But people are running away from that Enugu that is so developed like locusts on a daily basis to to those states on a per minute basis.... irony of life.

This is the best piece of advise GEJ will ever get in his term in Aso rock. But the problem with GEJ and his supporters is that they see every sincere piece of advise as rantings of an enemy, its the reason why the incumbent is playing catch up to his main challenger for the first time ever in the history of democracy in Nigeria.

My friend

If Buhari is hoping to use oil wealth, then he is smoking something tooooooo dangerous for his brain
A tree that cannot support you when you lean on it cannot kill you if it falls on you. Your oil money has brought more hardship than good to Nigeria, if it stops flowing it wont kill Nigeria. You people can begin to pack your loads and go back to your region to drink your worthless oyel. I pity you guys with all the criminality and greed that your oyel has bred Somalia will be paradise compared to your region.

. Obasanjo stole ijaw peoples oil and arrogated it to Ondo and since then you guys have ben running your loquacious mouth. Rivers is in ss? That makes the igbo oil producing communities in rivers states non igbos? ? Oil produced in one igbo speaking community in Rivers state alone is bigger than what you stole from the ijaw in ondo. . Face the truth: your fatherrs killed 3 million to maintain this sorry union. They wrote the constitution that gave them undiluted access to other peoples resources by empowering every Nigerian to reside and participate economicaly and politically in every part of the country. It is all good with me in as much as your jealousy and tribalism never becloud your reasoning when I start making some bold gains in your backyard.
If you like revise history as you wish, the truth is Ondo produces more oil than the whole of south east, whether the people of rivers are igbos or not is not my business, I have heard Amaechi deny being Igbo before but like i said its none of my business.
If your states are viable enough people will also be claiming them, I am just amused at the way you people are dying for Lagos, Lagos the state of my fathers is now like eldorado to people from the east..... wow thats very amusing

Ondo produces more oil than igbo speaking part of Rivers, Imo and Abia? You see your life? In any event, if that is the case, is that not enough reason why you should drink your oil while I drink mine?
Yes ondo produces more oil than the south east, last time i checked rivers is in south south. And as fir drinking your oil, how many Yorubas do you see in another mans land sharing their resources? Your people are the ones hustling everyday in South west. If you want to drink your oil pack your load to your land and drink it, nobody will stop you.

Me a liar? Did I tell you I want to share Ondos oil? I am ok with Imo and Abia and Rivers oil. Take your gazillion barrel ondo oil, I don't need it. As long as resources made from other areas are used to prop your tribal states, every other thing should be shared, including political positions.
But Ondo produces more oil than those 3 states combined now, then you sounded as if the Yorubas produce no oil.

The level of hate being spewed these days is crazy, by the way why hate the igbos? What exactly have they done wrong? They have their rights as human beings to vote who they want. You conveniently forget that currently the media and publicity team of APC is populated by Igbos? Osita Okechukwu and Joe Igbokwe are daily working hard to get Buhari elected while Doyin Okupe and Reuben Abati who are actually spear heading GEJs onslaught.
Biko cut these winderful people some slack, i know them well, i live with them, i am friends with them i will never encourage hatred towards them.

According to the constitution, the state holds and administers rights over land use for "All NIGERIANS".

As long as I keep paying the required fees as stipulated by the state government for the stipulated time frame, I own the land. It is mine until the day that I cannot lay claim of it.

Moreover, the C OF O is applicable to every NIGERIAN irrespective of ethnicity and religion. In essence, even Yorubas are subject to the same law. The land is not owned by the Yorubas as purported by many here, but by the government. A government is not an ethnic or religious institution. In this case, there is no special privilege accorded to the Yorubas.

Finally, the state cannot just wake up one day and start seizing lands bought legitimately because they feel worried about a certain ethnic group. They will be sued
and Justice will prevail.
I only pointed out your error, there is no certificate of ownership on any land, in fact you cant purchase a land you can only lease it, after 99 years the land reverts to the original land owners they may decide to renew the lease or otherwise.

