I haven't purchased any myself, but I might as well list the ones I have had: -Sega something-or the-other (too young to remember) -Nintendo 64 (what a darling) -Gameboy Advance (got me hooked on Nintendo) -Xbox (the console that made me who I am, still alive too, and still kicking. 13 years old. Had 2, PAL and NTSC. )-PS2 (slim, lens died after like 6 months. )And that's all. Yeah, and I call myself a gamer, I know, I know... Hoping to get the Nintendo Switch though. Buy it with my own funds. ![]() |
Acidosis:This is not a Christian section. This is a Religion section. Scientologists are as welcome as Christians. :p |
Acidosis:I never mentioned dreams. Don't say I said what I didn't. There's more than enough scientific evidence for dreams. Yes, you're right. And I'm assuming you meant EEG, but that's beside the point. This angel the person saw, if truly they saw something, what stops it from being as real as a fish in space? I mean, someone says Jesus spoke to him, how do we know that this fellow isn't simply hallucinating his savior? And as well, I'm not sure if you know that the content of hallucinations is partly determined by culture and education. A typical Nigerian won't hallucinate and see the CIA or Aliens. That's for the Americans. A Nigerian will probably see what, Jesus? Angels? Satan? Witches? Wizards? Anything of that sort. Especially when you decide to pair it with persecutory delusions. This is why someone saying they saw an angel is as believable as someone who said they saw a pig that could fly. :p And what the heck does it mean when you say the evidence isn't real? Are you trying to say it's all false or what? |
johnydon22:Definitely. I think that's most likely what they are, as long as the individual is being sincere, as you said. |
LightandDarkness:Precisely what I was gonna say. Scientific evidence for hallucinations. Not so for visions/prophecies... |
Some of the counter-arguments here... ![]() |
astarotte:And so am I. I mean, this is basically what I've been waiting for. A handheld that isn't exactly that, and then I get all my favourite first party titles? That's a yes for me. |
Seun:Hehe, sorry mate. Unlike a real courthouse, civility is not mandatory here. I don't know how you maintain your composure sometimes... I probably would have dropped Mjolnir on most of these folks. ![]() |
mokoshalb:Hehe! That was a fantastic game, and same as you, was the first thing that came to me. I think i might have played too many games when I was younger. ![]() |
Loyalty doesn't pay at this point. They won't be loyal to him, cuz it's only business. They'd sell him instantly for the right amount of money, and he should leave as well, for the right amount of money. |
Reminds me of the level in GTA: Vice City where you distributed the flyers for your strip club in the same way. ![]() |
Come on.. . Those are injuries from the glass! Stop defending the incompetence of your incompetent officers! |
Ironic how the 'Religion' section is probably the most hate-filled. I'll leave it to ye whether that says something. |
@hardmirror Sorry if this question might have been asked earlier here, couldn't read through everything. Have you told anyone yet of your loss of faith? And if yes, how did you do it? |
This is some dumb shyyyyyyyiiiiit. |
Where is the love for the GT-R? |
SmooshCHN:Wow man. You've struck us once again with your art. These are all great shots, and I don't know which I like the best. Probably the one of the pagoda. And in your next post, the coloured shot of the pagoda is probably my absolute favourite of all you've done. |
Seun:Well this is one of the most apt remarks towards creationists, honestly, I feel it's brilliant. However, a lot of them will carry their delusions and tell you that they have truly talked to God. I remember when my fanatical roommate was telling us about how he was praying at around 3 AM and then the sky opened, white and bright, in the middle of the night, with light pouring down. Yes... That was my oddest roommate. I remember wondering whether that seriously happened, or whether he was simply delusional. Now I know which I'd think. He used to nearly cry as he prayed... Maybe he actually did. Roll on the floor he did as well. And sing in tongues too. He was odd. |
That camera hump though... Urrgh. |
fineboynl:Why do you think this 'person' is grabbing your nuts? And psychologically, you getting fixated on the first episode, and perhaps thinking about it before sleep may increase the recurrence of similar episodes. |
lycann:I've used both before, but I'd have to say I prefer the 360 controller. Just fits the hands perfectly. At least mine. And no issues with compatibility. |
It's so sad that in the 21st century, some still believe in the existence of witches and wizards. It was in 15th century America that such thoughts were so heavily accepted by the people. Or do you think that those folks they were drowning and burning were truly witches? Could that, oh dear, could that have been the origin? I mean, because we know better. After all, you know they'd toss 'witches' into a lake, and only if they didn't float, were they not witches? So, you're either a witch, or you're dead. Well, same way they eventually learnt better, I 'pray' our country does as well. |
Lazy. Happy. Patient. Peace. |
Ooh... That really sucks... Now can someone get me a Mate 9? :p |
alphamars:It's very annoying... I mean 7.0 is already out and circulating, and we'll be waiting for ordinary 6.0... |
I remember when life was like that. :p |
ORIJIN201:Hehe, don't worry, patience. I have a thread on an Android game I made, and it would totally benefit from front page coverage, but I just have to be patient y'know? |
This is a great thread mate, and damn, Nougat looks good. And BTW, I love Lean On! :p |
sorextee:Their current flagship is the XZ and its on a SD820. |
As you began, I thought I was in for some amazing information... But I know the one about the ATM Pin to be false... And then without even having to waste my time, I know that battery reserve one is utter crap. That car door one is also probably 100% bull. No I haven't tested it, but my basic understanding of science says no. Like... Just... No. Here's one I've personally confirmed... A phone camera will display IR. Point a remote at your camera and you'll see the red light on your screen. Not of much practical use except finding out if your remote batteries are dead. |
Evil spirit they say... As a kid, I once thought my blanket was crawling with ants... I was scared shitless. It was just the pattern. We see weird things at night, especially coming out of fresh sleep. |
Ooh, this place has come back to life. ![]() |
