comos: yet the APC e-rats in Nairaland and their media propagandist will keep telling us that edo state is now an eldorado
That's a big lie my dear, the only good roads are the ones leading to the main city, all the connecting roads even the ones in the GRA are so bad you will wonder if we are in the 14th century.

And from feelers on the ground including the ones close to the governor, I don't think APC can retain that state beyond 2016.

I just returned from Benin, there is only one state with such a terrible road network in Nigeria - Edo and the governor is APC.
Politics › Re: Some Political High Profile Assassination In Nigeria by huptin(m): 7:00am On Aug 22, 2014
kraba: The worst part is that OBJ is Now seen as a saint just like IBB, pointing accusing fingers at someone whose admin has witnessed almost zero "political killings" save the ones we keep hearing on the pages of d newspaper that he's "planning" to kill millions of opposition politicians.
This your Zero political killing you need to be a little bit more specific, do you mean high profile political killing? because no administration has had more cases of politically motivated mass murder cases than the present one.

The corpers killed in the post 2011 elections and the numerous people sent to their graves by the political Boko haram nko? The number of high profile murders pales into insignificance when compared with the present malaise we face.

Can we please read our history well and get the truth, Obasanjo did not cede Bakassi, he wasn't even the one who took the case to the world court, it was Abacha.

The judgement ceding Cameroon to Bakassi came during his tenure, he initially refused to abide by the court judgement, but he eventually agreed in principle, he never ceded Bakassi till he left office.

Bakassi was handed over to Cameroon on the 8th of August 2008 a year after OBJ left office.

Cross River is one of the most beautiful states in Nigeria, i did my youth service there, wonderful place and well endowed by nature, however the poverty level there like most nigerian states is alarming. By the way i hope this will not be another white elephant, the people of the state needs empowerment, if this project serves that purpose, then i say kudos, if it doesnt........... well lets move on.
Politics › Re: Contest And Plunge Nigeria Into Violence, Anarchy - Northern Delegates by huptin(m): 11:03pm On Aug 13, 2014
God knows I am not a fan of GEJ, but each time these northerners speak I keep seeing GEJ as angel. With this attitude of theirs GEJ had better rule Nigeria forever.

Politics › Re: Omisore - I Lost Osun Election To Partisan Acts Of Ex-REC Commissioner by huptin(m): 1:32pm On Aug 12, 2014
I am not a supporter of PDP..... but i will say this, i commend their resillience, here was a party on the brink of total collapse, less than a year ago under Tukur, but with the change of leadership, and the coming of Muazu, the rebound has been dramatic if not spectacular.

Yes i think with a little more luck they can capture the south west. This is the best time for introspection for APC, If you want us to vote out PDP and vote for you then the burden is on you to prove to us that you are far better than PDP, not only in words but in action. Southwestern people vote for the candidates they perceive as the best and not based on sentiments.

Now i have serious doubt about the competence of the present chief of Army staff, Things were not so bad during the time of Ihejirika. I dont know why GEJ appointed him in the first instance.

chino24: More results from Ife Central. These wards are few meters away from the palace of Ooni of Ife.

Iremo 4: PDP 141 APC 79

Iremo 5: APC 52 PDP 143

Iremo 6: PDP 150 APC 49
I expected the margin to be wider than this in Ife, Omisore's stronghold.

Jenams: they hav a choice to come bak home u ediot! Dis nation needs a revolution, we at home face worse conditions, let them come bak n join us to fight! I dnt empathise wit opportulnist.
Now I know your problems, pure envy, frustration and lack of good breeding. I stay in this country, never got a scholarship and I don't face the kind of worse conditions you claim to face.

May be if you had paid more attention to your studies you could have gotten a scholarship too, quit hating on people, you just might be doing yourselves a big disfavour.
Education › Re: The Plight Of The Nigerian Overseas Federal Scholarship Students - Ikenna David by huptin(m): 7:54am On Aug 09, 2014
Braggante: There you go again, making no sense at all.

Do you have people around you who can read your comments before you post them? Or are they as empty as you and applaud your barrenness?

You can stay and 'fight', remember a man fights for what is his right. A scholarship is a privilege and responsibility, which can be stopped when the donor deems fit. You have no right to fight. It is not an entitlement, you tool!

But you wouldn't understand that now, would you? Well then, while you pack your bags and do as i graciously advised, get someone to interpret it for you. Cheers!
Am sorry to say this, you don't sound empathetic at all, whether scholarship is a privilege or right is not the issue, people are sent abroad to starve to death without being paid and you re here talking about rights and privileges? That's very bad.

Ajah..... i would have dropped my rating, but i noticed that each time i come to Nairaland to write about improvd electricity supply to my area, it worsens tremendously.
