leocolin: IF YOU WANT TO WIN MY GAMES:
Its stil surprises me why some will win from my games and some will lose whereas its same games that I dished and stil dish out. Everything still boils and narrows down to "LUCK" Am not saying you should be diabolical before you win bet even though we know that some of the owners of these betting sites are diabolical and do go extra length to make sure they keep their business flowing. All you need to do is to activate your own luck to the maximum and avoid anything that will hinder your luck throughout the period of your betting. - SEX: Stay out of sex if you want to activate your luck to the maximum because premarital sex always has its own effect on your luck especially when you have a fortune on your way. - PRAYER: Back up your bet and luck with prayers, there is nothing prayers cannot solve. - BE POSITIVE: Dont take because you have paid me for games and be negative afterall, if you lose Richard will refund you. Most of success storries come with your believe first. - BE HAPPY FOR OTHERS: For the fact that you are not happy that others are winning and you are losing, you will never win because what you wish for others is what others and nature will wish you. - STAY OUT OF TROUBLES: The earlier you stay out of troubles, the better for you. Please do me a Favor |

No matter how much I hate the GEJ, I definitely won't take it lightly if I learnt he was arrested for corruption. And this is coming from a pacifist, Gej and pdp hater like me. Now imagine what how Gej lovers would feel.
I think arresting Gej would be a grave insult to us the minority ethnic group. Gej is the only Nigerian head of state to be from the minority ethnic group. Should he be arrested for corruption
when previous heads of state all from majority ethnic group, that were equally corrupt are free, then we the minority ethinc group would see it as ethinicism (ethnic racism) if there is such a term.
Gej can be tried, convicted and made to return the money that he stole, but he should definitely not be thrown in prison. Very very foolish talk Abeg u use head back stone today? Gerrarahere men shit! |

If he's interested in expanding his career so as for him to procure a lecturing job, then he should go for his Masters.
But if his aim is to find a job to do or to start up his own business, then I think 180k is still good as a start up career capital for a BSC holder.
Follow your dream... LOOOOL You don miss road Maybe na PHd u dey talk about, MSc is just to expand his knowledge ,not just for lecturing job
I would advise the multi national job, masters isnt running anywhere, he can always do it some other time or take some little leave and run it

djl: A twenty-four year old Nigerian, Bobai Ephraim Kato, has built a fully functional artificial intelligence robot for his final year project at the International College of Business and Technology (ICBT) in Sri Lanka. After his secondary school education in Nigeria in 2009, he wrote JAMB exams twice trying to get an admission into Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria to study medicine, but all to no avail. He couldn’t get into the remedial school at ABU, and Kaduna State University (KASU) did not accept him either. It was not until he started a program at KASU’s remedial school that opportunity presented itself through the NIIT (National Institute of Information Technology) scholarship exam. Kato’s success story took shape over the next four years as he eventually ended up in Sri Lanka and studied Software Engineering.
Kato admits that the idea of artificial intelligence was random. The knowledge he gained from previous classes on Artificial Intelligence Systems set the pace for his work with the robot. His first work with Artificial Intelligence was “Wine Quality Test”, a piece of software which uses artificial intelligence to determine the quality of wine. When the directive came to his class to create software that uses Artificial Intelligence for predictions and solutions, he couldn’t think of anything. It was not until he did some research that the idea of a robot, which could solve puzzles struck him.
A Nigerian Software Engineering student, Kato personally built and developed the algorithm that enabled the robot to solve a Rubik’s Cube in a matter of minutes – a feat he admits to have never achieved himself. Kato, who hails from the Atyap tribe in Karina said, “ My first 5 tests were a failure. The robot always shot a scanning error, and this was a week to my final submission. All I could do was pray. I didn’t know what to do again. I was confused and restless. I kept grinding and it finally started working. At that stage, the robot wasn’t intelligent enough and I had to train it to solve many puzzles to get more skills to save in the database.” Kato spent two nights building the robot. After construction, he installed the software which served as the brain into a memory card for testing. A week to Kato’s final submission, the robot was still not functional. It took six tries to get the robot to work, and then a few days to increase its intelligence quotient. It was hard work for Kato, as he could not solve the Rubik’s Cube himself. In the spirit of giving back, his new focus is on forensic computing, cyber security, and digital investigation, which he hopes to put to full use when he goes back to Nigeria. “I’m happy to return back to Nigeria as a Cyber Security and Digital forensic Tech,” he says. “If anything, that’s what Nigeria needs more. We need people who are savvy and sincere in Digital Investigation, Cyber Security and Forensic

