I see some idiots_have been infected by the political correctness virus. if it talks like a hoe, acts like a hoe, or even breathes like a hoe, then it is most definitely a hoe. no one told her to run around obanikoro grinding & clapping her ass cheeks on random dicks_for money. She a hoe, no two ways about it. |
TrapHedges:I need this in my life right now..... the power of the lamb on this holy day compels you to pass that joint...

there is no elephant with one hand. damn! looks like I'm late to the party ![]() next |
Mariinee:no make me plank you. |
Oyindidi:How does paying more equal superiority? i think it's just an avenue to milk guys dry just so a few girls can be incentivized to attend. |
so I'm supposed to pay 5 times the amount a girl will pay just to get in? Call me when flat rates are set for every gender. I'm not going to pay to attend an event that promotes favouritism and gender discrimination. |
Wazlax:I'm sure you do. O! wise one. Because a comment is all the evidence great minds like you require to detect in no uncertain terms the true nature of any person on this forum. show me a PhD in a behavioural science or retreat into a dark corner and stay there. And in the spirit of returning unsolicited tips- quit all the Sherlock Holmes literature and movies......it'll do you a world of good. next! |
Wazlax:You don't know me or what I am. I might actually be a sociopath for all you know. Don't speak confidently about things you know little about. either way, I generally don't care about a lot of things in this world and I wouldn't trade that general sense of apathy for anything. it's so much fun watching people lose their shit_over issues that barely register on my radar. and there is nothing wrong with being selfish. serve your interests first before paying attention to other people's problems. |
o.k. I think I'm a little confused here. isn't 2.1 a CGPA of 3.5 and above? you currently have a 3.44 and you say you're a hardworking student but you can't make up the 0.06 difference to make it? |
Just those minor things and you're worried about being sociopathic? if so,then I'm probably a full-blown psychopath with a side offering of dissociative personality disorder. I care more about my laptop than I do 98% of the people I know. and let me tell you, it's a fucking_awesome state of mind to be in. the last time I shed a tear was when I fell and scraped my knee on my back home from primary school. revel in the advantage you have over all these pussy_humans. |
Lawlahdey:Happy new month. i appreciate your kind words. |
saw the topic & actually thought I was going to come in and read some mind-bending piece that was going to enable my mind to transcend the limits of these earthly shackles....... But then, I forgot this was romance section...

While the larger part of the hausa dialect is distinctly separate from any other language in the world, a significant percentage of the words used are extracted from a host of other languages that can be traced back to the earliest civilizations with Arabic being the most influential of them all. which is in no small part thanks to the contact between 16-17th century Arabian merchants and the people of the west African subregion and some parts of the Central African peninsula stretching even as far as some parts of western Sudan to the east. Then Islam came into the equation and even more words seeped into the dialect. Then there is also the numerous similarities between the hausa and yoruba languages that is worth a second take. Whether yoruba absorbed some of the hausa language or hausa adopted some yoruba words, I have no idea. But either way, every language in this world at one point or the other has taken a number of words from other languages. Disclaimer: This is not entirely factual as I'm only blending together things I know and those I experienced. |

Gidson05:The correct option is 'I would...'. 'would' is used when you are narrating a made-up event or statements that deal with abstract, theoretical scenarios. So, appreciation or gratitude like every other emotion is an abstract concept, so it falls under the purview of 'would'. And it is also the past tense of 'will'. One of its other uses is in the case of a story that has happened in the past but is being narrated in the present day, 'would' serves as the tense that maintains an event's place in the future timeline of that story. |
IamLaura:then there is nothing left to say. You were always going to be jaundiced in your assessment of the issue.
