Music/RadioRe: Souljah Boy? Wat Is Happenin To Hiphop? by hustler(m): 3:00pm On Oct 28, 2007
Unfortunately this is the sorry state of hip hop right now. Slowly being put to sleep. But we gotta ask why righthuhCatchy beats by pl lke Mannie Fresh,Nitty or Lil Jon. The look for a new dance could be chicken noodle, snapping fingers or w/eva.Get an act who can turn these beats to sumthing maybe Plies,Mike Jones,Souljah boy, Rich boy w/eva boy. Then basically u have a hit song and smthing thats gon get radio play.

The negative aspect is that young ones growing up wont know wat real hiphop is.They'll believe these guys are the bomb.My 13 yr old cuzin thinks party like a rockstar is the best hip hop song ever. Can u blame him. When we dont have hits like One mic,Dead presidents,Nothin like it,droppin enuff these days.

The very best. Now the real mcees are putting out enuff work. Good thing Lupe,Kanye,Freeway,Beans and Jay will drop albums before the end of the year. But doble will come from the guys down south like there is a factory producing em. Put the blame on greed by producers of these southern labels Collipark e.t.c but in the end they are just tryna make money and will bribe dj's to bump their latest sounds(payola). which contributes to the death of real hiphop at the end.

Cant wait for Ni--er by Nas. I know he has something to talk about again. Will wait for American Gangster too. Have heard snippets and i think Jay will make up for the errors in Kingdom come on this album.

send in your present best 11 that can stand my serie a team.
Nice one oga. I'm a Milan fan but i think Maicon does a little more for me on the right than Oddo. What about Tonetto on the left?? The front 3 are perfect and will kill any team in Europe at the moment. So also the midfield.

The bundesliga attack is frightening but can their defence stand the firepower of the serie a assualt Lucio is prone to errors and Mertesacker is not top class "enuff". That midfield cant stand serie a's midfield abegggggg.

We await the EPL and La liga teams.

Lehman(in his prime),lauren/eboue,toure,campbell,ashley cole,hleb/ljungberg,gilberto,fabregas,pires/reyes,rvp/bergkamp,henry is a posible startin xi.Dat team is as good as d milan team that won it in may.
Maybe you should check what that Milan team and dat Arsenal team have achieved in terms of glory and analyze your statement again. Most likely u will find out that the team was nowhere near d Milan team in terms of class and achievements.

So what makes them as good as that Milan team which to me was even weaker than the one that lost to Liverpool in 2005.

You guys still havent agreed that Fabio Capello is the best coachhuh He needs to come and win the title with Julius Berger before you all agreehuhLOL.

Wenger is the best coachhuh Based on what. Pls provide facts and reasons for us to agree with you. For nurturing young talenthuh What about the guys at the Barcelona Academy??Ajax Academy, Atalanta youth set up.

Pls lets talk about coaches that have brought glory to the sides they have managed.

They should be none other than the following.

Capello, because for as far as i know he is the only coach that has won the most with different teams and not just in one country.Milan,Juve, Real and Roma.

Then ppl like Lippi, This man has won it all in football, world cup, league title, UCL,

Hitzfield,UCL, League titles,, ANcelotti, Scudetto and UCL titles and finals,

Ariggo Saccchi, UCL Title, League Titles, Coached the team named best side ever to play in Europe, 89-90 Milan side,

Rafa is also worthy of mention on this list, UCL and Uefa and La Liga different teams just like Mourinho and Capello , Most of these coaches we are naming here, Can they go to other teams say in other leagues that are different and quickly understand it and win trophies therehuh Wenger was not a successful name in France like say Le Guen who couldn't replicate what he fluked in Lyon in Rangers.

One other thing here is i saw an argument a while ago bout English teams being 3 in the semis this yr. Lemme just add that when the spanish teams were 3 in the semis one spanish side won, when Inter,Milan and Juve were there, the red and black won,

When Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea were there and Andy "Bastard" Gray (Cuz i hate the prick) and his cohorts were predicting that the title would come to England and Milan would slump to Man U's firepower In Italy, guess who won it,
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Why Are Nigerians So Crazy About The Premiership? by hustler(m): 8:32pm On Oct 17, 2007
The love for the Premiership has been occassioned by the excellent packaging of a substandard product by the English media and those that are passionate about it.

I must confess that in recent years this packaging has  helped the league as it has helped attract money bags to invest in clubs, attract quality "foreign players", attract quality coaches (Mourinho, Benitez) which has helped them perform very well in European competitions. 3 finals in a row and one win.

But stilll i will always support the league and team that has brought out the best ever defender in the world in Franco Baresiiii.

SportsRe: A Quick One On The New Serie A Season (my Analysis) by hustler(op): 11:49pm On Sep 29, 2007
If u ask me i think it was the system he used dat gave em dat result. Iaquinta looked impressive on dat right hand side. Criscito's lack of experience at the back gave Roma those 2 cheap goals. Although Roma played good attacking football and overwhelmed them.

Same cannot be said of their play today. The 1-4 loss to Inter. Though he didnt get to play the full match today, i think the best striker in the world at the moment is Ibra.

SportsA Quick One On The New Serie A Season (my Analysis) by hustler(op): 11:57am On Aug 26, 2007
The new season started yesterday. From indications yesterday, it looks like it's goin to be an interesting one.Juve's 5-1 trashing of Livorno has just told us all that one season in serie b hasn't affected their winning mentality. The y have also beefeed up their squad, though not to my entire satisfaction as i felt they should have gone for Riquelme and another central defender. Nevertheless, they still have champions like Trez,Nedved and Del Piero and the young ones like Criscito(dat boy excites me) and Nocerino. They will fight hard to regain the scudetto but i see them finishing third or fourth.

