RomanceIncredible 9 Reasons Men Get Rejected By The Women They Want by hyman9ja(op): 6:50pm On Dec 30, 2015
There are a number of reasons a woman might reject a man. Most of them, the guy has some control over, although not all. Sometimes it’s you, and sometimes it’s not.
Women get hit on and approached by guys a lot. In one way this works against you, as you’re just another dude trying to chat her up. But if you can play it right, it will work for you. Most of the guys hitting on a woman are creeps, or jerks, or just disrespectful. It doesn’t take too much to stand out above those men.
Why are you getting rejected by the woman you like?
Here are the most common reasons that a woman will shoot down a man. You’ll notice that some are beyond your control, but most of them are mistakes that guys make. Are you making any of these? Read on to find out, and correct the ones you’re getting wrong. Your love life will be glad you did.
#1 Being too cocky. Arrogance is the way some guys cope with their perceived shortcomings. For whatever reason, they think that coming off as cocky will cover up the fact that they’re insecure or short or boring or whatever. It never works. Being yourself, whoever that is, beats arrogance any day.
Take the things you might be cocky about and downplay them, or better yet, don’t even talk about them until they come up naturally in conversation. Maybe you have a good job or a nice car. Maybe you’re a good athlete. Whatever it is, she’ll find out in due course, and will be much more impressed than if you just blurted it out.
#2 Lacking in confidence. Probably the quality that women value most in men is self-confidence. More than good looks, money, a great job or a sense of humor, a self-assured man is extremely attractive to women. But too many guys substitute cockiness for confidence, and the two are polar opposites.
A confident man doesn’t brag. He doesn’t need to. He is decisive, making decisions without wavering. He is respectful towards women, polite to waiters, charming, and an all around gentleman. This is something that all guys should strive towards being.
#3 Out of your league. Sometimes, a guy gets rejected because he aimed too high. Let’s face it, there are some women that most guys never have a chance with. It might be about looks or money or age or whatever else. If you shoot for the stars, you can’t be surprised if you crash land.
This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try, though. Sometimes, the prettiest girl at the dance stays alone because everyone is too afraid to approach her. Speak to a woman like this with self-confidence and politeness, and you never know how successful you might become. Just be prepared to be shot down. Rejection is not the end of the world, as long as you can handle it well.
#4 Too self-involved. It’s unbelievable the number of guys that, when flirting with a woman or on a first date, spend an entire evening talking about themselves. Whatever goes through their heads when they do this, either thinking the women are impressed, or that it’s their duty to do all the talking for the woman, they are wrong.
Women hate this about guys more than most other things. Unless you’ve just returned from climbing Mount Everest, you don’t have anything more interesting to say than she does. Even if you really did scale the Himalayas, shut up about it anyway. If she wants to hear more, she’ll ask you. Women are much more impressed by guys who show interest in her life and career. Get over yourself or you’ll stay alone.
#5 Fouling the waters. Unfortunately, bad hygiene is an all too common reason that women reject men. Luckily, it is an easily preventable one. It’s pretty simple. Wash yourself, brush your teeth, wear clean clothes, run a comb through your hair, and you’re pretty much there. It’s easy for guys to get cleaned up and ready to go out. Put in that minimal effort. If you’re not clean, you will be rejected.

Romance8 Signs He's A Keeper by hyman9ja(op): 12:11pm On Dec 26, 2015
YourTango conducted a survey of over 100 mental health professionals to learn what it takes for a man to be considered "husband material."
According to the results, the top three traits marriage-oriented people look for in a man are: his ability to communicate, honesty and reliability. So, besides these three fairly obvious characteristics, what else matters in a potential life partner? We queried the experts to find out:

1. You can be yourself when you're with him.  You don't feel like you have to change your quirky laugh or be less ambitious. You're not afraid to show how smart you are because he truly loves you as you are. He fell in love with "who you were when he met you" and continues to love those same traits as the relationship progresses. — Christine Baumgartner

