I have it already. I was told that to arrange names on a passport renewal , it will cost like #150k thereabout , then i will have to be present in Abuja(FCT) for capturing.. This is big time punishment.

In a state like Lagos that has about 3 passport offices , could have been empowered with such powers to make corrections. Everything doesn't have to be in FCT.

Child Custody: Over 18,000 Sign Precious Chikwendu's Petition Against FFK (Photos)

Over 18, 000 signatories have signed a petition started by Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of a former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode seeking the custody of her children — Aragorn, Ragnar, Aiden, and Liam, IGBERETV reports.

The former beauty queen started the petition some days ago to the United Nations as a way to put an end to bullying and oppression from spouses who have more political power over the other.

She alleged that she was physically abused by the former minister when they were still together.

Her petition on change.org which sought 10,000 signatures has so far garnered 18, 365 signatories as of the time of filing this report. The petition is now aiming for 25, 000 signatories to make it one of the top signed petition on change.org.

The reason why some pupils are posted to schools far away from their homes is because schools close to their proximity are filled up and cannot take more. And there’s no space or land to build new schools, thus the reason for such posting. And these postings are mostly in secondary schools. Public primary schools are not as patronized as private primary schools. The pupils of publicprimary schools are always fewer than public secondary schools.

The government is doing it’s best and trust me they cannot provide all these children need. In a state where a large percentage do not pay taxes?

The government isn't doing it's best... To say there is no land to build new schools is laughable. I thought all lands belong to the government (Land Use Act 1978). The question is why do parents patronise private primary schools than public primary schools ?!

Since , i was younger and growing , i haven't seen any new public primary school constructed and founded... Even at the secondary level. Almost all the schools , if not all , were founded before the Democratic dispensation took off.

The society is developing/ evolving , govt policies needs to be deliberately done to suit these changes , especially in the areas of human capital development

Lagos should have been an exception , but as we know corruption won't allow it.

The parents or guardians of such kids should answer why those kids are not in school. Education in Lagos state is free. The parents only need provide uniforms and other stationery for their kids.

The siting of these primary schools isn't in closer proximity to parents , in terms of trekable distance to the school. This often discourage parents in exposing their children to the ills of the road and transportation costs, hence the need to prioritize. No new public primary schools had been built lately ... Only the existing ones despite the growing population and new developing areas...

The government of the day needs to be criticised in areas where they are failing. Need i remind you that Primary school enrollment os ome of the criterias or indices to measuring development in a society , and Lagos is not meeting up in this regard , especially as one of the leading states in Nigeria.

high cost of living ...low standard of living are the reasons why those kids are not in school..the enabling environment not created by government seem responsible for that..

Your landlord is very correct. Your rent should be from February 2020 to January 2021(12 months) and not February to February( that is 13-months)...

Yea, i grab. I actually didn't mean "exchange rate " in its strictest sense. I mean the amount it will be exchanged in the Black market(Abokis) ,with regards the paper notes , since the banks are no longer receiving it

I got a mail this morning notifying Wema bank customers about the topic. I was surprised though cos i didn't know and i have about £120 at home , saving it pending visiting the UK.
