Kuriosmynd: I mean how can u marry and your wife is abroad while u are in Nigeria. I don't quite understand. A cousin of mine married 3 years ago, my age mate , till today he hasn't been able to relocate to meet his wife. I mean is it possible one guy wont be servicing her steady? How do such husband handle such thought. The Lady is Nigerian and nurse in the U.S. They commhnicate with zoom. I hear of husband keeping their wife in Nigeria while hustling abroad . But the case of wife husling abroad while husband in Nigeria has no wherewithal or visa luck of going abroad is strange. You can imagine the confidence and rest of mind the wife over there will be serviced...this life ehn. You can share ur thought and experience. Even if na d wife dey Nigeria , thoughts will still be there and she is receiving steady knacking, either ways ,e go happen! I think, instead of men to be puzzled by such thought, they need to continuously re-orientate their wives into the kind of person they should identify with and advocate a distance knacking( where she is not known and with whom no sabi her wella) eg. You are living in ketu, Lagos , get knacking from someone in Ayobo after ipaja and don't tell him real details about you. And also get her sex stuff, like a Love Machine to use, when she needs it. This will curb her quest to explore , until she sees/ meet the Ayobo guy again. And she will do just that. But, re-orientation no dey work with guyz situation. They will knack anybody (that appeals to them) available. |

Lagosians are really tired of the statusquo . It is evident in the just concluded LG election with respect to voter's turn out . A friend told me how they had to give even the PDP agent and few supporters money in their Polling unit in order to vote on the ballot paper, since people refused to come out and vote , even APC party members in the ward. |

Lagos 2023 And Jandor’s Challenge Of Status-quo. July 25, 2021 By Idris Sheriff
He goes by the sobriquet, Jandor . Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, the Lead Visioner of Lagos4Lagos movement seems to have his eyes fixed on the Lagos state Ikeja House come 2023.
His group, Lagos4Lagos has become an octopus of sort in the ruling APC that the party apparatick has declared a fatwa on him.
Everywhere Jandor goes, the state quiver and clamp down on him. He has almost become a person non grata in his own political party that his birthday celebration did not only attract sanctions—it must be canceled.
Last year, after paying the normal fees and all the arrangement in place, his 43rd birthday celebration scheduled to hold at Skypower Ground, Ikeja was canceled barely twenty-four hour to the event. And the police authority in charge of the place was honest enough to disclose to Jandor that the cancellation was from the ‘power from above’. That’s not all. He was scheduled to be part of the guests of Lagos State University, Ojo to bid its iconic 8th substantive Vice Chancellor, Prof Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun farewell after a successful tenure, yet the state government insisted that his name must be deleted from the program.
His offense was that he has the temerity to challenge the Statusquo when others trembled.
At Makoko’s Day 2021, the community extended invitation to Jandor to be part of the celebration, but the state also considered it as an affront to have anything to do with the ‘Enfant Terrible’ of the Lagos politics who has never hidden his political ambition to take over power in 2023 and return the state to its glorious days when people call the shots.
It thus appears that the Awori born Journalist turned politician has an aura of invincibility around his persona that he has suddenly become a threat to the ambition of some people.
Jandor who was born in Mushin is from Ojo Local Government of Lagos state and has told those who cared to listen that the state should rise up and put an end to ‘Baba Sope’ politics that has been entrenched in the state for so long.
He has carried his message of returning power to the people to the elites and the ‘talakawas ‘ in the state that they can change the statusquo if they are really determined. His group has also challenged the N2million nomination fee imposed on the chairmanship aspirants contesting for the just concluded election in the state.
At a press conference in Ikeja recently , Bode Makinde, Principal Coordinator of Lagos4Lagos flanked by Seun Soyinka, Director, Strategy & Communications and Central Coordinator, Funke Ijaiyekunle described the nomination fee as outrageous and insensitive. He also queried the rationale behind the mode of screening of aspirants which he says was skewed to favour those in the party before as oppose to those joining when the party said all new entrants will be given a fair treatment.
Recently, Jandor returns to Police College for a sensitization rally with his teaming supporters across the state. And while the national leader of the APC , Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has proscribed both Mandate and Justice caucuses in the party, Lagos4Lagos has continued to mobilize for 2023.
Will 2023 be a defining moment for the ruling party in Lagos state? Will Jandor upset the apple cart? Time will tell !!! |

