There has been mixed reactions as major stakeholders in Bayelsa State All Progressive Party (APC) were absent from their just concluded State Executives Inauguration.

TalkeetMedia gathered that former Gubernatorial Flag bearer of the APC Chief David Lyon, Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri and the younger brother to the immediate past Deputy Governor Hon. Gabriel Jonah were all absent from the Inauguration of the Dennis Otiotio led faction.

The Chief Falaba Itubo led factor has published a press statement asking Party members and members of the party to disregard the Inauguration as there was no valid congress by the party for the stated offices. He noted that Barr . Dennis Otiotio was never elected as Chairman of the party in the State.

"The certificate of return he is parading is not known to the party's constitution" Chief Falaba Itubo added.

Chief Falaba has urged all law abiding party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to steer clear from the illegal inauguration.

The Treasurer, PDP Students Wing Bayelsa State Chapter Comr. Kumo George Kumo, who is a son of a former SSA on Youth Mobilization to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan while he was Governor of Bayelsa State, has called out his Party in the state.

According to the student leader, his father worked for the Restoration Government led by Henry Seriake Dickson in 2012, working directly with former Deputy Governor Gboribiogha John Jonah.

While returning from an official function with other party members in February 2013, their bus was involved in an accident, where he broke his femur in two places.

After promising heaven and earth, nothing was done and he was abandoned.

Comr. Kumo George Kumo wrote on his official Facebook page

"The same PDP that abandoned my Father after he was involved in that accident in 2013 that left him bedridden for 4 good years...

Used crutches for two more years, and now has affected his walking step...

Normally I no suppose identify myself with this party, cause they did nothing all these years...

But now I'm still working for and promoting the same party, to the point I was even nicknamed PDP while in school...

I'm not being paid, it's all for love and solidarity...

Akekere Jerry, made the advocacy in Yenagoa at the inaugural lecture and reception of the body in the senatorial district with the theme, "Youth Participation in Governance, A Panacea for National Unity and Sustainable Development."

The convener, lamenting that the despite the Not Too Young To Run Bill signed into law in 2018, the youths seem not to have taken the centre stage of governance in the country, said to further encourage youths, efforts are ongoing to initiate in the National Assembly from the Youth Parliament, a bill to establish a Youth Developmental Bank to give youths access to grants and loans for such purposes.

The Key note speaker and Executive Secretary, Bayelsa State Students Loan Board, Dr Michael Amaegberi represented by Mr Ebipatei Apaingolo and the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Youth Grassroots mobilization, Mr Asari Kelly, advised youths to change their mindset and be ready to do things differently, in preparation for leadership.

In their goodwill messages, the commissioner for youths and sports development, Mr Daniel Igali represented by the director of youths education, Mr Iwumansi Robert and a former parliamentarian in the Nigeria Youth Parliament, Comrade Atti Moses urging the youths of the state to align themselves with the theme of the programme, stressed the need for youths to support their fellow youths into governance.

The Students Management Committee member Onisoman Kos-Ikah made a Facebook post commending his Principal the Honourable Commissioner for Education Hon. Dr. Gentle E. Emelah for his giant strides in the Educational Sector.

The post didn't go down well with Comr. Patrick Ikio the National Union of Bayelsa State Students Worldwide President, Comr. Patrick shared the SMC member's post with the caption "data boys"

This action of the NUBSS Worldwide President infuriated Comr. Onisoman and he commented that the NUBSS Worldwide President Comr. Patrick Ikio should tell the Bayelsa State Students community why the planned Oct 1st Protest was called off.

Frankco Pere , a popular Amputee Comedian, Dancer and Actor from Bayelsa has solicited with the general public to patronize his palm wine business in order for him to raise money to marry the love of his life.

The popular comedian from Amassoma in Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State has earlier posted on his official Facebook page that his marriage ceremony is coming up shortly and would like for well meaning People to support him.

The multi talented Comedian and dancer also seeked for help from well meaning Nigerians to promote his brand as a Comedian, Dancer and Actor.

Talkeet Media gathered that Francko Pere was shot some years ago while he was Performing at an event, which led to the amputation of his left leg, and since then he's been into menial jobs to survive.

Landlord throws tenant's child down from a storey building in NDU Amassoma

This is Bayelsa earlier today reported that a Landlord threw his tenant's two month old baby from a storey building.

A Facebook user Tari narrated the incident

" The man is mad, or might have taken things .
House rent that is suppose to expire at the end of November but the landlord has been disturbing them to pay the money or pack out . They have told him to wait still November ending but he refused. Few days back he has brought a new tenant to check the house when their house rent has not expire.
Now yesterday when they where at home the husband was inside the house , the man locked the husband inside the house and was fighting his wife . He held one hand of the child with hand and was fighting the wife with his other hand .
A two months baby bones aren't strong yet . In the process of fighting the baby slip from his hand and hit the ground from the one storey building.
Funny enough the dedication of the child is on Sunday , the man has already paid for drinks and other things .
The most painful part is that the Child is the tenant first child.

Omo they almost set the landlord on fire if not for his family people. "
