A private business firm, Phone Headquarters, in Yenagoa has donated relief materials to Biogbolo community flood victims.

While addressing the press, a representative of the CEO Visco Communications Limited popularly known as Phone Headquarters, Mr Victor Iheanacho in Yenagoa, by Bobby Ugo, said that the CEO was moved by the devastating condition of the flood victims which calls for worry and concern of all well meaning Nigerians.

“Many families have lost their loved ones, children and women alike, the Government alone cannot do it. The disaster is bigger than what we see on social media.

“The flood affected individuals counting in thousands are in need of drugs, food, life jackets, sweaters, mosquito nets, etc. This is why through the Phone Headquarters in Yenagoa , we have made this initial donation towards purchase of food stuff and other relief items.

“I want to implore others to join us to support Bayelsa flood victims, no amount is too small to provide relief materials for the affected families.

“A lot still need to be done including more foodstuffs, medical consultations, medications, clothing’s, Insecticides treated nets, clothings, temporary hygiene infrastructures (mobile toilets), among others.

“Indeed, no government may be able to adequately plan for disaster (man -made or natural) and when it happens it knows no creed, class or culture, it affects everyone in one way or the other.

Bayelsa Vigilante group rescue 13 yrs old girl locked, sexual molested, beaten in a Hotel

...recovers a gun, drugs

Operative of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service have rescued a 13 years old girl, identified as Miss Favour Doumo, a native of Nembe LGA, who was locked in a hotel and sexually molested with a gun by some suspected cultists in a hotel along the bossy water road in Tombia area of the state capital Yenagoa.

The Chairman of the State Vigilante outfit, Hon. Doubiye Alagba, who led members of his team on the operation, confirmed that the girl was rescued and suspect arrested with illegal possession of a gun, phones, money and other items.

Explaining her ordeal, the victim, Miss Favour, said she met the suspect barely a week and he invited her to the hotel where he resides, made love overtures at her, "I got to the hotel to meet him only for him to accuse me of cheating on him, that while I was away for an exam I travelled few days ego that I went to meet another man."

"He locked me in the hotel room. And later in the company of his friend, one Efe, used a gun to threaten me that I will not go anywhere, they stripped me off my clothes filmed me with their phones and molested me. He told me that he is a gun trafficker and that he has been to prison and that the government knows him".

Favour also disclosed that, she cried and screamed all through the night while they threatened to kill her untill she was rescued by the state vigilante security service.

The suspect Mr. Christopher Abraham, 37 years a native of Ndoro in Ekeremor Local Government council area, claimed that the victim is his girl friend that he spends his money for, but discovered that she cheated on him with other men. and that was why he invited her and they had argument and he went physical with her out of anger."

He also claimed that the gun belongs to his friend, who he identified as Efe who is now at large.

The Chairman of the Bayelsa state Vigilante Service, Hon. Doubiye Alagba, also said the suspect has confessed that him and his accomplice, who is now at large, is a member of the bobos cult group.

"The suspect is a known drug dealer and they are part of the persons causing unrest in the state. Let me also use this medium to warn hotel owners who harbour criminals as quest in their hotel to desist or face the wroth of the law."

Alagba noted that already the special squad of the vigilante outfit in the coming weeks will be storming more hotels that we have gathered intelligent Informations are abode for criminals

He assured members of the public of the outfits readiness to continue to ensure the safety of lives and properties of the citizens of the state.

Meanwhile the suspect has been handed over to the state security outfit, Operation Doo-Akpo of the Nigerian Police Force.

A missing lady known as Kate was found dead this morning in her house which she shares with her boyfriend. She was buried in a shallow grave inside their room.

She has been missing for days with no logical explanation from her boyfriend, Mr. Joseph. Her family confronted him this morning that he must provide her dead or alive. After much pressure, she was found buried inside their room on the verge of decaying.

He made this known on his Facebook page z letting the public known of the alleged attempt to arrest and attack him with thugs.

With due respect and grate sense of humility I Amb Maxwell Ngonabo Ogbulu write to crave the public indulgence on the present situation on ground. Before i continue with the fatual allegations,let me formally notify to the public that there is no one behind my current involvement of fighting against injustice in my local government.

I am wanted all over Yenagoa metropolis simply because of the bitter truth I speaks.

Come to think of it,did I mention anyone name throughout my previous written articles here on social media platform?. If I did something wrong my conscience will definitely speak against me. I don't have any idea of why they used security agents to monitor my movement in the street of Yenagoa metropolis.

As a Patriotic law maker,it is your responsibility to defend your Constituencts and not to oppress them with your limited power enshrined in the Constitution. Am using this media medium to reaching out to the general public that by paraventure anything bad happened to me,my siblings and mothers you should point the suspicious fingers straight to the honourable,all because he have instructed hoodlums tauts, cultists and others security agents to come after my life.

I have a clear evidence against him,his missed calls on my phone is one of the fact all because he haven't called me on before now. I advised our leaders in authority to do what is right and just. The meeting was held at Jubilee Hotel kpansia yenegoa Bayelsa State, the sole aim of the meeting was to orient the beneficiaries on the importance of acquiring a skill while journeying to attain the B.sc B.Eng, as many lack life planning and how to spend money judiciously from proceeds of the their skills.

The Students Union Government President Comr. Sen. Macdonald Blessing Felix who was also present admonished the beneficiaries on life planning beyond engagement in politics and oriented them on self employment and empowerment and how it has layed off so many youths of the streets and off wondering after NYSC.

The woman leader NUBSS FUO Chapter Comr. Ruth Peremoboere Geku spoke on how to manage money, prioritize money she admonish how to split whatever money that comes into their hands into percentage and how to spend judiciously.

Furthermore, Comr. Sen. Adogoin Jehovah-nissi II oriented the students on the importance of skill and how it has helped so many youths to make end meet while waiting for government jobs.

The free skill acquisition batch A will officially commence tomorrow being the 17th March, 2022 at Xoala 28 footprint.

Today a remarkable day for me as I, was able to engage some youth/student leaders across various local government area and the beneficiaries of the free
"3 WEEKS SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAM ON FOOTWEAR MAKING" organised by my humble self, as Deputy Chief Justice Students Union Judiciary Federal University Otuoke Bayelsa State, for an orientation and interview session.

Lad Arrested for allegedly scamming a lady who wanted to buy Love Machine for 22k

The young man pictured below has been arrested by officers of the Nigerian police for allegedly defrauding an unsuspecting lady to the sum of #22,000 naira only.

The incident which was posted by popular blog Bayelsa Storyline alleged that the young lady met the guy in their WhatsApp platform (Hangout group). The lady who wanted to buy a Love Machine (S*x toy) sent the money to the guy with that promise that he will deliver the Love Machine to her but he never did.

He has been arrested after days of investigation and at the time of this report, his mother has promised to pay back the money in full next week.

Fulani Herdsmen Allegedly R*pe and Kill Woman in Opume Ogbia LGA

A young woman has been found in a pool of her own blood in Opume Community in Ogbia LGA on Saturday 5th, March 2022.

According to reports, the young lady went to the farm after Bishop Quarters Ogbia Road to dig cassava on Thursday 4th March 2022, when the ugly incident happened.

A search party was sent to look for her on Friday when she didn't return from the farm the previous day, only to be found murdered in cold blood.

She was raped, murdered, hands and legs tied up and abandoned in the bush.

Angry Youths of Opume Community blocked the Opume - Ogbia road in protest and has asked the relevant authorities to clamp down the perpetrators of this evil act.