2. You like how you feel when you’re around him. You feel safe, secure, and cared about because his attitude around you is consistent and dependable. You also feel comfortable, relaxed and happy when you're with him. — Christine Baumgartner

3. He has introduced you to his friends and family. He wants to include you in all parts of his life because he's proud of the relationship he has with you. He's committed to making sure you feel included and this shows you that; he doesn’t have anything to hide and he's serious about your relationship to want everyone in his life to know you're together. —Christine Baumgartner

4. He makes it obvious your happiness and well-being are very important to him. He listens and remembers when you tell him what makes you happy and goes out of his way to accomplish it. He puts your needs in front of his.  —Christine Baumgartner

RomanceHow Long is Appropriate to Wait Before Getting Married by hyman9ja(op):
When I give talks on how to make wise decisions about love relationships, the burning question that someone almost always asks is, “How long do I have to wait?” The phrasing of this question illustrates the fact that waiting can feel like working against the tide
of biology and the romantic rush of falling in love and making it official.
To this question, I respond that most of the things that are worth achieving in life require us to delay gratification and to prioritize restraint over indulgence in more primitive drives. Recall Walter Mischel's marshmallow study which showed the value of the ability to delay gratification.* Mischel offered a group of four year-old children one large, puffy marshmallow but told them all that if they would wait for him to run an errand, they could have not one, but two, lovely marshmallows.
Some of the four-year-olds were able to control their impulse to snatch up and consume their marshmallows for the duration of Mischel’s 15–20-minute errand (which must have felt like several lifetimes for these four-year-olds). Others could not. Mischel followed up with his subjects many years later and found that the ability to control impulses and delay gratification was associated with success in many different areas of life as an adult.
So, in the realm to waiting a sufficient length of time before marrying, are you willing to wait for an endless supply of lovely marshmallows, or do you want to bite down, right now, on something that resembles a marshmallow but may well turn into a bag of pus once you’ve committed? I wonder if this explains why the Spanish word esposas means both “wives” and “handcuffs”?
But, of course, pointing out that not rushing into a pre-mature commitment is very difficult when we’re in love doesn’t really address the question at hand—that is, how long is it until the cocaine-rush of initial infatuation wears off and you can make a good decision?
Some marital experts would argue that two years is a good amount of time to wait. If you are looking for a general rule of thumb, then two years is probably a good length of time for most people, but I don’t personally favor any hard-and-fast rule about how long a courtship should be. I think it depends completely on the character of the people involved, how often they see each other, in what situation(s) they spend their time dating, and how intentional they are about discovering their degree of fit. In some cases, it may be wise to wait three or more years before making a decision, and in other cases, a couple may be able to make a wise decision in less than two years.
As I write this, I’m imagining that some readers may be thinking, “Three years? Really? That seems like much too long!” If you are thinking along these lines, the question to ask is, “When might it be wise to wait three years or longer?” To this, I would say, a lengthy courtship would be wise any time three years (or more) have passed but you still know relatively little about each other.
For example, consider the case of a courtship that has played out during multiple successive military deployments. A military combat deployment is one of the most emotionally super-charged environments imaginable. Life and death may be at stake daily. The threat of loss of the other boosts attraction considerably for both partners. Lack of access to each other, paired with short-lived reunions during R & R weekends, fuels unrealistic fantasies of the true potential of the relationship. Real compatibility is hard to assess based on limited opportunities for interaction. The fantasy script of the stateside partner incorporates the potent thought, “My partner is a hero,” and all sorts of positive traits are then linked to this global perception. On the flip side, it’s quite heady stuff to be told that you are the person a soldier holds in his or her heart amidst the chaos of war. In this case, a much longer courtship may be necessary if you want to make a good decision.

