and see clearly that your bloody region needs my region far more than my region needs you. You dont have to be friends with Yoruba, just remember to tell your poverty ravaged people to pack their loads and leave my region and let them go back to your poverty infested land and drink your polluted waters. Nonsense. |

Otenestbestyaho: Up GEJ, those of you complaining should know that, his region is feeding the nation. If I have the money or the power, I would have donated the whole of nigeria's foreign reserve for his re election. And for those saying no light, no water, no job, no food bla bla bla bla, even if no LIFE, JONATHAN must be relected next year and he will hand over power to my brother (David Mark come 2019). If you are not interested, its not by force, just go to river benue(it has no widows nor doors) and throw your dirty self into it. The two tribes(hausa and their fear fear slave, yoruba) that have ganged up against Nigeria must be shamed come next year! His bloody region doesnt feed me, i see many people from his region hustling hard to make it evryday in my region, i hardly see anybody from my own region going to his region to make money, so oga you are wrong. |

kourhage: It is indeed a blessing at least fir the first time we will be looking at what each region is going to bring to the table, south east more like the industrial hubb as to production, south west will bring her intellectual capacity, south south still oil, North west animal produce, and vegetables, North central more of quarry products and cement so everyone have something on table so less reliance on south south. God bless Nigeria How can sourh east be the industrial hub? Where are the industries in the place to warrant that status. Are you saying that a broke country should now start spending scarce resources on a region where they are presently non existent? |

Arysexy: Is it a different inec that conducted sw election? How come u claim SE election were rigged?
U are yet to tell me Why there was voter apathy in sw during presidential election But massive voting during gubernatorial?
Is it bc yoruba stake is not there? The same reason why there was voter apathy in 2003 and 1993 when both Obasanjo and MKO Abiola contested, and the same reason why there will still be voter apathy in 2015 elections. Because in every elections there are usually two parties, those who have a prefered candidate and those who have none, those who have a prefered candidate will go out to vote, while those who dont, will stay at home. It is the duty of political parties to do enough sensitization to encourage voter turnout, when GEJ was busy avoiding debates he should have known that a critical mass of elites will decide to opt out of an election devoid of issues but filled with tribal and religious innuendoes. I for one did not vote in that election because i wasnt too convinced that GEJ had what it takes to lead a country like Nigeria well and i know Buhari doesnt either. My opinion is yet to change unfortunately four years after. If that is enough for Bigots like you to hate me, then go ahead i dont care. |
Politics › Re: A Warning To Niger Delta People, The Amaechi Treatment. by huptin(m): 11:52am On Dec 19, 2014 |
Arysexy: See ur level of reasoning. Comparing Lagos the most populous state in Nigeria with bayelsa d least populated state.
Can u tell me why in 2011 yorubas voted massively in state governorship elections but had voters apathy during presidential?
Keep spinning and deceiving ur self. Because they did not rig their elections, we all know how elections are in Nigeria, the fact is less than 50% of voters usually vote during elections, but in that result up there some people recorded almost 90% voter turnout, thats incredulous. I was in imo state for instance for the 2011 elections, ideato north local government to be precise, of course there was serious voter apathy as the usual refrain was ''Jona don win already no need to vote'', people were going to their farms, but the results were released and the voter turnout in Imo came to be 83%. You may go back to 2003 and compare the votes gotten by Obasanjo in Lagos to that of Goodluck and see the similarities, stop peddling rumour, this same people you demonise have not come out to categorically tell you they wont vote for Goodluck, for God's sake 2 out of 6 states are with PDP, even osun elections was narrowly won by APC, yet you people have conveniently labeled the south west people anti GEJ. If GEJ wants their vote, let him show strong leadership qualities and stop playing the victim, all these your empty threat of war or whatever will not deter the Yorubas, if you want to fight you will need to go back to your village and launch your offensives, it is even better Lagos is getting choked already, we can do with less human beings, abi you don hear lagos state government complain of no funds since your oyel has started turning to pure water? |
Politics › Re: A Warning To Niger Delta People, The Amaechi Treatment. by huptin(m): 11:30am On Dec 19, 2014 |
Arysexy: In 2011, yoruba voted GEJ? Try harder. Yorubas were indifferent in 2011 election, can u tell me Why there were more number of votes casted for Lagos gubernatorial than presidential? They were not interested in d presidential election bc there was nothing in it for them. GEJ. even lost in Osun.
My point is that if u ppl truly wanted true change, Why not present a good Southerner? That splits d vote GEJ would have amassed in south south, then u in sw n north vote massively for ur party.
All i smell is cunny moves to grab power by deceiving people with change mantra and anti corruption lies.
See how amechi was used and dumped, they use him to fight his brother for their selfish gains.
I am happy most south southerners are getting wiser. GEJ got more votes from Lagos than he got from Bayelsa in 2011 .....fact. http://nigeriaelections.org/presidential.phpIf you must lie learn to be smart. |
Politics › Re: A Warning To Niger Delta People, The Amaechi Treatment. by huptin(m): 10:34am On Dec 19, 2014 |
Arysexy: Only a southern fool will join these bed fellows to deprive a fellow Southerner his tenure. You conveniently forgot 2011 when these same Yorubas abandoned their own in Bakare to massively vote for GEJ, it is revisonists like you, that will ensure that Goodluck Jonathan loses the Yoruba vote this time around, as for those of you threatening war, hope you are all packing your loads to go back to your land filled with milk and honey and enjoy your polluted waters afterall the oil you are shouting and dying on its becoming worthless by the day. |

I have so many other questions, these are just a few and if anyone can answer the above convincingly, then come 14th February 2015 my vote goes 100% to Buhary[/quote]Let me summarise your write up,
1. You agree that GEJ has not performed well and you wont really mind having a change at this time.
2. But you want Nigerians to retain him based on sentiments and sympathy.
I expected you to come with more solid arguements that will point out how the interest of the majority of the people will be further protected by retaining GEJ, in that aspect you failed woefully.
Sympathy and sentiments does not save a nation, A focused, strong and completely detribalised leader does, can you honestly say That GEJ possesses just one of those attributes? |

EUROBOMBER: 2015 is not about what Jonathan has done or has not done for the Igbos, it is about making a statement to some people that Nigeria belongs to all of us. No special group of people are born to rule while others are born to "siddon dey look." We cannot be terrrorized into handing over power to the core muslim north.
So my friend, 2015 is about making a statement and a bold point; NIGERIA MUST BE BALANCED! So why not support Rochas? abi is he not IGBO? |
