Ok, lets get started. I will be quoting from Chapter 2 (Surah Al-Baqorah)of the Holy Quran.

VERSE 30: "And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know."
This is before Allah(God) created mankind, and note the word He said He said He WANT TO PLACE US(all mankind) ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH. And the angels brought their suggestion that these people will only cause mischief on the surface of the earth, and Allah(God) replied them that He knows what they do not know (because he created them, and their knowledge is limited)

After God created Prophet Aadam(peace be upon him), now the quest to place him on the surface of the earth now begin.

VERSE 31: "And He(God) taught Adam all the names (of everything) , then He showed them to the angels and said, "Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful."
Then God taught Aadam (peace be upon him) the names of everything. And God challenged the angels to name the things. The angels then reply below

VERSE 32: "They (angels) said: "Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise."
This shows the submissiin if the angels to their Creator that they knew nothing except what Allah(God) wants them to know. Then...

VERSE 33: "He(God) said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?"

VERSE 34: "And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah)."
God want the angels and Satan to know how respectable the first man He created with His Own Hand is, that is why He commanded them to prostrate(in respect, not by means of worship) to Aadam.

I hope you remember the first verse I quoted that Mankind are meant to come to this earth, not to dwell in paradise. Although Gid created the first man not on the earth but in the heaven(paradise).

VERSE 35: "And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers)."
A warning by their Creator.

VERSE 36: "Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."
Satan whispers into their ears to eat the forbidden fruit, why did he do that? Because he was arrogant and too proud, notice that he was the only one that didn't not bow in respect to Adam because of his arrogance and that's why he(Satan) become the cursed one till the day of judgement.

VERSE 37: "Then Adam received from his Lord Words . And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful."

VERSE 38: "We said: "Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve."

That is how Commanded the both to come down to the surface of the earth. So the believe that some people had that it was the fault of Adam and Eve that we their children suffering on this earth, that if not for their disobedience we the children will rather be in Paradise is not true at all at all. Since God want to place us on the earth from the beginning and there will be a cause for that, and it is their disobedient to what God haf already willed to happen
That is little explanation I can do for now.

Sufi people, at least majority combined the two but this pathetic so called Abu nonsense and the likes only pursue knowledge of shari'a. You can't study one and reject the other. That's misguidance.

Imam Malik (ra) said: "whoever studies Jurisprudence (tafaqaha) and didn't study Sufism [tasawwafa] will be corrupted; and whoever studied Sufism and didn't study Jurisprudence will become a heretic; and whoever combined both will be reach the Truth." [the scholar'Ali al-Adawi , vol. 2, p 195.)

So u can see this guy is corrupted mentally. Nothing goes into his brain except ONLY what he thinks is right.

In which books of Imam Maalik can we see that statement? You only mentioned the writer who quoted Imam Maalik..

Bismilah. Sister be aware that attaining the success of this world is only by worldly means . Worldly Means here has two categories Good Means( e.g. you can decide to read and study very well so that you can pass the exam) and Bad Means(e.g. you decide to cheat during the exam). If the former read well and write the exam very well he will surely pass. The later also might cheat well and will also pass the exams. Know that Allah only give us what He wills of this world.

The fact that your husband does not pray does not mean that he can't attain the success of this world. Even those that say there is no God are given the worldly thing by Allah. If you supplicate to Allah and your prayers were not answered it is not because of ur sin or righteousness. But a believer in Allah will always centre everything he does to Allah. Hoping for his mercy. May Allah enrich me and You of the goodness of this world and the hereafter Aamin. Tell your husband to observe sallat daily, and ewmind him of the punishment of Allah.
