Amazing how a phone I bought for 44k 9 months ago is in the 60k-100k section. Amazing what inflation can do. Anyway, great to see my new favourite phone is on the list! Huawei P9 Plus! Dual Leica camera with true monochrome? I want! |
Sweet list man, but why put the P1 and not show the rear? That in itself, is a mistake. The back of the P1 is beautiful. Koenigsegg, first time I heard of that make was from PGR2. With the sweetly named Koenigsegg CCV8S. |
bufness:Listen mate, not the same thing. I'm assuming your Xbox might have been bought from North America? The reason you'd need a step-down would be because your console uses 110v. An easy way to ascertain this is to check the power brick and look for 'input' and what is written beside it. If it's 110v, then you definitely need a step down transformer, NOT the same as a stabilizer. If it's 220v, then no step-down needed. But use a stab, just to keep the voltage entering the console stable. And a UPS if you wanna be able to turn it off properly. It might be 110v-220v, in which case you can use it as well, without a step-down. But once again, I suggest you protect your stuff with a stab/ups. A little story to tell you to drive the point home. When I returned from Canada, I came with my Xbox. 110v. We got a step-down and everything. As a stupid kid, one day the voltage was low, and there I was, wondering why it wouldn't turn on. Bright idea. 'maybe the voltage is too low? ' Push the plug into the 220v slot of the transformer (it was a step up/step down transformer)... Boom! Anyway, it was later fixed, but just trying to let you know what might happen if you use a higher voltage than stated as Input. And sorry for the derail. ![]() |
Hey guys. Back in 2003, my dad bought me and my brothers a limited edition translucent green Xbox. Thing is still alive today, although I softmodded it and switched out the HDD for a larger one, so not exactly stock. I played a whole bunch of different games on that baby, and a lot of them were fantastic. Others were, well, meh. I know around here, most people have Playstations and all, but did anyone here own an Xbox? Not 360, and not One. Im talking about the original Xbox, the one that marked Microsoft's dive into console gaming. If you had one, what were your favourite games? Games I enjoyed immensely include Project Gotham Racing 2, Quantum Redshift, Jet Set Radio Future, Burnout 3: Takedown, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, MechAssault, and of course, Halo 2. Blinx: The Time Sweeper was pretty darn good, and NFSU2 as well! The games I remember for their, well, underwhelming gameplay, include, Winback 2: Project Poseidon and Batman: Dark Tomorrow. Ah, such good times. |
"The only true Gods are the ones that don't say. " But seriously, what is this? |
charix:You're welcome. Not that you should doubt everything, but it's very important to take the information of 3rd parties with a pinch of salt. Or a whole spoon if you must. Helps you weed out the untruths. I won't have another classmate telling me he has a Nintendo 64 360. ![]() |
Feraz:Bros, no vex na! This one is certified whining. But thanks, I appreciate it! |
Star Citizen isn't out yet, definitely why I haven't heard of it. They could do better though with the marketing. Same way everyone I knew wouldn't shut up about No Man's Sky. Regarding FFVII, Google says it went for $45m, equivalent to $66m today. Although it was the most expensive at the time. I dunno where you got that value from though. Cuz I think Square Enix would have been deemed absolutely insane to spend over $200m on a game back then. |
cao:Never played TF2 either, but it was actually the second thing to pop up in my head. Maybe based on the online multiplayer-only gameplay. That's why I was even more surprised at it being Blizzard... But first IP since 98?? Jeez. Guess Warcraft and Starcraft had them unconcerned. PS: Was just reading some about the game, and read about Lucio, a character seemingly inspired by JSRF. Score, I guess. :p |
The game looks like great fun. I was first attracted to it when I watched Conan play it with Tyrion & Cersei. :p (Conan O'Brien: Clueless Gamer with Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey.) The game reminded me heavily of JSRF, which is admittedly one of the best games I've ever played. Unfortunately, in terms of gaming, I'm in the stone age, having played a few titles from the generation of the 360, but this is one game I'd love to play. Hopefully by the time I get the chance it won't have lost its spark. Once again, looks good, and I'd love to jump into multiplayer without the fear of having my many deaths inputted into some professionals YouTube reel. PS: I know you said it's Blizzard, but for some reason, I kept thinking the game was Ubisoft... I dunno why. |

annnikky:Amount of cars isn't stated, but let's assume there are 8 cars. All eight cars begin to drive. A quarter through the desert, all cars have half a tank. At this point four of the cars transfer their half tanks to the rest. So now four cats are empty, and four have full tanks. Those with full tanks proceed, and when their tanks are at half again, 2 transfer all their fuel to the other two, which would give 2 full tanks. Enough to deliver the letter. |
delishpot:Brilliant, sounds just like Focus. ![]() |
Interesting. Although a Google search seems to verify this news, I hardly believe Turing can achieve such. They couldn't even meet up with delivery schedules for the Turing phone. They delayed deliveries like what, 4 times? And they used a crowdfunding platform, that might be the same approach this time around though. Probably the only way to ensure minimal loss on a phone of such... Vision. That way they only produce as many as we're requested, rather than eventually finding out no one wants a 3000 dollar phone. |
annnikky:"You won't give me a kiss." |

Vintage Ferrari my rear! That's a Dodge Challenger! Wherever the author pulled 'vintage Ferrari' from, don't go there. Dark things happen. |

Beware of women who wield baseball bats. But seriously, she had a baseball bat handy? In a country where baseball isn't even played? Does that mean it was bought purely as weaponry? If yes, that's suweet. |
Aww man... This laptop is a true beauty. I've always loved ASUS, despite the only ASUS I've ever owned being a desktop back in 2000 or so. Look at that design. Then the ROG subbrand is just incredible. Some of the best bang for buck at the midrange, then the most devastating machines at the high end. I've always wanted a ROG. Maybe one day I'll be able to get this one.. If I wanted to spend 500,000 naira (update: 945,000 naira says Google), it'd be on this. Suck a duck Mac. |
annnikky:That's a priest. B) Na wa for the other ones. |
annnikky:Meat! |

KingEbukasBlog:Each letter is a certain number of letters away from the next. It goes, 1, 2,3,then back to 1 and so on. So between A and C is 1 letter, B. Then between C and F is 2 letters. It also jumps down to the next line from the point it stopped, rather than resetting to the start of the line. Here's a picture that might better explain.