Romance18 Reasons You Should Be Faithful To Your Lover/spouse>>> A MUST READ 4 EVERYONE by hyman9ja(op): 4:11pm On Dec 23, 2015
18 Reasons you should be faithful to your Lover/Spouse

1. Being faithful to your lover encourages your lover to be faithful to you.
2. Being faithful makes your relationship/marriage last. The quickest and easiest way to end your relationship/marriage is by cheating.
3. Being faithful gives you peace of mind, you don’t have to watch your tracks, you are not paranoid, trying to remember every lie you say.
4. Being faithful boosts the quality of your sex life. Faithfulness is sexy. When your spouse knows you are faithful your spouse will give you great sex, no one feels safe sexing a spouse who has been with another.
5. Being faithful makes you focus on your relationship/marriage. You are not distracted, flirting with another/s or sexing another/others. Focus makes you have a healthy love life.
6. There cannot be love without faithfulness.
7. If you don’t want to be faithful, why are you in that relationship/marriage? What is the point of committing if you will not be exclusive? If you are tired of the commitment, end it; don’t stay and cheat, that shows how low you stoop, making a mockery out of your commitment.
8. God is faithful, strive to be like God. God is love.
9. Faithfulness sets the right example for your children to follow. Children learn from our actions and behavior.
10. Being faithful has a positive effect on your character. That way, you are able to live out your greatness with confidence. Integrity is important, and it starts by how you live your private life, it gives moral authority. Mess up your private life and everything else will fall apart.
11. Faithful people are happier, more relaxed, more fulfilled, they smile more; their conscience is clear, living a life that is not stressful, empty or complicated.
12. Being faithful makes you proud of yourself. Yes, you may feel macho or in control when you cheat, you may numb your conscience. But when your unfaithfulness breaks the good that you have and hurts the person and the family you should have been faithful to, it will hurt you too. It will be difficult to live with yourself.
13. Being faithful makes your lover trust you, and with trust, he/she surrenders and gives all to you, you get to know your lover deeply as access is fully granted to you. Without trust, you will never fully receive all the blessings your lover brings.

RomanceHow To Know The Right Age To Get Married by hyman9ja(op): 12:23pm On Dec 22, 2015
In reality, there is no "right" age to get married; age is just a number. It takes maturity and the proper relationship to feel like you are ready to commit your life to someone else. You may feel like your age is the most important factor to getting married, but this couldn't be further from the truth. When you're looking for a partner, it's important to be mentally healthy and to check for signs within your relationship that help you identify when you might be ready for marriage.

LEARNING ABOUT YOURSELF

Identify your personal values. A mature individual knows herself and what she believes in. Before getting married, it's important to know what you value and if you're being completely honest with yourself.

Have a healthy self esteem. By knowing you're worthy of love, you set the bar high on how you'll be treated by your partner. When you have low self esteem, it may allow you to accept unacceptable behavior while preventing you from enjoying a healthy relationship.
When you're insecure, you can be irritable, have poor communication and use impaired judgement in your work and personal life. In order to attract confident and healthy partners, you must have self-confidence.
Know what is important to you. Ask yourself what values you have. If you're a family person, you may want many children and regular family outings. Perhaps you are more career-driven so you may need to skip children all together or wait until later in life to re-evaluate if you want a family. Maybe you are quite religious and need someone of the same faith. Search within yourself and decide what makes you the person you are.

Be honest with yourself about your shortcomings. Self-reflection is important in all stages of personal relationships. If you are unable to be honest with yourself, you can't expect to be honest with another individual. Set aside some personal time to think. When you're alone, consider what you could work on.

Some individuals may have difficulty communicating. If this is you, think about circumstances when you were unable to effectively communicate your feelings or be honest with yourself. Try to be observant of these situations and the points in which you shut off or close down.
Negativity or being too hard on yourself can be difficult to associate with. Imagine yourself with a partner who is unable to accept praise and is generally an unhappy person. Consider why you flee to negative emotions and try to remember there is more than one perspective.

Make a relationship check-list. After you know yourself, you can contemplate what you need out of a relationship in order to move onto marriage. Keep it simple and examine what you value in your friends, family and past relationships. Create a list of what you look for in a partner that consists of must-have, maybes, and absolutely-nots.

