If this news is not fake. And from is interview, only one ventilator have been used so far in this pandemic.

SoNature: While you raised some valid points, you must understand why governments around the world are implementing lockdowns.
The truth of the matter is that Covid-19 is a new virus, and researchers don't know much about it up till now.
It is veryyyyyyyy misleading to assume that the little you know about the disease is all there is to it. Yes, researchers are losing sleep just to understand it better even till today.
For instance, if you read some facts about Covid-19 on WHO website, you will see that there are many questions begging for answers.
In summary, you can only contain something you understand not something you don't. The idea of lockdown is to reduce human interaction to the barest minimum because it's the fastest way of reducing the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
It's quite a pity that we always bastardize things in this country, including religion and lockdowns. i find more sense in what you quoted than what you posted. |

The citizen have every right to be ungrateful even to the most satisfactory project in any part of this country. Angelfrost: I have said my mind on this inhumane lockdown... I pointed out the impracticality of such in a poverty stricken population. Some of you here attacked me for voicing the clear obvious... Behold! This is just a tip of the inevitable!
When people with foresight speak, myopic individuals think they know better.
Lemme just be observing all of you... Some of you think you are safe in your "Castles" and "Fortresses"!!!... Don't you worry... Time will tell. is because they don't care about the masses, they only fear getting infected from the masses, that is why the sit at home song is already a hit. If they actually care about the masses they should have also considered the predicament of the masses. An average rich man in Nigeria is selfish. As you said in your last sentence, they should be prepared. |

[quote author=franchasng post=87981333]US government is paying citizens and permanent resident holders $1200 and above depending on your income and size of family....Canada is paying $2000 + house rent, Spain is paying house rent, babyseater, etc, Ireland is paying citizens, PR holders, students 350 Euros per week to cushion the effect of the economic hardship coronavirus will bring. All countries are rolling out massive welfare packages and even post-coronavirus pandemic economic palliatives to ensure their citizens doesn't feel the negative impact of this global pandemic now and when it is over. Buhari and APC just woke up and said they have compiled a list of vulnerable and poor Nigerians and families, when and how Who compiled the list, how did they compile the list, using what indices and who was in charge ] your post is full of shit from the second part. So much wrong generalization. Who told you whites don't steal? That really brings your personality to question also. |