Inter on the other hand will start as the favourites to win this. They have a mouth watering attack and in my opinion the only attack line that can compete with theirs in Europe is Barcelona's, Ibra, Suazo,Crespo,a fit Adriano and Cruz are players that will get you goals anyday. They have tightened up at the back too with the arrivals of Rivas and Chivu.Without a doubt they are the favourites i no go lie but their defeat to Roma in the super cup a week ago and the feeling that some of their strikers will be discontent when they are not getting regular playing time has cas a doubt on their potential.

Roma, To me they have been playing the best brand of football in Italy and arguably in Europe since Spallettin took over.Similar to Arsenal's passing game just that they don't try to walk it into the net , they also shoot from distance. What can i say about them. They lost Chivu cuz they wouldn't break their salary cap, but have strengthened their defence with the arrival;s of the Brazilians Juan and Cicinho.I think Giuly will give Spalletti more options in the attack. In Aquilani they have a rising young star and one for the future. He can become the next Pirlo. And talismanic Totti who has almost telephatic understanding with Mancini,Taddei and Perotta. They have wehat it takes to fight Inter for the title

You can never count out the Rossonneri.Never ever ever ever. I know this from experience.Have been a supporter since i was 6.They havent been that active in the market as usual.Just the arrival of Pato and the "old Emerson' were their significant captures in the transfer window. But they will count on having Il Fenomeno", ROnaldo and Oddo from the start of the season.A fit Nesta, a blessed Kaka and never say die gattuso and Seedorf. In what will be Maldini's last season they will be the favourites for the scudetto also. And they are the usual suspects for the UCL. Just hope we can add those two trophies along with the super cup of Friday to our already congested trophy cabinet. It should be between Milan and Inter. But that our usual greed for Champions league success may shift out attention.

FORZA MILAN!!!

Watch out for teams like Palermo, their strike force of Amauri and Miccoli will trouble defences.Fiorentina with the promising Giampolo Pazzini and Mutu cant be left out.But y in the world did they let Reginaldo(i consider him the next Adriano cuz of their similarity) move to Parma.I still wonder. Also with Udinese, Quagliarella will want to show the world that his performance of last season want a fluke.Sampdoria have the "born again" Cassano and will hope to fight the big guns too this season.I tip Napoli to stay up and give the big guns a run for their money too this season. Which other team dey sef??/

Yes, Lazio. Some say they have shot themselves in the foot in their UCL qualifier. But they have all it takes to recover and record victory in Romanis. With strikers in the mould of Rocchi and Pandev.Never count them out.

Let the games begin.

Now God will expose all the fake Arsenal supporters we have in Nigeria.Lol.

I personally know some who have gone to buy Barca jerseys today.

Good move by Henry.Isn't it plain to see that the club lacks ambition in the transfer market.Only notable buy has been Fabianski. No be ppl don raid for the best young talents for superliga? When they should be bidding for the likes of Torres,Tevez and others that are available.

But they will survive sha if they can get a young quality striker for Wenger to groom.Thing is Wenger may not have many seasons to spend there either.

U nairalanders sef u never cease to amaze me , Now u have to make me come in here to rubbish English football again,

If only the originator had named the thread Premiership midfielder of the year(would have been more specific).

I'm looking at your picks for midfielder of the year and i am wondering what happened to the likes of Gattuso,David Silva,Diego,Ronaldinho,Messi,Deco,Seedorf,Ottl,Nani,Stankovic,Mancini the list of quality midfielders goes on.Or is that they are reserve goalkeepers in their teams?

But i am seeing names like Sidwell,Arteta, Who are these ppl in European football??

Please let us not limit ourselves to just English football but try to know what is happenin in world football.

Let us try to expand our view abeg and avoid all this unnecessary arguments bout Lampard vs Gerard. Two players that have not lived up to expectations when it mattered most.

What happened to Kaka vs Ronaldinho,Deco vs Silva,Aimar vs Guti

Better arguments not these car park arguments.

somze:
u must have been watchin the game with your eyes closed. Actually you must be watching all football games that way.
On the contrary if u had taken time to remove the dirt in ur eyes you would have noticed that the midfield  of Liverpool was extraordinarily packed so as to contain the likes of Seedorf and Kaka. This freed Pirlo more as he was able to make some effective distributions yesterday.

You would have also noticed that Liverpool played with 1 striker which is unlike them cuz they wanted to neutralize the threat from mainly Kaka and Seedorf. For me Kaka's nutmeg on Riise and Mascherano in the 1st half was enuff entertainment for me and seeing Maldini lift that trophy yet again was just enough for me.

If they had started with 2 strikers, we would have wrapped that game up in the 1st half.

The beauty of tactical football which may take you years to understand really fascinates me. It's not all about the end to end stuff u normally see in your usual premiership games.

What you saw yesterday was a purely tactical game b/w the 2 of the best coaches in the world trying to outwit themselves.

Next time be sober when you want to watch these kind of matches and stay off the "paraga' so you see clearly.

From the second half against the Viola you could tell that they were still feeling the effects of the Man u game.

Who wouldn't?

But we can take some positives from the game cuz we deserved to win it anyway with Kaka's missed spot kick and wrongly disallowed goal.

We face Catania over the weekend and just hope we can seal our UCL spot there so we can now rest players and get em well motivated for Athens.