Your list should be ever-evolving. You should always grow and change as a person, especially while young so your list should reflect that. Don't be afraid to edit your list after a poorly-ended relationship.
When listing your must-haves, look for common denominators within your life. If all your friends have a sense of humor, it may be an important thing to look for; in contrast, if you prefer to be more serious perhaps you should find a person able to hold more involved conversations. Make your list how you want it. After all, it is yours and yours alone.
When you have an easy go-to list you can easily look for a marriage-worthy partner. Knowing what you want before hand will help keep you on the right track while keeping your standards high.

EXPLORING YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Determine that you can trust your partner. Trust is one of the foundations of a healthy relationship. It's important to trust your partner to avoid a constant feeling of paranoia. If you're always worrying about the feeling of oncoming doom then you can't focus positive energy into your relationship. In order to keep trust strong, keep your expectations clear.

Everyone is allowed their own standards. Perhaps you need your partner to check in at the end of the night. If this is the case, let them know before they make the mistake of not checking in. If you're clear with your expectations, they can be fulfilled. Learn to manage expectations as an unfulfilled expectation can be easily misread as a breach of trust.
Trust is easy to lose and difficult to regain. Once that bond is broken, it can be a long and slow road to repair. Be proactive when addressing your doubts and insecurities about your relationship.

SEYIKP:
This is my third time that I will be going to different girls to ask them out for serious relationship. The similar replied they all gave is that they are already in serious relationship with someone else. I told one of my friend about it and he said it's just an escape gimmick from them to discharge me. Which I dint concur to. My question to the house, is that is it a good/proper thing to always persuade a girl after she has already told you that she's in serious relationship. Because I think it's a selfishness to press her on after she has told me her engagement status. Because. I'm putting myself in the shoe of the other guy she's in love with. Advice from mature minds.

Romance5 Questions You MUST Ask Yourself Before Ending Your Relationship by hyman9ja(op): 6:54pm On Dec 21, 2015
Questions You MUST Ask Yourself Before Ending Your Relationship

Are you staying for the stuff?
When a relationship is fizzling out, you know it. The intense chemistry you once had with your partner has shifted, and you spend more time not talking than talking. It isn't bad but it certainly isn't good either.
Have you ever stayed in a relationship just for the stuff? For example, do you have a great bed? One woman said she stayed in her relationship just because of a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Do you belong to a country club? Do you own a second home in another state that would no longer be yours if you left the relationship? All of this stuff can tempt you to stay in the relationship even if you know it should be over.
Is your happily-ever-after starting to look a little dim? When is it time to move on? It's important to realize that no man is perfect. No man is able to be everything that you need him to be. So, how does a woman know when to compromise in order to keep the peace or when to communicate to her partner in an effort to make the relationship work?
Staying for the stuff is a common choice, and the examples above are true stories of what people choose to stay in relationships for. Are you in a stay-or-go situation? Would you like a hit of psychic wisdom to let you know what to do next? Here are five key questions to consider if you're wondering if your relationship is over:
1. Do you have any chemistry left? If the red hot sexy chemistry has worn off, how are you feeling about that? Do you miss sex? Believe it or not, some people do not miss sex. It may be hard for you to believe it but in today's marriages, there are all kinds of compromises that work.
If the chemistry is dead, are there other worthwhile assets in the relationship ? Is your partner open to you exploring your sexual satisfaction elsewhere? Can you talk about it? Lack of chemistry and sex does not automatically disqualify your man.
2. Are you companionable? If you and your man have many shared interests and enjoy doing things together, that is of tremendous value. Having a companion who likes to spend time with you may not be the same as having rough and tumble sex every night but for many people, it is enough.
Look for signs of companionability with your current mate. List the things you enjoy doing together. If some of your interests are laying dormant, then wake them up! See if you still enjoy his company while doing things you did in the beginning of your relationship.
3. Are you at home in your home? If you feel comfortable in your surroundings and are free to express yourself at home with music, art and food, you have something very valuable. Some tell me they are bored because there is not enough fireworks or excitement. I get that, but you can always take sky diving lessons or take an improve class if you want to get your adrenaline running.
Be very careful what you define as boring. Living in peace with another person can be extremely fulfilling when you release that person from having the responsibility to supply the juice that gets your heart beating. Having peace with your partner can truly bring passion to your life.
4. Do you have a passion? Seriously. What is your passion outside of romance? Do you have a charity you support? My hubby volunteers with the cats at the shelter, socializing the kittens and getting them ready for adoption. Many others find a lot of pleasure and love with animals because they are often so much easier to love than people!
You need passion. Before you leave your relationship, work at finding a passion outside your current interests. Pour yourself into something that feeds your soul. What hobby did you enjoy 20 years ago? Why did you quit? Chances are your partner is feeling the stress of your needing him to be everything to you.
5. How nice is the stuff? This is a serious subject, and sometimes the loss of the stuff is considerable. When I divorced, I had a friend say to me, "I could never do what you are doing. I would lose too much."
Sometimes the stuff of life keeps you in longer than you should be there. No one can tell you how happy you are, or how happy you should be. All I can tell you is that when you approach your 50s, you need to be exceedingly careful before you move on. If you live in comfort, have companionability, and a reasonably good communication system, there is only one more thing you need to know so that you can stay ... at least for now.

