And do u really think Coentrao arriving would have improved ur defence. Your problem is in the centre of defence. Holger Badstuber has been surprisingly shitty this season. I thot he was promising judging by his exploits last year. But this is a common problem with young defenders (See Davide Santon) Breno, Van Buyten, words cannot describe how useless they are sometimes.

Your Central Defence needs an overhaul and fast. Neuer Would do at the back too and if u have free money to spend , go splash it on Coentrao but i feel u have options there in Pranjic and Gustavo if you are not "content" with Contento.


@Chic2Pimp same here, I hate Inter in Serie A but they did Italy proud in the UCL and that's what its all about. We need to get the coefficients back from the Germans and improve in the Europa too.

Sorry i'm late. But do take heart in the fact that you were beaten by the most organized team in Europe at the moment. You couldnt have won the UCL with that CB pairing. It would have been unfair.

You couldnt have won it with that game plan. It was a final not a group game and the opposition had knocked out English and Spanish champions on the way. Too much space especially for Sneijder.

It was a good final.Very interesting. Glory to Italian football again. Catennaccio still wins titles

I dont agree with u Ruudie. Why with one club consistently which is way easier to do when you can keep taking challenges in other clubs and proving your mettle in different competitions , and with different personnel and culture.

The reason i will never consider SAF as being the best is due to this fact. Fine he did great at Aberdeen donkey years ago (when Shooting Stars could have even won the European Cup if they participated lol) he has been far too relaxed at United and not eager to take up challenges elsewhere.

Yes different cycles have come and gone but it has still been the same old club, same roots.

Take coaches like Capello,Hitzfield, Magath,Mourinho and you will see the magnitude of what they have achived by moving from club to club to take up challenges and achieving success and in some cases instantly.

Jose won the league and stuttered in the UCL in the first season. But second season he did the right thing and signed a complete Trequartista in Wesley Sniejder and the rest is history. Everyone knows without Sneijder, they wouldnt have won most of their knockout games. After a treble for Christ's sake what else is there to prove. Also consider that this is not his first set of trophies like Pep. If he wins @ Madrid, he becomes a coaching legend instantly. Isnt that worth chasing?

If it were with one club alone, the likes of Paul Leguen, Manuel Jose, Guus Hiddink, Van Gaal, would be right up there staking their claim as the best. Dont you think? .

Going thru the glory days u have to know there will be seasons like the last 3 we have had. We rebuild and start winning again. The club is nowhere near dying. After Capello left in 96 we all know what happened. Now Carletto has gone too, we cant start winning like that,

I will always talk when it has to be about dissing the EPL. No doubt their top 4 teams have been able to dominate Europe in the recent past. But the questio has always been what about the remaining 16 teams

Pretty much GARBAGE. A league where coaches have no technical input, no style, no charisma. All u see from mid table teams is high balls and players chasing it down from the blast of thw whistle.

Compare that to a Serie A which has even lost much of its glamour but top 4 positions and new entrants to champs league like every yr. Ditto Spain, Sitto Germany.


EPL is garbage, they now have to rely on Serie a groomed coaches to show them the way. Garbage league, The only reason England will go far at the world cup is cuz they have Don Fabio at the helm, What country is he from again?

They have beaten 2 top teams and potential winners Chelsea(FA cup and Premiership) and Barca (La Liga winners and most entertaining team) compared to Bayerns defeats of Fiorentina,United (Carling Cup yeah right) and Lyon pretty much Zero Tituli teams dis season. No team deserves it more than the Nerazzuri.winning d treble on saturday will cap off a remarkable season for dem. Will need to go and buy a N500 Inter jersey for Saturday simply to cheer them on for coefficient reasons. Serie a needs them to win comprehensively. FORZA MILAN always.
