A Nigerian man has expressed his displeasure on the internet over the current trend in academic institutions. The man identified as Mubaraka Anwar slammed, in a Facebook post, the country's leaders for making learning and life difficult for the average Nigerian student despite having it easy many years ago.

He was critical about the tuition cost that seems to always be on an upward review. To further buttress and drive home his point, he shared an old meal ticket dated 1973 that was used in University of Ibadan.

He prayed for God's deliverance of the country. Mubaraka wrote:"Those who enjoyed free meal, are the ones making life increasing tuition fees for Nigerians at this moment. "May God deliver us."

Responding to his post, a Facebook user named Kabiru Sani Auwalu remarked; "Amen, O Father of the Father, O Father of the Lord."

The wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo, has condoled with Fati, the widow of late Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.

A source informed the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Osinbajo, again, visited the deceased’s wife on Sunday.

Dolapo was among the early sympathizers at the Flag Staff House at Niger Barracks, Abuja

During her first visit on Friday, Dolapo was received by the DEPOWA President and Chief of Defence Staff’s wife, Victoria Irabor.

The Second Lady expressed condolences on behalf of the First Lady, Aisha Buhari and prayed to God to console the fallen officers’ families.

“She assured Mrs Attahiru and family that both the President and his VP would ensure that the memories of the COAS and all the military officers involved would not be forgotten.

“She added that the presidency and the federal government would stand by their families as indicated in the public tributes by President Buhari and his vice,” the source said.

Also at the residence, were the Defence Minister, retired Maj.-Gen. Bashir Magashi; Women Affairs Minister, Pauline Tallen; wife of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, among others.

Attahiru and 10 other military officers died in an air crash on Friday evening near the Kaduna International Airport.

Born on August 10, 1966, Attahiru was a native of Doka in Kaduna. He was among the Service Chiefs appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in January

The CEO of WINPEG ENTERPRISE was arrested on Saturday 24th May, 2021 over the charges of running illegal business.

It is learnt that the FIA has arrested one Mr Benson Omamuyouvwi Jerry the owner of WINPEG ENTERPRISE who was running illegal money laundering and other chargers. The CEO of WINPEG who recently flaunted his newly mansion and car he bought few days to his arrest.

Benson Omamuyouvwi Jerry was arrested on Saturday evening after FIA received several claims such as, illegal money laundering and scam alert

After some investigation the banking transactions in his account did not match his profile. Further statements of individuals were recorded who divulged that they received amounts from him which were sent to them by their relatives from abroad.
