You dey mind am??
2mch:

When e reach your turn, appoint the father of your enemies. Who spend all day online spewing lies and hate against you and celebrating the day they hope you fail. Your eye go clear. Na Nigeria you de use play? Even US the President will never appoint such characters to watch his back.
Politics / Re: Profile Of Maj-Gen Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, Chief Of Army Staff by hybridblood07(m): 10:02am On Jun 20, 2023
Can you remind us the person Ya'adua appointed as COAS?? And also Jonathan??
SmartPolician:
Apart from Obasanjo (that man is a true Nigerian), every other Nigerian president appointed soldiers either from their tribe or a tribe they can trust as his army chief.

It's quite unfortunate that 100 years later, Nigeria is still struggling to unite as one country. Congratulations to the new army chief though!
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 9:53am On Jun 20, 2023
Noted.
Gajagojo:
meant for a retired general? Because?
Like Minister of FCT is meant for Northerner??
If a civilian can be commander in Chief and a university professor can be NSA in the US why can't a civilian be NSA in Nigeria?
The job is meant for ANY BODY that will PERFORM whether they come from Amotekun or Boys Scout doesn't matter

Performance is what matters and the retired generals have NOT performed
Romance / Re: What Is The Minimum You Should Earn In A Month To Consider Marriage by hybridblood07(m): 9:53am On Jun 20, 2023
That's Kaduna oh. I attended NMS
Rinoxy:

For the house rent part, it's strictly dependent on lactation. In Kaduna for instance, you can get a decent two bedroom flat for 200-250k annually. Infact mine is 150k/year. Guess I'm just lucky.
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 12:11am On Jun 20, 2023
Because that post is meant for a retired General. I would have preferred Dambazau Bello
Hope15:
I think they must have pushed his hands with their refusal to work with Ribadu as NSA. The man wants Ribadu in that post, and they were seeming a roadblock. Something has to give, right?

Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 12:10am On Jun 20, 2023

chuksanambra:

Removing an IGP that is above the statutory retirement age is too early?

You lack sense.

Go and sit down mr man. You don't know anything about Military. Did you know when General Gowon was removed from power Lt.Col Dimka staged a coup that would enable him and his loyalist to reinstall Gowon back to power. Im sure you're not aware. Coup can take place
BABANGBALI:
they can't. He brought them in to chop.
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 8:16pm On Jun 19, 2023
Oga, you dont know anything at all. I won't argue with you sir.
Starz825:

you want to know the truth...

I will tell you

...the people backing them up are the same service chiefs....cos that's how they get lucrative offers/funds from the government to continue to fight a concerted war that should've ended a long time ago...

we need change abeg...no be buhari dey there again
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 8:09pm On Jun 19, 2023
Nothing concern me with customs
blowjohn:

Where did I mention service chiefs?

I said customs.
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 8:09pm On Jun 19, 2023
So these new ones can't remove him abi
BABANGBALI:
so that they can remove him, before removing them abi?
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 8:08pm On Jun 19, 2023
Oga, the service chiefs did their best. Most of the insurgency are being sponsored by government officials and it's difficult to fish them out when we have people backing them up.
Starz825:

same service chiefs buhari worked with without any meaningful success over insurgency...

you sef reason am
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 8:07pm On Jun 19, 2023
Alright
ganisucks:

No. He's on the ropes. The military and the cabal have made it clear where their loyalties lie. He is not getting a fresh election, period!
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 8:07pm On Jun 19, 2023
What has service chiefs got to do with borders??
blowjohn:

Work with them for 6 more months and let landing cost of car reach 5 million abi?

If he waits for six months it's still u that will complain that our borders are the problem
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 7:58pm On Jun 19, 2023
The thing shock me oh. Tinubu doesn't know much about the military
ganisucks:
And so it begins. After the meeting with Grey beard, Baba Lagos declared war on the cabal.

Made Ribadu the NSA chief. What an insult. A police DIG to command military generals.

I laffπŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Lost job as how?? They all achieved what every other officer would pray for. Do you know what it means to be appointed as service chiefs at all? 1 out of 30...
Flight90:
Omo!!
So just like that, they all lost their jobs 😏
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Retires All Service Chiefs, Advisers, Customs CG, IG Of Police by hybridblood07(m): 7:50pm On Jun 19, 2023
Removing the service chiefs is just too early. He would have worked with them for at least 6 months
decatalyst:
Baba don flush and bring in new goons to the helm.

I think his appointments are faster than when Buhari came on board.

Baba is not hitting the ground running, he is flying ooo

He doesn't have 10k in his account. Some people on NL are just mad
talented321:
You sef, do you have up to 20k in your account
Romance / Re: What Is The Minimum You Should Earn In A Month To Consider Marriage by hybridblood07(m): 5:25pm On Jun 19, 2023
You're not wrong, but in this present economy,
at least 200k is enough to run a home with a child. House rent alone would be more than 400k annually
Edizzy:
Hello people here's a quick question

Considering the importance of finance in marriage, what should a man be making monthly before considering marriage in Nigeria, someone said 50k but based on the economic reality in the country, 50,000 is too small to sustain a home.

I believe a minimum of 100k per month is a enough to take care of a matrimonial home with just one child and this also depends on your location.

I might be wrong or right, so over to you what's your opinion on this topic!