If you and your mate are considering parting ways, it is a serious thing for both of you. The one ingredient that I believe you must have to make it work is collaboration. Webster's defines collaboration as "the act of working with another on a joint project." Without collaboration, there is little chance your relationship will last. You have a joint project, whether you like it or not. The joint project is your coupleness, as you define it.
Review the five keys and make a date with yourself to seriously consider your current situation. If you still want to co-create something that works with your partner, recommit yourself to communicating that to him. If you need to, talk to a coach, mentor, pastor, or a good friend. Make a plan on how to impress upon your partner that creating a collaborative effort to jump start your withering relationship is your number one priority, and then act on that plan.

We Are hoping to hear from you, and wish you encounter a loving relationship in your life, and build a lasting love life and also plan for the future yeah, Always think things through before making a final decision.

Romance26 Things To Consider Before Saying “I Do” by hyman9ja(op): 12:07pm On Dec 19, 2015
Will you marry me?

Questions to ask yourself:

1. Am I in love with the idea of marriage, or am I in love with the (wo)man? Am I just looking at the excitement of everything that it takes to put a wedding together, and not focusing on anything beyond the wedding day?
2. Am I having second thoughts before I even set the date, or even a month before the wedding?
3. Am I ready to be faithful and true to only one person for the rest of my life?
4. How honest am I with myself? What are my true feelings for my significant other?
5. If wedding plans are already in motion, am I just going along with them not for fear of hurting someone’s feelings, or making them feel like they were used for their money, or as if their money was wasted, even though I want to call the whole thing off?
6. Am I emotionally, physically, and mentally prepared for all aspects of marriage?
7. Am I ready to say ‘I do’ without any doubts that I am doing the right thing?
8. If need be, am I willing to pack up my whole life and move away from friends and family if asked?
9. Am I willing to leave my friends behind for my husband/wife or will my friends always come first?
10. Is my significant other accepted by my family? If not, why? Does it bother me if they don’t? Am I marrying him/her just to anger my family?
11. Am I willing to wait longer than I already have to make sure that I am really ready to be married to this person, or do I just want to get it over with?
12. Have we had the important talks about children, and families?
13. Do either of us have any debts, and who’s responsibility do they become once we are married?
14. Do we have the same expectations of marriage?
15. Do I like the way my significant other is around children, will they make the kind of parent I want for our children?