The state government can reposess the land from any one at anytime if it feels that it is in the greater good of the society, the court can only ensure you are adequately compensated. El Rufai demolished many buildings in Abuja, Fashola did same in Lagos. Its the law.

Point of correction. Lagos State is a Nigerian land that is situated in the south west of Nigeria. The south west is mostly made up of Nigerians from the Yoruba ethnic group, with the NIGERIANS from other ethnic groups making up a minority of the population in the region. You can define other NIGERIAN regions like that.

As a Nigerian, I own a land when I buy it in any part of Nigeria. The land, which I have paid for, collected a pcertificate of ownership (COE) for and built properties on, is owned by me even though they are in Lagos sta
te and I am IGBO. I own the land. In general, Lagos state is owned by NIGERIANS, not just Yorubas. I know enlightened Yorubas that own lands and properties in the South East. It is theirs and can never be retrieved. That, is ONE NIGERIA.Fortunately, Lagos State government understands theconcept of one Nigeria. FYI, I'll vote in Lagos State. I can contest for positions in Lagos state. The question of whether I'll win or not is another issue. However, Lagos state, just like other states in Nigeria, is owned by Nigerians not Yorubas as you implied. We have since gone past the era of ethnic
based ownership of land.
There is no such thing as Certificate of Ownership, you can only get a Crrtificate of Occupancy which elapses after 99 years of occupying a land. So technically you do not own a land by purchasing it, you are only occupying it so says Nigeria's constituition.

Many people these days are thinking war is childsplay.... i hope you are safely tucked in your region... because it is suicidal to be based in another man's region and be calling for war.
Take my word for it you can only predict how a war will start you can never predict how it will end.

By the way did the Niger Delta allow OBJ to rule peacefully? Did he call for war?

Ikengawo:
all criticism are valid, what I like about Jonathan's supporters is they can speak about him realistically. He never tries to make him appear perfect or like a 'messiah', just a man that became president and is trying his best as we can see from the results.

I don't think he tolerates corruption at all. Obasanjo and others made us believe fighting corruption was a matter of arresting each and every person 'that steals', though in reality they were just lynching their enemies
Jonathan's approach is figuring out what is causing them to steal and nipping it at the bud. This is a more pragmatic and effective approach. For example people were stealing because there was no accountability in government. Jonathan
1. Passed a freedom of information bill that left all accounts open for the public to example
2. Passed a cashless economy policy so the era of sneaking money through Ghana must Go's with no paper trail is over
3. Eliminated the fuel subsidy that was used to loot that
nation
4. Eliminated over 60,000 ghost workers who's names were used to loot as well
This is how you stop 1 million thieves before they steal instead of catching 10 after they steal which was the primative Obasanjo approach (in theory, in reality he
was just extorting foes)
And that approach has been so successful that the excess crude oil account was depleted feom $40Billion
in 2007 to $4Billion in 2015. It was also very successful that the external reserves has been depleted from $67Billion in 2007 to less than $40Billion in 2015. Without anything corresponding massive infrastructural
development. What a succesful way of fighting corruption. If you must defend your candidate please learn to do so without sounding clownish.

Even PEJ his wife was until recently a ghost worker in Bayelsa!!!

Sentenced to death for asking inciting questions? What does that even mean? Because soldiers are zombies does not mean they cant ask simple questions on the fate that befell their colleagues for God's sake.

I have a feeling some corrupt senior officials are using this mutiny issue to witch hunt and persecute some assertive soldiers.

Just like they tried to do for Obasanjo? Bursting pipelines and kidnapping white men? Guess what this time nobody sends, they can pollute their lands with their increasingly worthless oyel and there will no longer be whitemen to kidnap. They can also start thinking of establishing industries and creating jobs for the teeming population of their people that will be relocating to their region from the north and other places as they will soon become surplus to requirement in those areas.

And if you must fight, its time to tell your people in their land to come home.