pansophist: With your Dutch resident permit, you can visit additional 50 countries without a visa spread across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Also, Netherlands is built in such a way that you do not need a car. Unlike Canada, where having a car is a must. Just have your monthly travel card and you can visit the whole country unlimitedly. Compare to Canada, Netherlands is lively. Canada is really a lonely place, people hardly mix, forget the diversity rubbish, its all advertisement.
If you have kids, then you must choose the Netherlands. ''Helicopter parenting'' that is prevalent in North America is not here, and society and laws are structured in a way that encourages kid's independence. Kids as young as four go to school with their bikes unsupervised, you'll be free as a parent to do other things unlike Canada where letting your kids as free here can make the government take your kids away from you. Also in Just two hours from Rotterdam, you are in Paris, one hour to Antwerp, and flying around Europe is cheaper than going to Abuja by bus. It is common for Europeans to travel to another country during the weekend, personally, I visit at least 20 destinations annually, within Europe, Africa, and the middle east, yes flying is that cheap. Check out ryanair.com, or wizzair.com, you will see flights as cheap as 10 USD both ways.
See, matter plenty. But if you minus English, I honestly don't see why you will choose a deep freezer over the Netherlands. I was there for a friend's wedding, thinking I would migrate, but men, spending a month there was enough condition that where I am is better. But it is just my opinion, yours may be different. You are making me fall in love with Europe . I look forward to visiting The Netherlands soon, God willing. Will holla @ you. Next year tho |

As he(Tinubu) is organising his loyal team( ward Excos...) also, the Abuja boys cliq ( dem Fashola, muiz Banire, fouad Oki , Ambode[ new member], Abdul-Azeez Adediran[ JANDOR] ,et al dey organise across wards. Tinubu will eventually give considerations to their input cos if he doesn't , Lagos APC go soon get Faction. Look at what is happening in Kwara state already ( Bukola Saraki at work ). Tinubu knows that once Lagos has issues that is so obvious to all , then APC in South West will be gone , in no distant time, hence create room for adequate talks and negotiations. I think President Buhari is privy to all these , even before it starts and he may be in support of restoring order to APC and a person of interest to succeed him, come 2023. bigpicture001: Yes it true that we always claim that family is everything, they will never desert you bla bla bla....but my main question is, is your family always right in taking your top ranking position of importance..?
Many atimes we have heard of family members betrayals just like friends do. We have heard of family abandonment of a sibling, we have seen a lot if times how elder siblibgs jettision youger ones and face thier own life...
My girlfriend is an orphan with four other siblings. Who grew apart in other relatives houses. Everyone is now adult..she cant seem to get over her emotional connections to her siblings, always claming they com first even before her lover or eventual hubby or even the children she will birth...
Looking at the family, I don't even see what is so special a sacrifice they have done for themselves. Example her eldest bro who earns over 600k monthly gave her a paltry 15k for a trip to sokoto for her NYSC. A place she has never been to..this includes t/fare, feeding etc. Her siblings would never feel like being around each other except it calls for a serious Holiday like xmas...there are many more I can't list here.
Wtf! My family have much more sacrifices for each other yet we understood the roles new person entering the family through love have in each and everybody's lives....
People are so two faced in this country claiming family family but dont really care..for the ladies that wil crop up on this thread..first ask yourself how many times have your brother bought you exmas gift or burthday gift before you open ur lieing mouth
Mind you this is not to underscore, the relevance of family bond, but everyone that affects your life should be rightly placed where they importantly belong. But op knows that Change is the only constant thing in life. In case there are changes(undesirable behaviour from you) to the smooth sail and flow of your relationship and she has already let-go of the better relationship with her siblings , who/where will she now turn to ? Na wa for you oO |

MeghaneMorgane: I want to add that you should get ready for your ear to pain you. During accent and decent, the pressure in the ear drums changes and it can make your ear to start paining you. Till today, I do not know the cure for that thing. When you come out of the flight, you can bearly hear. It is only after some hours or the next day that your ear will go back to normal. Some people say chewing gum during the flight can help. But it has never helped me. I checked online and discovered that there is a device that can help regulate the pressure in the ear during the whole trip. I am yet to try it out though. Some Airplanes don’t give that painful feeling in the ear. Like one time when I used Air France, my ears were perfect throughout the flight. But Nigerian flights always give me that feeling in my ears. Actually , the article emphasizes more on " Before" boarding... It's ok that you mentioned what to expect thereafter tho |

Should we show you the board directors and Managers of nnpc? All northerners. They enjoyed the oil more than the owners of the oil and it's enough. They should go and find something else to live by while we enjoy our oil. Thank you. I appreciate the fact that you knew efforts were put into it, unlike mrvitalis. I agree that they enjoyed it more but the leadership in the SS have shortchanged the people based on corruption , otherwise it's development would have been more than what we are seeing now.