Romance10 Thoughts Every Woman Has When She Sees A New Pen*s by hyman9ja(op): 10:46am On Dec 18, 2015
As much as we love this male reproductive organ, an initial encounter with one can spark some mixed
emotions. First off, if you're in the presence of one, it's very likely you're about to participate in some exciting sexy time. Score. But since his package can come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, it's totally normal to have a few thoughts on the status of his junk before it all goes down. Here, 10 things you've definitely thought after catching a glimpse of his man-parts. No 6 will make you laugh grin grin

1. "Woah, I definitely should not have judged this guy on his height." Surprise—it's huge! You did not see that one coming.
2. "Score—he's a manscaper!" You're not afraid of a little fuzz, but it's definitely more enjoyable if you don't have to maneuver around those hairs.
3. "Hmm, I've never seen that kind of curve before." Like snowflakes, fingerprints, and Beyoncé's hairstyles, no two joysticks are exactly alike—except maybe ones belonging to identical twins. Note to self: Google that later.
4. "It kind of looks like one of those wrinkly dogs." Turns out, this guy is uncircumcised and is hiding a tiny pug in his pants.
5. "It looks like he's a shower, not a grower." He has all his cards on the table, and you're not mad about it. Click link to see full list >>>>>>

14 Things You Should Never Tolerate In A Relationship===MUST READ
Things You Should Never Tolerate In A Relationship, Because You Deserve Someone Who Wants You To Succeed

Romance can make us blind to all the signs that we're in a bad relationship. It is difficult to accept the fact that the loves of our lives can also possess awful, sometimes dangerous qualities. How can one person seem so fantastic, yet have such horrible tendencies and habits only moments later? Nobody is perfect, and people grow and change, so hopefully any mild issues within your partnership can be resolved. However, other problems can only be taken care of by ending the relationship and breaking all ties with your partner. So what are some of the problems that you should never tolerate in a relationship?

Many of the intolerable behaviors that partners may exhibit stem from insecurity and the desire to establish control and dominance in the relationship. Partners may make frequent unfounded cheating accusations, utter cruel remarks regarding your goals and accomplishments, or try to convince you that your grievances are made-up as a result of their own inferiority complexes. Sometimes your partner's controlling behavior can escalate to include intimate partner violence, also known as IPV. IPV can manifest itself as physical, emotional, psychological, and/or sexual abuse.
You should never put up with a partner who makes you feel small, dram or unworthy so that they can build themselves up. You should never put up with a partner who abuses you.
With that being said, here are 14 specific examples of things you shouldn't tolerate in a relationship:
1. Emotional Or Verbal Abuse

So many of us accept emotional abuse without realizing it. Physical abuse comes with bruises you can see, but emotional abuse is characterized by manipulative comments and controlling behavior that cause self-doubt. Live Bold and Bloom explains, “The victim of the abuse often doesn't see the mistreatment as abusive. They develop coping mechanisms of denial and minimizing in order to deal with the stress."
The behavior of emotional abusers may seem insignificant at first, but ongoing degrading treatment is representative of a much deeper issue. Behaviors to keep an eye out for include humiliating you in front of family, friends, or co-workers, forcing you to ask permission before you can go somewhere, taking anger out on you whether or not the problem has anything to do with you, insulting you and calling you cruel names, and threatening you in order to maintain control — and the list goes on.
Long-term emotional abuse can result in low self-esteem, withdrawal from family and friends, depression, illness, anxiety, and giving up on goals. You do not deserve this treatment, but recognizing and leaving an emotional abuser is a process that takes time. Take advantage of available resources and hotlines as you gather the courage to leave the relationship.
2. Physical Abuse

If your partner is physically abusing you, gathering the courage, strength, and ability to leave is a long, difficult process that can be complicated by economic barriers, among other issues. So be kind to yourself, while also recognizing that you do not deserve this treatment and have every right to leave the relationship. When you have decided that you are ready, there are precautions and steps to take in order to make your transition easier and safer. These include gathering any evidence of the abuse should you decide to press charges, having at least two escape plans and a predetermined safe place to go, and packing a bag with cash, medication, legal documents, a change of clothes, etc.

