Lexusgs430: If the agent made over 400 payments, with improper records keeping........ Where do you start from........
The simplest way forward is the applicant, redirecting the payment........ If not, someone would be having an early xmas present........😂🤣 They don't reply emails sadly, those IHS guys |

Lexusgs430: Do you know how many payments agents make ........ Unfortunately, due to limitations and restrictions, many individual accounts are used to facilitate payments........
If payments - sources and person's are not documented by the agent, would be difficult to track refunds ..........😁 IHS number follows payment. A simple 1 hr search will show all needed info but why search when you can get a debit of £2000+ for doing nothing? |

Adedoks: Hi family,
but the card we used for the IHS payment was that of an agent in naija then. now the agent is claiming that she cannot refund the money when it is paid because she cant remember the card she used for the payment. This is a blatant lie. It is near impossible for that huge amount of money to leave your account and you wont know which account it csame out from The agent can print all bank statements and trace it at the time payment was made (I am sure a succesful email was sent following payment) Hold the agent for neck |

seunpinky: Although I am based in Canada, what u have written here applies across board. From the short time I have spent in mapleland, I have come to realise that the major mistake most new immigrants make is financing a car. So many older immigrants have made that same mistake and they keep telling the newer immigrants not to make that same mistake but these pleas often falls on deaf ears. The adrenaline to drive a brand new car pushes a lot of immigrant into untold hardship.
To further buttress my point, in Canada as of today the average salary is $75k per annum which equates to 4K per month after taxes. The average 2021-2023 car costs approximately $800 per month coupled with insurance cost of $400 per month and fuelling costs of $300 per month. Before the twinkle of an eye, you are set back $1,500 per month because u want to drive a brand new car and show off to people that don’t care about what u drive.
I am preacher of the buy a older car cash down ($5k) and move on with ur life. 3 years down the line after u have gathered valuable investments (real estate, stocks, a biz) u can then buy the car of your choice.. This is the approach I have chosen, to each mallam his kettle😂 Lots of people I came in with have gone to take £1,000 iPhones and cars and I'm just wondering why. Took a Pixel at £89 trade in with my Pixel 5 and I don't have to take on additional payments on my small student income To each his own, I guess |

Santa2: The problem with this advise is that the US doesnt really clear path for transitioning from student path to permanent residency. I know people who have kept hopping from one to course to another after post study work I am talking between 7 to 8 years. If you take into consideration the H1B visa backlog, you will realise that for moving to do US, One will have to do loads and loads of research on how best to stay on long term. Does this apply to tech guys and nurses? I really don't know the pathway in the US though as most people I know took the other route |

Teenwa: Good evening Gurus in the house. Please we need your advise here. I am currently on Tier 4 visa while my husband and children are on dependent visas. After settling down and starting work,my husband got a US Visa to proceed with his doctorate degree programme in the US(an old application). He is now in the US doing the programme. For now,we are yet to decide on which way to go in terms of settling down after my 1 yr programme. So we are trying to abide by all the rules in case I need to switch to Tier2 in UK.
We hear he must not spend 180days outside UK. If anyone knows much about this, pls help throw more light as he does not want to default on his current dependent Visa.
Your guidance will be appreciated.
Thanks always . US to me is a much better option than UK (money making, ease of hitting good pay etc for most fields) UK does not even know how to go about the student visa thing and appear unbalanced or confused as of this moment. Best for me would be to complete your schooling and then move to the US too. He can visit before 180 days lapses (assuming its at a stretch and not total) |

Mindlog: Though there is more demand in the children and adolescents side of support work because for just only one young person, about 6-8 support workers will be needed in a residential setting if it is 2-1
Snoop around, check out sites like CV library and search for support roles with sponsorship attached to them as many prefer to sponsor those already in the UK with work experience.
A lot of such were available last year. Thanks! |

If you presently have support work experience, they are companies open to sponsorship though some expect you to pay for the switch, you collect your 5 years visa. Been in support for like 8 months How much is the payment? |