So I hope this doesn't sound like I'm a bad girl or something like that. I don't want you to say things like "what is this generation turning into?" because I'm very sure it happened in the previous generation and there are evidences such as the single mums that i see that got pregnant then. Long story short, there is a boy i like and he likes me too and he just asked me out. I made it very clear to him that we are not going to get intimate and he is very okay with it. I know you'll say it can happen by accident but i know that the only place we can get intimate is at a lonely place so all I'll have to do is to avoid it. The thing now is that do you think getting into a relationship at 16 is quite okay. Mind you, I'll soon be 17. Won ma to do e

oluwapoju: Under 1.5 goals in each half ( Yes or No).
Under 1.5 goals in each half (YES) means you are predicting that not more than 1 goal would be scored in each half of the match. This implies that not more than 1 goal will be scored in the first half of a match and also not more than 1 goal would be scored in the 2nd half as well.
Under 1.5 goals in each half (No) means you are predicting that at least 2 goals would be scored in the first half of a match and also at least 2 goals would be scored in the 2nd half as well. Correct Answer! |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: My Experience Recruiting From Nairaland. Shocking. by hustla(m): 5:10pm On Sep 17, 2015 |
databoy247: Recently, i decided to conduct an interview and select some candidates who might be working with my organization. Currently we are trying to expand our operations and see how we can get new leads and probably close more deals. And from my survey, there are hundreds and possibly thousands of unemployed graduates here in Nairaland so i decided to concentrate on recruiting from here.
Now because of the nature of the job and also with a view in cutting cost around physical recruitment exercise, I decided to conduct the whole process online.
567 applications where received. I had to employ the services an outside consultant to help with the process which i also fully participated. Below are my shocking experiences with job seekers in this forum. I pray they read this and improve on themselves.
1. CV and cover letter. I remember explicitly asking for their CV and cover letter to be forwarded to a particular email address. A huge percentage of the applicants just sent an empty email with their CV as an attachment. Not even an application letter. In case you dont know, a very quick assessment can be done on you by just reading your application or cover letter. You don't just attach your CV and forward to an email address without a cover letter. It means you are not serious and you may NEVER get called for an interview.
2. Many do not even know what they are applying for. For an example you are asked to apply for an administrative position. The subject of your email should not be "My CV". This is so annoying and disgusting. Those that manage to write a cover letter do not even make reference to the job position they are applying for.
3. Lack of communication skills. Now it is not enough to have a degree, you must learn to communicate. I sent out a pre-interview questionnaire to selected candidates and i just couldn't believe what i saw. So many job seekers do not know how to communicate and speak simple and clear English language. If you want to stand a better chance in job haunting, learn how to communicate.
4. Words abbreviations This is a very big problem. Social medial is good but i think it's now becoming a major problem. With the use of BBM, whatsapp, Facebook chat, etc, Nigerians are now addicted to abbreviating words. You see things like 'u', 'k', 'comin', etc. And in case you dont know it, this can cause a very big problem for you. A lot of candidates get disqualified because of this. Learn to write properly when communicating with someone. Stop being in a hurry to pass along your message.
5. Checking of emails. As a job seeker, you should always check your emails. Recruiters dont just send text messages, they also send emails. I did not screen alot of people because they did not check their emails to see if any information has been passed to them. You must always be on the look out. Dont submit your applications and go relaxing.
These are some of the experiences i had recruiting here. Out of 567 applications, i could not pick up to 20 candidates as a result of all these. Sometimes, i begin to wonder if the problem is lack of jobs or laxity on the part of the applicants because i am so shocked and surprised that our graduates are this way.
http://thenigerian.com.ng/index.php/2015/09/17/my-experiences-recruiting-nigerian-job-seekers-5-things-i-discovered/ Pot calling the Kettle black You are not any better, probably just lucky. Your writeup in itself is filled with spelling mistakes and improper use of punctuation marks and lack of it in some cases.
Remove the log In your eye before you look at that of others
And not all companies ask for a cover letter. If it is not asked for or required , you can always ignore it or do over sabi and send it all the same
Peace
NB - I am still looking for a job oooo