3. A Partner Making You Feel Horrible When You Don't Want To Have Sex, Which Can Often Lead To Assault

Marital rape, or the raping of one's spouse, wasn't illegal in every US state until 1993. The majority of state criminal codes contained a disgusting "marital rape exemption," essentially declaring rape between spouses to be impossible. As RAINN explains, these horrifying laws represented the ideology "that only stranger rape constituted 'real rape' or that forced sex is a 'wifely duty.'" While the crime is now recognized by law books, like other forms of sexual assault, it still occurs, is often not reported, and rapists are often not convicted. Our culture already makes it difficult for survivors to recognize and report rape, so it becomes even more difficult to understand your romantic partner as a rapist.
That's why it's important to recognize that partner/marital rape can happen in otherwise non-violent relationships, and to remember that consenting to a sexual act once does not mean consenting to a sexual act for all time. If your partner pressures you to engage in unwanted sexual activities because it is your “duty" or because you "owe" them, the relationship is abusive, unhealthy, and unsafe, and you deserve so much better.

4. Body Shaming

When your partner shames you for your weight, appearance, etc., not only is it cruel, immature, and based in patriarchal falsehoods, but it can also be a manipulative way to convince you that you'll never be good enough for anybody else; that you can't leave your relationship, because no one else will ever love you. It's a sickening method of establishing dominance and control in a relationship. You're beautiful. Lots of people know you're beautiful. You don't have to stay with a person whose internal ugliness leads them to try and convince you otherwise.

5. A Partner Refusing To Listen To Your Sexual Need

If a partner rushes through pre-intimacy because they consider their orgasm more important than yours, makes you feel bad about your sexual preferences/needs because they require effort, or pressures you into activities that make you uncomfortable, voice your dissatisfaction and discomfort without shame.

6. A Partner Belittling Your Career Aspirations

It's impossible to have a healthy relationship with someone who doesn't want to see you succeed. It's one thing for your partner to provide constructive criticism, or to express frustration if your career has you ignoring the relationship. But if your partner's insecurity, jealousy, controlling nature, sexist ideology, etc. causes them to actively insult your work ethic, mock your achievements, or even convince you to turn down opportunities, then you need to either confront the issue or walk away from the relationship. If you do neither of these things, imagine how you'll feel, years later, after passing up an amazing experience to appease a selfish partner who didn't want you to surpass their own accomplishments.

7. A Partner Not Publicly Acknowledging Your Relationship

If you and your partner have mutually decided to enter a committed relationship, as opposed to a FWB, casual dating, or hookup situation, then it shouldn't be a secret (unless, of course, there are reasons you two have chosen to keep it under wraps, away from familial and social pressures, etc.) However, if that is not the case with your relationship, yet they won't introduce you to friends as a significant other, then consider it a red flag. If you are spending time on this relationship, then you deserve recognition. Does your partner consider you a placeholder, and doesn't want to appear tied down in case someone else comes along?

RomanceThe Future Is A Must To Discuss With Your Spouse/ Partner :(;) by hyman9ja(op): 9:23am On Dec 14, 2015
Let's just get this out of the way: This post will not tell you how to talk about the future of your relationship without ruining everything. What it will do, however, is walk you through a few ways I have almost ruined everything and why I continue to insist on almost ruining everything when I talk about the future with my long-term boyfriend.

People go bonkers about this. Perfectly reasonable humans turn into walking rom-com tropes when it comes to the future of their relationships. The non-married, long-term couples I know tend to fall on a spectrum:

At one extreme, there are those who are obsessed with their future plans. They have timelines. They have rings and baby names and curtains and grave plots picked out. They have built their Tunnel of Love and they are just so excited to live in it forever you guys and tell you all about it... whether you like it or not.

At the other end of the spectrum are the couples that turn into mob witnesses when asked about their future plans. Are they thinking of getting married? They can't recall. Do they want kids? No comment. They haven't thought about it. They're playing it by ear. They're seeing where things go. They're perfectly happy right now, and that's good enough for them, alright, Mom and Dad?! Jesus...

And where does my relationship fall on this spectrum?

I live in a Tunnel of Love with a mob witness.

I've always been a planner. Or maybe it's more accurate to say that I've always been a dreamer. My idle mind is constantly concocting elaborate fantasies about all the things I really want to -- or even just think in passing it might be cool to -- do with my life. I fantasize about having a beautiful apartment. I fantasize about winning a Tony. I fantasize about getting married and having kids. I fantasize about being on Chopped. I fantasize about traveling and working abroad. I fantasize about quitting jobs dramatically and telling off bosses and stupid coworkers. I am very rarely, if ever, thinking about tonight or tomorrow. Or even next month. I tend to be thinking one-three years in advance most of the time. That's my default mind-wandering horizon. continue story here...

