Thanks I did that before making this post. Saw Barclays, saw first direct offering £175 even revolut @ £20 but I've once heard there's an offer of over £200 for switching... Above all,I want to get advice from people who have experienced it first hand - that's the major reason Nairaland trumps Google for me. The community.
That was natwest

It seems they have stopped it now

Our political class inability to fix power since 1999, resurrect our health sector, rehabilitate all our roads, stabilise our economy, invest properly in education, provide jobs etc etc etc

It beggers belief what have they been doing since 1999 (apart from enriching their generations unborn).......
If you've ever been to Abeokuta, you'll be so angry ehn

A Governor doesn't even live in the state capital, has ensured that the state has the worst road network in the country and yet he still got elected for a 2nd term. Like, how do you elect a complete failure and disaster twice? 😂

Same people will goto church and start disturbing God for miracles when the problem is literally something they can fix

Its not, its just an excuse for incompetency and corruption. I guess International aid workers know that ''Nigeria is poor because we are rich'' so they rather focus on countries with real need for help

I keep saying neocolonialism isn't Africa's problem, we are just too wicked and shortsighted

I love video like this, giving to communities that changes lives. Southern and Eastern Africa receive more international aids than any other part of Africa. Those guys are doing something no Govt or religious origination are willing to do without collecting first from the poor.

Why did them jump Nigeria and went to Cameroon though?

Credit to them though, great job.
If they come to Nigeria, egbon adugbos will ask them to Settle first

Instead giving your Pastor tithe to buy Gucci, consider donating instead to people like Mr Beast who actually changes lives in real time

Hi Fam good morning,
I did not come to brag about what am about to type , I have had my own fair share of many unsuccessful job applications and interviews.
With constant practice and prayers I was now fortunate to get 3 offers presently and am now in a dilemma of what to choose, and I beg experienced members to help me come with a decision. The offers are
1.Operational support grade Prison
2.Health Support worker for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services
3.Trainee Clinical Support worker

Now am a wife and mum and I want to choose a job that I will be happy with in the long run that will also afford me time for my children and my other responsibilities. Please those that have had experiences in the above should help me throw more light so I don't choose the one I will regret and leave a better option.

Thank you all for your contributions.
I checked the Operational support grade Prison career progress and there does not seem to be much

For Health Support worker for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services, from what I have heard from others who have worked in that line, a little lie from a child who does not like you can lead to job loss. It may have better career progression than the Prison role but it could be gone in a jiffy

I have attached what I saw about clinical support though. Looks like it may be better than CAMHS. If it is sure they will retain you after the training and all, best to go for it IMO, otherwise CAMHS

Arrrghh! Nawa o! Honestly it's "pastors" like this one that make people attack Pentecostal and tithe issues... I mean, how do one explain thishuh Are those church members under a spellhuh Nawa o!

This is why I said I'll never attend a one man church or something like that.

I'm proudly a Catholic, but if I wasn't then I'll have been an Anglican, or Methodist or Baptist... But never a one-man church where their GO shows off with private jets and 55m cash gifts to "pepper Dem"

Too bad...
Its the work of devil

It's a rainy miserable day.

I m proposing a motion for debate.

Who do you think was right in the interview between Rufai Oseni and Onokpasa? There's room on the fence too if you want to sit. Just tell us why you think so.
Rufai was right

Its painful that we have the likes of Onokpasa anywhere near the government. Painfully illiterate, crass and devoid of any decorum

I would rather interview Primary 4 students than that petulant adult

It could. The drawback I see may be in the level of bonding of the spray with the quality of materials used on our roads... You know we don't really adhere to standards and specification.
Most of our potholes (I would call them tank holes) are 'king-size' and this may restrict use of the spray as the spec may be tied to certain sizes of pothole sizes.

You can't find the sort of potholes we have in naija here in the UK and the research done may have been focused on such potholes.

Potholes are the least of our problems in Nigeria at the moment. There are more pressing challenges! The criminal in Aso Rock is one of them!!!
How's he a criminal?
