There is police report in the website as one of the requirements.

I suggest you go back to Asaba and spend the money there, than doing a fresh one. Try and see the PCO there or someone that works with the PCO.

Hello, what you have on your National Id card (NIMC) is same as NIN.

Thanks o, just that Nigeria tins tire person o. When I used it to register my MTN line I was told is not valid, Imagine. Hence my doubt if they will accept it.

Day 2 ..... Capturing

I arrived the passport office at about 9am, we were asked to stay in the waiting hall (special candidates and DIY) and people were been called as soon as their payment has been confirmed with all needed vetting and stamping. I was eventually called for capturing around 12:40pm we proceeded to the capturing area (strictly no mobile phones allowed) and capturing was concluded around 1:25... After capture i was given a number and asked to come for collection in about 4 weeks time.

All the officers are approachable and willing to guide and assist.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY.. ALWAYS GO THE DIY WAYYY.. It is time consuming but worth it i must add.

Please which NIN did u use?
I have The one on my national ID card or should I register for a fresh NIN.

Standard Passport

Local Government letter of identification.
Or certificate of state of origin.. You can get this at your state liason office.

Birth certificate / age declaration.

2 recent colour passport photographs

Guarantor's form sworn to before a commissioner of Oaths / Magistrate / High Court Judge.... Except things have changed you can arrange this at the passport office naija style

Parents' letter of consent for minors under 16 years

Marriage certificate where applicable

Police report incase of lost passport (that's the only circumstances you will be asked a police report)

They also asked me for NIN slip.

Your personal details on your NIN slip must the the same with any document you are presenting.

Except things has changed, people pay more than this naija style 40k, 45k, 50k etc . I would advice you get to the passport office before making any payments online. Some of this things are arranged there but[b] SHINE YOUR EYES [/b]

My lawyer friend took me to his police friends, I paid 3000 naira.
I did a new passport and the company applied for a new visa for me, that was 2019, I was travelling to Dubai.

So that means the police report is compulsory?

u do not need police report to get a passport. As for guarantor’s form it is downloaded from the portal after u have made payment for your passport applivation. U simply ask ur guarantor to fill it out and print and take to court to stamp. 500 naira is the charge for court stamping. Who is telling u all these lies and wants to defraud you like this? You don't need an agent for either. With your 45k,you are covered to renew if it is renewal.
Just get your old passport, NIN and the amount.

Anyone with an international passport can be your guarantor. At least the person should be above 18yrs