RomanceMistakes Women Make Dealing With Cheating Husbands by hyman9ja(op): 9:53am On Dec 13, 2015
It’s a heart wrenching situation when someone discovers his or her partner is cheating. It’s a situation in which most people cannot handle with grace; some lose faith in the relationship while many take drastic steps that worsen the situation.

Women being emotional tend to over react when issues like this arise, most lack the patience to think things through and come up with the best decision. Without trying to put blame on women who have gone to the extreme in handling cheating husbands, a lot of assessment should be made on the best way to handle sensitive issues like that.

When men cheat, the entire blame shouldn’t be placed on them. Women are quick to conclude about the men being at fault, thereby throwing all the arrows in their direction. It’s totally normal for people to react in different ways; finding out that your partner, in whom you have placed your trust, is seeing someone else and doing things you used to do together could be shattering. However, it should be put in mind that whatever decision or step one takes at that time would determine the future of such relationships.

1. Not Being Prepared
Sometimes, there may be nothing you can do about a man cheating. Men cheat for all sorts of reasons and no matter how hard the women try, the men simply can’t help pulling down their pants. Some women are too trusting; believing it’s impossible for their husbands to cheat. These men are only human and could be subjected to different forms of temptations. While a woman may see her husband as being faithful and incapable of cheating, remember there are some wild ladies out there who would do anything to prove to him they could have a win-win relationship where they both get satisfied with no strings attached.

2. Avoid Becoming a Detective
Lots of women make the mistake of probing and taking the role of a detective when they sense their husbands are cheating. Not only do they make enquiries about things they hear, they also go on to look for physical proofs they can hold on to. Monitoring text messages, phone calls and social platforms of the man would only cause more problems and make him want to go ahead with the affair to spite the women. Avoid accusing your partner without being sure of the facts gathered. In essence, there’s the chance your findings would make you sad. Avoid robbing yourself of your happiness. Romance5 Ways To Save Your Love Relationship by hyman9ja(op): 9:45am On Dec 13, 2015
our relationship with your significant other, when it's good, can be the highlight of your life and light up every cell in your body.
On the other hand, a difficult, stressful relationship can be hazardous to your health. Hostility in intimate relationships increases your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, sudden death, and suppresses your immune system.
Here are 5 things you can do to immediately begin to improve the quality of your relationship:
1) Tend To Your Own Garden
How much time do you spend thinking about or complaining about what he or she is doing wrong? Catch yourself, and stop. Consciously turn your focus, at that moment, to what would be the best thing you could do, right now, to look after yourself and your own life.
Could you call a friend? (note: this would be to say hello, not to complain!) Are your finances in dire need of attention? Could you do something around the house that you've been putting off that's weighing on you? How about going for a walk, or a trip to the gym, to burn off your frustration and those extra pounds?
There's always something more productive that you can do rather than stewing or complaining. Clearly, if you're upset and there's a major conflict in your relationship, it needs to be addressed at some point (women, in particular, who hold in resentments and unexpressed anger are at greater risk for early death). However, if you spend a significant amount of your life energy being angry with or complaining about your partner, resolve to take the attention off of them and onto what needs to be attended to in your own life.
2) Learn to be Happy, No Matter What They Do
If your happiness depends on what another person does or doesn't do, you're sure to be miserable at some point, if not most of the time. When you're enjoying a perfectly good day and someone marches in and starts dumping their anger or frustration or bad mood on you, become aware of this phenomenon and catch yourself before you get "infected" by their emotional state. Don't let them drag you down!
Decide to be happy, no matter what. Find, or create, things about your life that you enjoy, and focus on them when things get tough. click link to get complete story http://lovesfactory..com.ng/2015/12/5-ways-to-save-your-love-relationship.html