Crime › Re: India Cops Arrest Nigerian Involved In Mango Seed Fraud by hustla(m): 7:21pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
dridowu: HYDERABAD: A Hyderabadi couple helped the Ranchi police nab a Nigerian, who duped people across the country, including some businessmen to the tune of over Rs 150 crore in the name of purchasing obesity-reducing mango seeds, at the RGI Airport on Tuesday.
Police arrested John Emma alias Gurr Paul from Nigeria. Emma, who landed at the RGI Airport in Hyderabad from Mumbai on Monday night to meet a prospective victim, was nabbed by the special team of Ranchi police.
According sources, Emma, who poses as Gurr Paul, purchasing manager of Dynamic Pharmaceutical Limited, UK, had lured several victims across the country by offering to purchase African bush mango, 'Irvingia gebonisis', seeds at a mind-boggling price.
Police said Emma or his associates target potential victims on Facebook by chatting with them as a representative of Dynamic Pharmaceutical Ltd. If the victim is a male, the fraudsters chat as a female and vice versa. Two months ago, a government employee, Ramu from LB Nagar, and his wife, SP Mamata, an advocate practicing cyber law, came in contact with one Elizabeth Perry of Dynamic Pharmaceuticals on Facebook. Perry told them that her company procures 400 grams of Irvingia gabonensis (bush mango seeds) from India for $5,000. She also informed Ramu and Mamata that the seeds were available for sale in India at $2,000 per 400 grams.
When the couple showed interest, Perry put them on to Gurr Paul, purchasing manager of the firm. Paul told the advocate and her husband that they have to purchase seeds from one Nidhi Sharma in Mumbai for $2,000 per 400 grams packets and his firm is then ready to purchase 100 packets of seeds at a price of $5,000 per packet. On the request of the advocate, Paul even sent an email with purchase offer from the pharma company.
But, by checking the IP address from which the email was sent, the advocate found out that the email came from Mumbai and not from the UK, as claimed by Paul. The couple then checked on the internet about the sale of particular seeds and realized that some people were duped by a seed purchasing gang to the tune of several lakhs. Mamata and Ramu then contacted some of the victims in Ranchi, Mumbai and Bangalore with the help of police and the victims encouraged Mamata and Ramu to remain in contact with the accused so that they could be arrested.
The duped victims also pooled in over Rs one lakh and gave it to the couple to purchase the seeds from Nidhi Sharma in Mumbai so that the man posing as Gurr Paul could be nabbed. On August 29, the couple met Nidhi Sharma at Inorbit Mall in Mumbai and purchased a packet of seeds by paying Rs 1.5 lakh. After the purchase, Gurr Paul contacted them and said that he needs more than 100 packets quickly.
The advocate then asked Paul to come to India so that he could verify the quality of seeds before they purchase in bulk from Nidhi. Accordingly, Gurr Paul agreed to meet the couple in Hyderabad on Monday and they in turn alerted the Ranchi police, where a case was booked against Gurr Paul for duping businessman Ajay Singh for Rs 84 lakh a few months ago.
When Gurr Paul alias John Emma came to the RGI Airport on Monday night from Mumbai, he was nabbed by the Ranchi police, who claim that the gang had duped people across the country of over Rs 150 crore. Police sources said that Emma came from Mumbai. The Ranchi police would produce him before a local court on Wednesday and at present he was being held at the RGI Airport police station.
The gang had also duped a Bangalore-based businessman, Lalith Singhvi, of Rs 48 lakh recently. Based on the alert from Ranchi police, their Mumbai counterparts have launched a manhunt to nab Nidhi Sharma.
